Resolved Question: Norton anti-virus vista upgrade.?

I had norton anti-virus 2007 on my previous xp home pc and now i have got a vista home basic pc. My anti virus still has over 300 days subsciption left and it says the anti-virus is elegible for a vista upgrade. Without vista upgrade it is not compatible and cant run. So i download the right version from the web and then do the things it says. Then when i run the program i've dwnloaded it wants me to put in the serial nmber from my own copy. Although the serial code is the wrong length.... my 2007 anti virus (upgrade version) is serial of (6 sets of 4 nmbrs) that amount of letters but the pc one requires more :/ Have i downloaded the correct vista update my box says : windows xp home / xp pro eligible for a free windows vista compatibility update* on my disk it says : *Microsoft vista compatibility update subject to production release of vista operating system within the service period.
