Open Question: Why have the Jewish people always been persecuted in history from different civilizations?

I've heard some reasons, but I find it hard to believe that everybody, from the Egyptians to the Germans, hated jews because they just wanted a scapegoat. That is just a cheap reason. It's like saying everyone hates Americans because they are jealous...which is false. Did they really support the rise of the Russian Bolshevick Revolution and Communism? Were they really behind the Treaty of Versailles which really hurt Germany in a cruel way after WWI, and which led to WWII? Are the jewish Zionists trying to control the world through banks and other institutions? Why do jewish people own much of Hollywood and the mainstream media? Why are most A-list actors jewish...is this nepotism? Wasn't Hitler turned away from an acting school in Germany because he didn't seem jewish enough? Didn't most of the businesses after WWI get bought out by jewish people? Didn't Hitler blame jews for Germany's defeat in WWI because they (wealthy jewish bankers and business owners) didn't support Germany? Why do jewish people account for a small percentage of the world population yet hold so much wealth and privledge when most people live off $1 a day in Third World countries? I'm not anti-semitic, I'm just asking important questions. Whether these questions are true or not, I'm just trying to understand why different people have always hated this specific group. There has to be reasons other than ignorant scapegoating and jealousy... more

Resolved Question: How do you feel about the three leading anti-immigration groups sharing?

extremist ties? New SPLC Report: Three leading anti-immigration groups share extremist roots Today, the Southern Poverty Law Center is releasing a new report, The Nativist Lobby: Three Faces of Intolerance, examining the three Washington, D.C., organizations standing in the way of comprehensive immigration reform. The report shows that they are part of a network of groups created by a man who has been at the heart of the white nationalist movement for decades. The Nativist Lobby describes how the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) and NumbersUSA were founded and funded by John Tanton, a retired Michigan ophthalmologist who operates a racist publishing company and has written that to maintain American culture “a European-American majority” is required. The report reveals that Tanton, who still sits on FAIR’s board of directors, founded the racist Social Contract Press and has corresponded with Holocaust deniers, white nationalist intellectuals and Klan lawyers for decades – correspondence documented by his own writings stored at a University of Michigan library. The report shows that FAIR has been aware of Tanton’s views and activities for years. http://www.splcenter.org/blog/2009/02/03/new-splc-report-three-leading-anti-immigration-groups-share-extremist-roots/ more

Resolved Question: Do anti-immigration activist want a dangerous and violent country?

Reports show that there is no correlation with crime and immigration, and in some cases, immigration makes our cities safer. Spreading rhetoric and hate causes anger to those that are mislead and misinformed causing a rise in hate crimes. Even children have been victims of these threats. Is this what anti-immigration people are wanting for America? ...A more dangerous and violent country? http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1717575,00.html Immigration: No Correlation With Crime Despite our melting-pot roots, Americans have often been quick to blame the influx of immigrants for rising crime rates. But new research released Monday shows that immigrants in California are, in fact, far less likely than U.S.-born Californians are to commit crime. The new report even bolsters claims by some academics that increased immigration makes the United States safer. http://www.vcstar.com/news/2008/jul/04/anti-immigration-hate-on-a-rapid-upswing/ Anti-immigration hate on a rapid upswing The recent rise in number of hate groups also parallels a rise in hate crimes against Latinos, which the FBI reported up by 35 percent between 2003 and 2006. FBI experts say those crimes usually are intended to target illegal immigrants, but often hit legal residents, many of whom are native U.S. citizens. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_k_szqFAtY Minutemen with guns threaten kids at the peaceful Macehualli Centeru_bin_ca, you really need to take the time and actually read the articles! Resolved Question: Wouldn’t it better for all of us to leave oil as the world main energy source?

I see global warming hype as a very good opportunity for us to develop the new technologies which will help us live a lot less depending on fossil fuel. it is particularly OIL that I really want to see we leave it, because I HATE the OPEC. Let say it again, I HATE the OPEC. Take a look at OPEC, and “who run it? “ Do you see the people that are suspected of financing our old friend Osama and a lot more terrorists groups? Do you see a pack of proactive anti-america? Do you see Hugo Chavez and the whole klan of Iranian fascist too? We have seen them cut production to rise the price when we need the oil to be cheap before. They are not in any mean being here to help us or the world. Some might view global warming hype as a way to save the planet, Some view it as a way for political gain. I view it as the way to liberate us from being the OPEC slave. Now when I talk about evil OPEC with the global warming skeptic, they seem to think the same way as me. “OPEC is BAD” for us. They are taking advance of us because they know we need their oil. on and on But when we talk about new technology that will help us less use or even leave Oil as the main energy source, they will try to put the brake on the ideas. Otherworld’s they switch to support the use of Oil which again we and the world buy most of oil from OPEC, then again “who run OPEC”? To me the only people have a lot more to loose when the world leave the OIL base technology are those oil producers particularly OPEC. Unlike the Russian and EU, the OPEC members are retard slow on adapt to anything creative. They economic will be in big trouble when America, the world biggest oil consumer and better hope for the world to leave oil. With out OIL, many current OPEC member won’t have unlimited funding left for support terrorist organizations, no more Chavez, no more Iran as we know. what the Global Warming Skeptic represents themselves? Are they the people that support the existing of OPEC and love to see our next generation carryon being the slave of OPEC oil? Or they are those agree with funding the territories like Osama to rampage the world? One thing for sure, I know they are not the people wishing well for the non OPEC members world. Supporting any idea to stay with the old technologies that depend so much on the OIL, that mean directly supporting the OPEC. And who ever support the well of OPEC, I will ask the same old question “who run the OPEC?” if not those anti American and the terrorist supporters. more

Resolved Question: How many of you Christians sinned deliberately this week ?

The Movie AVATAR is Anti-Christian Movie Ecological disaster has long been a hallmark motif in many science fiction stories and movies, from "The Day of the Triffids," where alien plants take over earth to "Them," the classic science-fiction movie about ants transformed into giant arthropods by the atomic bomb. In the Hugo-winning science fiction novel "The Sheep Look Up" by John Brunner, (perhaps the ultimate environmental disaster novel), the final solution to stopping the environment from being destroyed by man is to kill off the most "wasteful" nation on earth, the American people! James Cameron's new sci-fi extravaganza, "Avatar," set to open Friday, says virtually the same thing, but on a bigger scale. The major problem with "Avatar" is that Cameron tells a story that hates people. In the story, a group of nature-worshipping aliens triumph over the greedy, evil human corporations that want to destroy their planet. The aliens eventually send the humans back to a dying earth to die. How marvelous! If you think this sounds as if Al Gore wrote the script for "Avatar," not James Cameron, you may be right. This theme of kill all the humans, especially the pro-American, capitalist humans, has long been an underlying message of the left-wing, environmentalist movement, beginning with Rachel Carson's hysterical plea to ban DDT, even though, to this day, there is no evidence that DDT is harmful to humans or the environment, and even though the use of DDT can save millions of human lives from the deadly disease of malaria. Many millions of malaria deaths later, along comes "Avatar" to, once again, cast human beings, especially militaristic capitalists, as the super-villain and to create heroes out of a bunch of pagan primitives who have achieved an idyllic, but impossible, at-one-ment with nature. For hundreds of years, the pagan, communist ideas expressed in this movie circulated among a threadbare group of outcasts with dirty fingernails and greasy hair, who shared their obtuse, occult ideas amongst themselves with manic, alienated glee. Now, James Cameron has made these insane views the major bulwark of a very spectacular movie, but the spectacle does not make these Neo-Marxist views any more coherent, rational or uplifting. Great entertainment puts plot first, character second, dialogue third, idea forth, music fifth and spectacle last, as Aristotle noted. Cameron reverses this in "Avatar." And, all too often, when you put spectacle first, you turn a great little movie like "King King" into "King Bore." In "Avatar," the dialogue is often funky, the ideas are self-contradictory and absurd, the characters are shallow and stereotypical and the plot is forgotten as Cameron shows off scene after scene of his special effects. If only someone had edited this movie, it may have been more interesting. Those who want to be blown away by special effects, or who are on drugs, may disagree. Ultimately, "Avatar" is bad news. What the people in the movie need to deliver them from their greed and the aliens in the movie need to deliver them from their severe group think is the loving salvation available only through the true God, Jesus Christ. I urge you all Christians who watched that movie to REPENT! There is still time. more

Resolved Question: Now that Conservatives are denying Global Warming, how do they feel about blaming illegals for it?

Voting Question: Why do marxists want to force race mixing and destroy the caucasian race?

"Race is a meaningless social construct that leads to the most pernicious of evils: racism. The way that you wipe racism off the face of the map is that you get rid of the construct of race by having people of different racial backgrounds intermarry all over the world. Some of the most amazing, dymamic individuals are of mixed background like Tiger Woods and Obama. What I would propose is that the media take an active role in promoting and forcing racial intermarriage. Say if you have a news team, have one anchor be an African American man and his cohost be a blonde woman - or have an Asian American woman with the white guy as the cohost. This can be done in advertising too - "normalized" people of different races being together so they are more likely to marry and reproduce. We live in an increasingly small world and instead of every group going their own separate way, perhaps we can help make this "one world." WRosencratz As you can see, this "person" thinks White people must intermarry(and must be forced to do it) and that white extinction is the only way to wipe out "racism", Notice his comments about race mixing, all White and non-white. I mean isn't it curious? these people(aka Iiberals who run the media) know exactly what they are doing by saying that the USA and Europe will be a white minority because of interracial marriage, massive non-white immigration and so forth, Isn't that anti-white racism bigotry?. It's only white countries that are expected to accept unlimited immigration and allow alien races and cultures into their homelands without complaint. It's only whites who are seriously expected not to care about race or preserving their own societies and civilizations. Whites will simply be gone, the other races will still be around. If you truly enjoy diversity, you would obviously oppose the extinction of white people. You have to realize that other races aren't living in multicultural societies like ALL western societies. Almost all asian countries are homogenous, and they keep it that way. Africa isn't bombarded by massive non-black immigration. To say that we will all be one race is ignorant. If you have any common sense and common decency, you know there's something horribly wrong about that. BTW, I don't want answers saying that race is just a skin color because It's not( See Non Caucasian albinos and you will see what I mean), I find it extremely offensive that these people compare white race to a disease. more

Resolved Question: Why are anti-illegal immigragtion groups celebrating about the date being pushed back?

Resolved Question: Is fundamentalism the new racism?

The question is more loaded than it's suppose to be, but to compare the two is the only way I know how. For several decades now and especially after electing Barack Obama, it's hasn't been 'socially acceptable' to be racist. Now, I'm not a racist, not even close. However, to not look back and realize that there was a time when it wasn't 'frowned down upon' to be racist is just plain naive. And not one point during this question am I comparing racism and fundamentalism on an equal level. I'm simply pointing out the resemblances of the two. 40 years ago, there was violence against minorities, especially african americans. People didn't want them around, arranged demonstrations to show just how much they didn't like them. There was even groups dedicated to the hatred of minorities. Since the appropriate legislation was passed and people finally grasped the concept that it is, in fact, wrong to hate someone based on the color of their skin, people began to not do it. Evidence? We just elected a black president. Racists have the lowest numbers in U.S. history and everything is going well. So, the point. It seems that to replace hating minorities, people have shifted to hating people based solely on their habits. Eating meat, smoking, being gay, etc are now being discriminated against. There's violence (I worked at KFC and during a PETA rally outside of the store, my tires got slashed) against them, there's demonstrations showing how much they don't like them and even groups dedicated to hating them. While it's great that we no longer discriminate based on the color of one's skin (as a whole, I know there's still some racism out there, but it's no longer prevalent enough to care about), but I think that this new wave of hatred is wrong too. Examples: The Catholic Church wants to shut down all homeless shelters in Washington D.C. if they legalize gay marriage, PETA is always finding new and exciting ways of making meat eaters lives miserable, anti-smoking laws are being passed across the country banning us from smoking in anything from a restaurant or bar to the comfort of our own cars (if there's a non-smoker in it). It's nonsense that people care so much about smoking, sexual or eating habits and it's even bigger nonsense that there's actually legislation being written to stop these people from doing what they want. Smoking is somewhat understandable. It makes perfect sense that instead of opening up bars for non-smokers they simply assimilate all the bars into their way of thinking *sarcasm*. Did we not escape to this country as immigrants years ago to escape this very kind of action? Discuss, I'd really like to hear your opinions. more

Resolved Question: Has Monckton jumped the shark, comparing climate science to Nazis and fascism?

Lord Monckton, who is frequently cited as an 'expert' climate science 'skeptic' (and was even invited by Republican Representative Joe Barton to testify before Congress as such), has resorted to the Nazi Defense. First he was caught on tape calling activists who crashed a polluter-funded anti-science global warming event in Copenhagen “Hitler Youth.” Americans for Prosperity, one of the most notorious climate change denial groups and former pro-tobacco group, immediately distanced themselves from Monckton's words saying they "DO NOT approve". http://climateprogress.org/2009/12/12/tvmob-hate-speech-lord-monckton-hitler-youth-fascist-climate-activists/#more-15740 But the fact that his rhetoric was more offensive than a fossil fuel industry-funded right-wing think tank was willing to support didn't stop Monckton. Oh no, then he went further an wrote an article on the Science & Public Policy Institute website - another fossil fuel industry-funded right-wing think tank, for which he's the Chief Policy Advisor. The article title again refers to the activists as 'Hitler Youth'. Monckton also refers to them as 'Fascists', 'Nazi thugs', using 'Hitlerian tactics'. When one of the protesters pointed out he was a Jew, Monckton again called him a 'Hitler Youth' to his face. He then inexplicably begins attacking James Hansen, calling him "a fully-paid-up member of the new regime". Monckton then claims "NASA is making a fortune out of the current US Administration". That's right - you should see the mansion which is now NASA GISS headquarters! Monckton isn't done with the Nazi comparisons there though. He then extends them to the media. "The Guardian, the British equivalent of Der Sturmer, the in-house journal of Hitler’s Sturmabteilung". Then of course he also calls journalist George Monbiot "Fascist" and "Hitler". If you have the stomach for it, here's the Nazi-filled piece: http://sppiblog.org/news/hitler-youth-in-denmark-again Has Monckton jumped the shark? more

Resolved Question: Read the following: Agree or Disagree?

Read the following and decide if you agree or disagree with each statement. Agree or Disagree 1. President Obama seeks a future without war, exploitation, inequality, and poverty. He strives to build a brighter future, one based on democracy, peace, justice, equality, cooperation, and meeting human needs such as health care. 2. Obama will usher in a new era in this county. The great wealth of the U.S. will for the first time be for the benefit of all the people. Foreign policy will be based on mutual respect, peace, and solidarity. The people’s democratic rights will be guaranteed and expanded. Racial, gender, and social equality will be the basis of domestic policies and practices. 3. The people of the United States face problems of exploitation, oppression, racism, sexism, and a deteriorating environment. Despite its rhetoric about making Americans safe, the Bush administration wasted hundreds of billions on the invasion and occupation of Iraq while it cut money for maintaining the levees—leading directly to the disaster that Hurricane Katrina wreaked on the people of New Orleans and much of the Gulf Coast. 4. The callous disregard for African Americans, for poor people, for the elderly, and for all those unable to evacuate on their own, exemplifies the Bush Administrations inhumane disregard for the lives people during the Katrina disaster in New Orleans. 5. Big Corporations exploit people as workers on the job and the same people as consumers at the checkout counter. Their foremost weapon to maintain their dominance is racism, used to divide people and achieve extra profits. 6. The ultra-right Bush Administration was led by militaristic, racist, anti-democratic sectors of transnationals. They gained support for their ultra-right agenda from groups that were misled as to their real interests, and sometimes were blinded by fear. 7. Obama’s movement for change and progress is challenged by the power of the Big Corporations. African Americans, Latinos, Native Americans, and Women all face corporate power when they seek equality on the job. 8. Environmental organizations face large corporate power when they try to stop Global Warming, pollution, stop the dumping of industrial waste, or stop the ravaging of the remaining wilderness areas for unfair profit. 9. Our country and our environment are all being destroyed by the greed of a few obscenely wealthy capitalist groupings. 10. We need radical solutions, real democracy, and real unity. We, and our allies, need to take power from the hands of the wealthy corporations. We need real solutions to real problems, not the empty promises of ultra right wing politicians and corporate bosses. We need peace, justice, and equality. If any of the above sounds familiar, it should. It isn’t something new that has recently been discovered since Obama came on the scene, but rather something we have faced for decades. Resolved Question: Did you know that American Evangelicals have contributed to Uganda's anti-gay bill?

The Family is a group that includes many powerful people in our government. There has been a chapter of this group in Uganda for many years now. The bill called for the execution of homosexuals and imprisonment for all who do not report them to the authorities. Though execution has been removed, imprisonment remains. These are not Christians. Resolved Question: Does being Anti-illegal immigrant mean you’re anti-Latino?

Beyond the noisy town hall meetings, Tea Party protests and sky-is-falling speeches characterizing much of the health care debate is a less visible, but no less intense push to broaden the face of the immigration reform movement. With the 2010 election year looming, Democrat Barack Obama in the White House and increasing numbers of Asian-American and Pacific Islanders in Congress, many groups, including the NAACP, are working harder in the traditionally Latino-led movement, sensing a fresh opportunity to overhaul laws affecting millions of immigrants, both legal and illegal. "For far too long, the Latino population in the U.S. has really borne the brunt of the anti-immigrant sentiment," said Rep. Yvette Clarke, D-N.Y. Washington NAACP bureau director Hillary Shelton said: "The immigration debate needs to have, in addition to a Latino face, it needs to have a Haitian face. It needs to have an Asian face." Resolved Question: Why do the Jews already mentioned the " 6 millions " number many times before WWII?

As early as 1900, Rabbi Stephen Wise told a group of Zionists “there are 6,000,000 living, bleeding, suffering arguments in favour of Zionism" as reported in a the New York Times, June 11, 1900. In the 1912 American Jewish Year Book 5672, the AMERICAN JEWISH COMMITTEE reported that “Russia has since 1890 adopted a deliberate plan to expel or <exterminate> six millions of its people for no other reason than that they refuse to become members of the Greek Church, but prefer to remain Jews.” Other sources before WW2 speak of a Shoah of 6 Million, Shoah is the Hebrew word to Burn. It must also be remembered that the Zionist movement was beginning around this time, The propaganda would have been part of a deliberate plan to advance Zionism. Jews have always been adept at social manipulation and playing the victim. The 6 million number has been part of Jewish consciousness well before WW2 and could easily be the number decided on at the Nuremberg Trials for convenience purposes, only a few months after the end of WW2 the allies were able to come up with an exact Number of 6 million?. The truth is no one really knows, Red Cross figures put the concentration camp deaths at around 500,000. The presiding judge at the Nuremberg trial was told before hand in a New York hotel room by a group of Jewish lawyers that the charge of 6 million deaths was to be the Number that the Nazis were to be charged with (Private diary's of Robert Jackson). People will doubt a small lie but never a great lie. Page 482 of the Encyclopaedia Britannica, 10th Edition 1902, under anti-Semitism , we can, at the bottom of the page, read : "While there are in Russia and Rumania six millions of Jews who are being systematically degraded..." Isn't this amazing that it was already question of 6 millions Jews in a " persecution " context way before WWI and WWII ( 1902 )? How can one understand this? Resolved Question: Did Sarah Palin invite the anti-immigration group FAIR to Alaska?

Did Sarah Palin invite the anti-immigration group FAIR to Alaska? FAIR play? A controversial D.C.-based anti-immigration group organizes in Alaska In early May, Susan Tully, the National Field Director for the Federation for American Immigration Reform, held a meeting at the Anchorage Hilton to “work towards forming a local Anchorage immigration reform group,” according to the invitation to the event FAIR, which claims a quarter-million supporters, has been labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. According to a 21-page white paper by the SPLC’s Dr. Heidi Beirich titled “The Nativist Lobby,” “FAIR has long been marked by anti-Latino and anti-Catholic attitudes. It has mixed this bigotry with a fondness for eugenics, the idea of breeding better humans discredited by its Nazi associations. It has accepted $1.2 million from an infamous, racist eugenics foundation. It has employed officials in key positions who are also members of white supremacist groups. Recently, it has promoted racist conspiracy theories about Mexico’s secret designs on the American Southwest and an alternative theory alleging secret plans to merge the United States, Mexico and Canada.” http://www.anchoragepress.com/articles/2009/12/09/news/doc4b16f4b83c9e5745387324.txt more

Resolved Question: Teachers: does your holocaust cirriculum teach that Jewery imposed an economic boycott on Germany in 1933?

I don't remember learning this in school. Is this still taught to students when learning about the holocaust? http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Holocaust/Black.html Just weeks after Hitler assumed power on January 30, 1933, a patchwork of competing Jewish forces, led by American Jewish Congress president Rabbi Stephen Wise, civil rights crusader Louis Untermeyer, and the combative Jewish War Veterans, initiated a highly effective boycott of German goods and services. Each advanced the boycott in its own way, but sought to build a united anti-Nazi coalition that could deliver an economic deathblow to the Nazi party, which had based its political ascent almost entirely on promises to rebuild the strapped German economy. The boycotters were encouraged by the early successes of their loud, boisterous campaign, complete with nationwide protest meetings, picket signs, and open threats to destroy Germany's economy if the Reich's anti-Jewish actions persisted. Skilled organizing from unions, political groups, and commercial trade associations carried the boycott's message to every facet of American society and abroad. Depression-wracked nations around the world quickly began to shift their buying habits from the entrenched German market to less expensive, alternative goods. The anti-Hitler protest movement culminated in a gigantic rally at Madison Square Garden on March 27, 1933, organized by Rabbi Wise and the American Jewish Congress. More than 55,000 protesters crammed into the Garden and surrounding streets. Simultaneous rallies were held in 70 other metropolitan areas in the U.S. and in Europe. Radio hookups broadcast the New York event to hundreds of cities throughout the world.C'mon people, this is from the Jewish Virtual Library, it's not anything "hateful." Resolved Question: If reports show that immigrants (legal & illegal) are vital to California's economy......?

.....then why do some people try to say that CA is bankrupt because of them? Please supply some sources to help me understand this. Thank you! http://www.ocregister.com/news/immigrants-197280-immigration-study.html Study: Immigrants vital to economy even amid budget crisis Immigrants -- legal and illegal -- have come under fire lately, blamed for California's $42 billion deficit. Some anti-illegal immigration groups estimate that immigrants -- both legal and illegal -- cost the state an estimated $18 billion a year. The figure is calculated from the taxes immigrants pay minus the costs for services, they say. In response, The Immigration Policy Center has issued a report filled with statistics, stating that immigrants are vital to the state's economy. California's immigrants move up the socioeconomic ladder over time -- learning English, buying homes and escaping poverty, according to a report the center released Thursday. The report states that Latinos and Asians account for more than one-quarter of California's businesses and buying power. In addition, most native-born Californians have experienced wage gains from immigration, according to "New Americans Vital to Golden State Economy: California's Immigrants, Latinos, and Asians are a Political and Economic Powerhouse."U_RA_li, please give us a link. Resolved Question: Why do you think a lot of the anti-immigration groups are linked to racist organizations?

And why do people deny that the immigration debate has nothing to do with racism? =============================== Behind the recent upswing in anti-immigration activism are an array of groups, including the 10 listed here. Most of these groups regularly work together, and their leaders frequently hold cross-memberships in several organizations at once. Some of the groups have clear ties to openly racist organizations, and even some of those that don't still espouse thinly disguised bigotry. In the eyes of most of these groups, immigrants (typically, non-white immigrants) are responsible for nearly all the country's ills, from poverty and inner city decay to crime, urban sprawl and environmental degradation. Many of them also believe there is a secret a plot by the Mexican government and American Hispanics to wrest the Southwest away from the United States in order to create "Aztlan," a Hispanic nation. Voting Question: Why is the Anti-Defamation League implying that Britain prior to the Revolutionary War was not tyrannical?

http://www.adl.org/special_reports/rage-grows-in-America/default.asp In this latest paranoid smear report attacking the right-wing from the leftist smear outfit the Anti-Defamation League, the ADL weighs in on the American Revolution: Many of these groups have appropriated an idealized version of Revolutionary War history for their own purposes, stressing the armed resistance of the American colonists to British “tyranny” and suggesting that Americans today should act as their revolutionary forebears did. -------- Notice how they put British "tyranny" in scarequotes? Apparently, the ADL is willing to openly attack the "right-wing extremists" known as the Founding Fathers. The movements they are referencing are movements like the Oath Keepers, a group of police and military who will refuse to follow unconstitutional orders and the Three Percenters, a group of people who will refuse to disarm in the event of the passage of the next gun control law (of course, as even the leftists at the ADL ought to know, gun control is unconstitutional due to the 2nd Amendment). This report from the ADL (which probably ought to rename itself the Defamation League) also smears mainstream conservative media personalities such as Glenn Beck and even smears the Tea Party movement and whines about alleged "disruptions" at town hall meetings. The ADL is trying to conflate groups of mainstream conservatives and libertarian-leaning Ron Paul Republicans with some truly disgusting groups (such as white supremacists). Isn't it long past time to stop giving groups like the Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center (another notorious leftist smear outfit) any credibility? By conflating mainstream right-wingers with anti-Semites and white supremacists, these organizations are aiding such disgusting bigots because they consider smearing their political opponents to be more important. However, it is equally disturbing that mainstream leftist groups like the ADL are attacking the Founding Fathers and pretending that Britain wasn't tyrannical prior to the Revolutionary War (of course, even a large number of people in Britain at the time sympathized with our Revolution, including members of Parliament; many British historians have taken the American side of the Revolutionary War and argue that the Revolutionaries were merely standing up for their rights that they had always taken for granted as freeborn Englishmen). Isn't it quite revealing that the ADL chose to defame the Founding Fathers in their latest smear report? more

And with Michaele Salahi yesterday having been caught out—Facebook pompoms notwithstanding—as a bogus cheerleader for the Washington Red Skins and not a model for Victoria’s Secret as claimed, Canada Free Press (CFP) leaves it to FoxNews.com to find out if she ever was a “former Miss USA”. We do know for a fact that among the slew of memberships on charitable boards, Tareq Salahi is a former member of The American Task Force on Palestine (ATFP). The only way to know for a fact is because even though ATFP scrubbed all references to Salahi as a board member, he can still be found on Google cache. (Canada Free Press) Sad that White House Secret Service are looking like Keystone Kops in the aftermath of Obama’s very first state house dinner in the tent. While the media is fixated on the hitch in Michaele Salahi’s git-along, there can be no doubt that these recently minted “party crashers” really get around. We take you back to June 9, 2005 when Tom Nelson, operating officer of AARP, was summing up the Rock the Vote Awards night. According to the Washington Post “everyone from Sens. John McCain and Barack Obama to “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson and R&B singer Mya gathered in the National Building Museum’s Great Hall: “You were probably wondering, as you sat down at your table, ‘What the heck is the AARP doing in a Rock the Vote Event?’” Nelson noted. Time would soon tell that the AARP would show up in other fishy places. And if there is anyone who must know that this weekend’s party crasher story is a crock it’s John McCain who was at the Vote Awards Night, and who along with Barack Obama, was honored with the Rock the Nation Award, Obama “for forming a multiracial coalition in winning his seat”. McCain was handed his award for “his work on campaign finance reform”. “Just call me Funk Master McCain,” he told the audience of 1,000 in accepting his award.: (washingtonpost.com, June 9, 2005. Meanwhile, don’t know why Obama’s long time associates possibly could be mistaken for party crashers when they came into the tent with a Bravo Reality TV Show “Real Housewives of DC” professional camera crew and makeup artist in tow unless he was hoping for a Reality gig for wife Michelle, CBS celebrity Katie Couric or Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. Obama could end the “party crasher” goose chase for White House Secret Service in a proverbial New York Minute by coming clean on his almost 5-year-old social/political relationship with Tareq and Michaele Salahi. It could save money in these recessionary times and put an end to the drama of Washington’s “unprecedented” first state dinner in a tent WorldNetDaily Exclusive White House 'gatecrashers' tied to terror sympathizer Salahi served in same anti-Israel group as Obama's Palestinian professor pal -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Posted: November 29, 2009 5:12 pm Eastern By Aaron Klein © 2009 WorldNetDaily Rashid Khalidi The Virginia couple who allegedly crashed a White House state dinner is tied to Rashid Khalidi, a pro-Palestinian professor who excuses terrorism and has been a close associate to President Obama. Resolved Question: American Drug War/How Weed Won The West and Alex Jones?

I have seen a lot of Pro-Alex Jones people and a lot of "Libertarian" Pro-Ron Paul people on these anti-prohibition groups recently. I'm Gay and an Atheist and the last time I checked, Ron Paul was NOT about granting equal rights to anyone but local churches. Also, the last time I checked Alex Jones believes there's this gay conspiracy to destroy the innocent Christian religion. Why does the pro-pot community gravitate towards Jones and Paul? Is is simply because they just happen to be anti-prohibition or are a lot of the pro-pot community these tin-foil hat, anti-government conspiracy types? This is a serious question and not a troll question. I completely support legalization of marijuana flat out. I just don't really see how using psychopaths like Alex Jones and ideologically questionable people like Ron Paul to prove it so.What I am getting at is that Alex Jones and Ron Paul are against the people MOST likely to support marijuana legalization. It doesn't make sense for these people to support Alex Jones and Ron Paul the way they do. more

Resolved Question: How am I supposed to take any anti-health reform ad seriously?

When I get on the internet and find out that all of these 'groups' such as rethinkreform and 'Patients First' and ads with 'ordinary concerned citizens' are actually nothing more than fake fronts for paid lobbyists such as Dr. Evil Richard Berman and Americans for Prosperity? Or should I just accept that everyone has an angle--an ulterior motive? more

Resolved Question: Agree or Disagree: the United States is being hypocritical when they criticize Afghan govt. for being corrupt?

Normally I wouldn't endorse anything Brzezinski was advocating (foreign policy at least). But he does make some interesting points regarding the corruption in the U.S. GOVT. as well as the ethnic make-up of Afghanistan and what that means for Obama's surge plans. What do you think?? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/12/02/brzezinski-calls-anti-cor_n_376990.html Former national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was an early skeptic about increasing troops in Afghanistan, said he was not necessarily opposed to Obama's decision to send an additional 30,000 troops there. But he stressed that the mission had to be defined properly. For starters, he argued that if America's military efforts lack a sufficient multilateral component, "it will in fact help to feed the insurgency." Brzezinski also cautioned that it would be hypocritical and counterproductive for America to stress that Afghan President Hamid Karzai's government be purged of corruption. "Who are we to seriously be preaching [such] a crusade?" he asked. "We have a financial sector that is voraciously greedy and exploitative, to put it mildly. We have a Congress which is not immune to special interests. And we have an electoral system that is based largely on private donations which precipitate expectations of rewards. The notion of us going to the Afghans and preaching purity is comical... I think we should just quit that stuff." Brzezinski also expressed reservations about a counter-insurgency strategy that is too reliant on bolstering national institutions, noting that there is "a very complex" mix of different ethnic and tribal groups that have historically opposed foreign or even central authorities. "I think building up local forces, relying on the loyalties that prevail on the local level... makes much more sense given the fact that Afghanistan is a multi-ethnic society, which most Americans don't realize," he said. "To talk of an Afghan national army is to talk of something that is ultimately not possible." more

Resolved Question: Are all anti-immigration groups part of the anti-immigration movement?

How do I find reliable information on illegal immigration that isn't part of this movement? The Anti-Immigration Movement The immigration debate in the United States has been marked by racist propaganda, bogus statistics about immigrants and wild conspiracy theories — all of which combine to dehumanize Latino immigrants and falsely portray them as disease-carrying, job-stealing criminals invading our country. This xenophobic rhetoric — echoes of the scapegoating of new immigrants throughout American history — has seeped steadily into the mainstream, taken up by right-wing politicians and popular media figures like Lou Dobbs. The myths and conspiracy theories about immigrants often originate within racist extremist organizations. And the vitriol heard daily on talk radio and cable TV has helped nurture a movement of anti-immigration groups as well as traditional hate groups. Many anti-immigrant groups — like the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) — present a veneer of respectability but are deeply rooted in the world of white supremacists. In fact, John Tanton, the founder of FAIR, is considered by many to be the father of the anti-immigration movement. At the same time that anti-immigrant rhetoric has grown more heated, violence against Latinos has grown. FBI statistics suggest that hate crimes against Latinos climbed 35 percent from 2003 to 2006. http://www.splcenter.org/intel/immigrant.jsp more

Resolved Question: Are there any court cases to support the defendant and/or plaintiff in the scenario below?

I'm working on a project for school in which I have to either be a part of the defense counsel or the counsel for the plaintiff and make a persuasive argument to get the judge on my side. After reading my teacher's scenario below can anyone help me out by suggesting some cases or laws that would support either side? I know it's a long read, but if anyone has the time your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! Some months after the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America a heretofore unknown group made its appearance and impact on a large mid-western high school. Calling themselves the God Squad the group is made up of mostly boys in their junior and senior years. The group's "manifesto" in effect uses the 9/11 attacks as a rallying point for combination of white supremacist, racist, anti-Semitic, ant-Islamic, anti-immigrant, ant-gay, neo-fascist dogma mixed with a good dose of anti-abortion and fundamentalist Christian diatribe. The confrontation between the God Squad and the high school administration begins when the God Squad shows up at school all wearing their ?uniforms? consisting of black trousers, black T-shirts, and black barrettes with what patched displaying the Goad Squads logo of a handgun and large knife over a Christian cross. The same week the God Squad distributes the first edition of their weekly "newsletter" which is written primarily by the leader of the group and contains highly offensive diatribes on how it is the "the duty of all true Americans to fight against the forces trying to destroy our country" -- forces identified by the leader to include everyone that is not white and fundamentalist Christian. While the leader's writings are heavy on the white supremacist dogma, they stop just short of directly inciting violence against these thus identified ?enemies of America?. They do strongly imply an impending threat of violence against these groups by the God Squad who are "marshalling their weapons and preparing for battle". So, fearing an outbreak of violence the principal issues a ban on the activities of the God Squad. They were no longer allowed to wear their uniforms, distribute their newsletter, or disrupt school events or hold meetings of their own on school property. The day after these bans are announced, the God Squad starts a rally at school and gets in a shouting match with a crowd of students. The principal informed told the God Squad to leave school grounds or face expulsion. The God Squad refuses, telling the principal that she's violating their First Amendment rights of to freedom of speech and freedom of expression. The principal tells them they are immediately expelled and will be arrested for trespassing if they do not leave soon. The God Squad ignored her warning and five minutes later, the police arrive followed by a camera crew because the God Squad alerted the local media prior to arriving on school grounds. The God Squad is thrown to the grown and handcuffed and put into a transport bus to be taken to the county jail. After posting his son's bail, the father of the leader of the God Squad takes action. It turns out that the leader's father is a conservative-Christian lawyer who is very active in national right-to-life cases. Within 48 hours of this incident he files a federal law suite on behalf of the God Squad naming the county school district, and the high school principal (individually) as codefendants. The suite claims that the Defendant?s violated the Plaintiff?s freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and freedom of assembly First Amendment rights, as well as their civil rights as a "minority" being persecuted by police tactics and false arrest. The suite seeks one million dollars in compensatory and punitive damages for each God Squad member along with an additional ten million dollars in punitive damages for the leader of the God Squad. The suite also asks the court for immediate and injunctive relief from the principal's ban on the God Squad?s activities. So guys, what do you think? After reading the scenario are there any cases, laws, or events that would help either side? more

Resolved Question: Why are some people just plain morons about homosexuality?

Can somebody please answer this? [I apologize in advance for the rambling Im going to do because this subject rather angers me] 1- It's not a choice. Personally I don't remember waking up one morning and saying to myself, "ya know what, today I think I just might try being gay, I saw two guys the other day that were gay and it looked fun!" Just like one day Fred Phelps went and filled out his application to be straight. [and hes a jerk...] How do some people get off saying that homosexuality isn't natural! HUH! HOW! There are plenty of gay animals running around out there. Like bats! Bats have the highest rate of homosexual behavior of any mammal. And that's just bats, almost all mammals exhibit homosexual behavior, wolves, elephants, horses, dogs, your house cat, mice, and even some birds! 2-Many Christians use the Bible to denounce homosexuality, Leviticus 18:22 states " Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; it is an abomination", I kind of find it funny that a lot of anti-gay groups will use this in their campaign, but Im speculating that almost all of them seem to "overlook" the passage in the SAME BOOK that states you shouldn't eat pork, shell-fish, real fish, rabbit, or anything that does not "chew in the cud and have hooves". It just seems to me people litterally pick and chose parts of the bible to follow according to their own prejiduce. This gives many Christian-Americans the "ok" to deny gays the human RIGHT to marraige. I find that sentance a little funny, being that people are denying a RIGHT, get it, its a RIGHT, how can you in good conscience deny somebody their RIGHT!! America was not founded on Christian values, it was founded on the idea that people should have equal rights. And some even seem to think that marriage itself is a Christian concept. I'm very much pretty sure that cultures from around the worlds, dating hundreds of years BEFORE the bloody birth of Christ had marriage. So, to them I say--- I have nothing to say to them, they can just go crawl in a ditch somewhere and get hypothermia. -People will be gay, its the way it always has been, it's the way it always will be. So now, my question, why is homosexuality such an issue of political and moral debate now, more than it ever has been? [Thank you for tolerating my rambling :) ] more

Resolved Question: Religious people, why do some people make assumptions based on a select few and also, what others to?

...assimilate to their lifestyle. I read and answered a question on here yesterday about why do Muslim women wear the head covering in America that they basically they need to get with our program over here. There were so many ignorant answers like "why would they come over here if they didn't want to follow our culture?" and "Give them time. They will eventually change to the American way of life." I asked them what the American way of life is!?! I thought this was a place for all cultures and religions to live together comfortably and peaceably. That this is not an anti-Muslim nation and all are welcome here. I told them it was self-centered to expect a whole group of people to change to YOUR way of life. And our self-centeredness and lack to fulfill our nation's promise and at least TRY to understand other cultures is why people hate America so much. I don't understand why people believe we have ONE culture over here!?! By their rationale, everytime they move, they should give up their culture and adopt someone else's. They also spoke about how "opressed" these women are and that the ALL of the men are "pigs". There are oppressed women in every group of people so why just single them out? Also, based on some of things they wrote, I seriously doubt most of them even know a Muslim person. I am an American, Christian, woman and I go to school with plenty of muslims especially women. They cover their bodies but they are happy and healthy. They are seeking their degree like everyone else (we are chemistry majors) so they can go to work, NOT stay at home and be abused by their husbands and fathers and raise a bunch of kids (like others want us to believe). Why do people act and think like this? Why do Americans especially want others to conform to the "American way", when I didn't even think we had one. Oppressed--typo--sorry more

Voting Question: Why do people think that they can make accurate comparisons between anti-semitism & racism?

How do people figure that Jews & Blacks face equal amounts of discrimination. Almost every Jew i have ever seen was White looking, so where does the discrimination come in. Jews assimilate into American society more than any other minority because they are almost White to begin with, and that allows them easier economic mobility. Even when Blacks mix with Whites they are still Black [like Obama] and they are still visible minorities. You cannot compare discrimination between a visible & a non-visible minority groupAnyone who thinks the 2 are the same is an idiot--i'm not even going to bother explaining to retards who don't get this more

Voting Question: Are We allowed to Say, “Iraq Was Invaded to Secure Israel”? i?

Are We allowed to Say, “Iraq Was Invaded to Secure Israel”? By Mark Weber July 16, 2004 When a prominent American political figure speaks boldly about Jewish-Zionist power, that's news. So the remarks by South Carolina's senior Senator in May 2004 that Iraq was invaded "to secure Israel," and that "everybody" in Washington knows it, are indeed remarkable. Ernest "Fritz" Hollings, a Democrat who has represented his state in the US Senate since 1966, is now serving his final term in Washington. That fact may also help explain why he's now willing to defy the pro-Israel lobby and speak candidly about its power. It began with an essay, headlined "Bush's Failed Mideast Policy is Creating More Terrorism," which appeared in the Charleston daily Post and Courier, May 6, 2004. "With Iraq no threat, why invade a sovereign country?," he wrote. "The answer: President Bush's policy to secure Israel. Led by [Paul] Wolfowitz, Richard Perle and Charles Krauthammer, for years there had been a domino school of thought that the way to guarantee Israel's security is to spread democracy in the area." Several Zionist organizations, as well as some prominent Jewish political figures, quickly chastised Hollings, and his remarks were denounced as anti-Semitic. But he didn't back down. Instead, he rose in the Senate on May 20 to defend and explain his essay. "I don't apologize for this column," he said. "I want them to apologize to me for talking about anti-Semitism." President Bush went to war in Iraq "to secure our friend, Israel" and "everybody knows it," Hollings declared. Referring to the cowardly reluctance of his Congressional colleagues openly to acknowledge this reality, he said that "nobody is willing to stand up and say what is going on." With few exceptions, members of Congress uncritically support Israel and its policies due to "the pressures that we get politically," he said. The pro-Israel lobby knows "how to make you tuck tail and run." But "not the Senator from South Carolina," he added, referring to himself. To emphasize the seriousness of his remarks, Hollings said: "I have thought this out as thoroughly as I know how, and it worries me that here we are..." Bush's motive in going to war for Israeli interests, Hollings charged, was to get Jewish support in election campaigns. "President Bush came to office imbued with one thought: reelection. I say that advisedly. I have been up here with eight Presidents. We have had support of all eight Presidents. Yes, I supported the President on this Iraq resolution, but I was misled. There weren't any weapons, or any terrorism, or al-Qaida. This is the reason we went to war. He had one thought in mind, and that was reelection... "That is not a conspiracy. That is the policy. I didn't like to keep it a secret, maybe; but I can tell you now, I will challenge any one of the other 99 Senators to tell us why we are in Iraq, other than what this policy is here. It is an adopted policy, a domino theory of The [Zionist] Project For The New American Century. Everybody knows it [is] because we want to secure our friend, Israel... "Let's realize we are in real trouble. Saudi Arabia is in trouble. Israel is in trouble. The United States is in trouble. I am going to state what I believe to be the fact. In fact, I believe it very strongly. They just are whistling by on account of the pressures that we get politically. Nobody is willing to stand up and say what is going on." Hollings cited the role of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the most important pro-Israel lobby group in Washington, in determining US policy in the Middle East. "You can't have an Israel policy other than what AIPAC gives you around here. I have followed them mostly in the main, but I have also resisted signing certain letters from time to time, to give the poor President a chance. "I can tell you no President takes office -- I don't care whether it is a Republican or a Democrat — that all of a sudden AIPAC will tell him exactly what the policy is, and Senators and members of Congress ought to sign letters. I read those carefully and I have joined in most of them. On some I have held back. I have my own idea and my own policy..." The Iraq war has been "a bad mistake," said Hollings. "Getting rid of Saddam was not worth almost 800 dead GIs and over 3,500 maimed for life..." This war is "a mistake like Vietnam," he added. "We got misled with the [1964] Gulf of Tonkin [incident]. We got misled here, and we are in that quagmire... "The entire thing is a mess. Don't give me 'support the troops, support the troops.' I have been with troops, about three years in combat, so don't tell me about troops. I have always supported the troops." ________________________________________ Source: Remarks by Ernest F. Resolved Question: Will Obama send troops to Venzuela to assist his Leftist buddy Hugo Chavez to help him invade Columbia?

Even as Barack Obama continues to consider deploying more U.S. troops to Afghanistan, another conflict involving U.S. soldiers has been intensifying in Washington’s own backyard. Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez has recently exceeded his traditional incendiary anti-American rhetoric with talk of war with neighbouring Colombia, a long-time U.S. ally which since 2000 has hosted U.S. troops as part of an anti-drug effort. Chávez has gone so far as to mass 15,000 soldiers on his border with Colombia, where in recent weeks there has been a spate of slayings related to tensions between Venezuelan and Colombian paramilitary groups. http://www2.macleans.ca/2009/11/24/chavez-on-the-warpath/ more

Resolved Question: Why do Google and some Americans confuse "free speech" with what is obvious racism?

in ref to: http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-google-obama25-2009nov25,0,98932.story This is not a simple matter of where do we draw the line on censorship. This is a matter of the distortion of rights. It's INTENTION that reveals racism, and racism is a form of violence. The news article says an image (manipulated to make the face of Michelle Obama look like a monkey) was posted on a blog called "Hot Girls" (may have been removed), but currently the website linked to the gross image is a forum that's ridiculously over-the-top anti-government. The thread that was supposed to have contained the image reads like it was written by a Timothy McVeigh, or maybe the person you'd see at a G8 summit riot. Big quotes from civil rights leaders and news of their assasinations, lots of talk about "globalist pigs" and the government using "psychotechnology," mind control programs, social engineering, etc. The moderators of the forum apparently removed the image because it's no longer there, but Google thinks it's appropriate to leave it up on image search, apparently in the name of freedom of speech. About Google blogs from the news article: "Rubin [Google spokesperson] said Blogger users have to adhere to the site's terms of service, including a ban on hate speech, which the agreement defines as "content that promotes hate or violence towards groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status or sexual orientation/gender identity. ...a determination of hate speech, under company terms, would heavily rely on whether a site was 'attacking or advocating attacks on a person.' 'An image alone may not provide enough context to constitute a violation of the policies,' he added. A different website containing the same altered image of Obama was banned by Google several days ago, but only because the site was deemed to contain malware that could spread a virus or similar online malady. When a site is dropped from Google's index, the search engine will not present it as a result." --The spreading of a computer virus is intentionally inflicting harm, and this is the same intention with the manipulation of an African-American's face into that of a monkey. It would be sheer ignorance to not know in American culture that this image is intended to do harm. Google is allowing people to spread harm through the Internet, in support of people who don't understand what racism is. This is not simply about "freedom." It's freedom without responsibility. Even Yahoo Answers realizes you can't just let all people say whatever they want without there being consequences for what is obviously intended to be harmful! Why do some Americans believe that the "right" of free speech gives them the "right" to engage in a form of violence and racism and cause obvious harm? Do they just think there's no such thing as racism?Dan: Racism is not making fun of the "Hill Billie." Do you understand what racism is? It's a form of violence against African Americans. It's not INTENDED to be funny, it is intended to inflict harm.FleetTech: You're suggesting racism shouldn't be disturbing in a culture that so values freedom? Absolutely wrong. Racism is just as wrong as any inflicted harm. more
