The culprit was later identified as a soldier from the American Armed Forces. Let us analyze this allegation of ‘fundamentalism’ and ‘terrorism’: 1. Definition of the word ‘fundamentalist’ A fundamentalist is a person who follows and adheres to the fundamentals of the doctrine or theory he is following. For a person to be a good doctor, he should know, follow, and practise the fundamentals of medicine. In other words, he should be a fundamentalist in the field of medicine. For a person to be a good mathematician, he should know, follow and practise the fundamentals of mathematics. He should be a fundamentalist in the field of mathematics. For a person to be a good scientist, he should know, follow and practise the fundamentals of science. He should be a fundamentalist in the field of science. 2. Not all ‘fundamentalists’ are the same One cannot paint all fundamentalists with the same brush. One cannot categorize all fundamentalists as either good or bad. Such a categorization of any fund amentalist will depend upon the field or activity in which he is a fundamentalist. A fundamentalist robber or thief causes harm to society and is therefore undesirable. A fundamentalist doctor, on the other hand, benefits society and earns much respect. 3. I am proud to be a Muslim fundamentalist I am a fundamentalist Muslim who, by the grace of Allah, knows, follows and strives to practise the fundamentals of Islam. A true Muslim does not shy away from being a fundamentalist. I am proud to be a fundamentalist Muslim because, I know that the fundamentals of Islam are beneficial to humanity and the whole world. There is not a single fundamental of Islam that causes harm or is against the interests of the human race as a whole. Many people harbour misconceptions about Islam and consider several teachings of Islam to be unfair or improper. This is due to insufficient and incorrect knowledge of Islam. If one critically analyzes the teachings of Islam with an open mind, one cannot escape the fact that Islam is full of benefits both at the individual and collective levels. 4. Dictionary meaning of the word ‘fundamentalist’ According to Webster’s dictionary ‘fundamentalism’ was a movement in American Protestanism that arose in the earlier part of the 20th century. It was a reaction to modernism, and stressed the infallibility of the Bible, not only in matters of faith and morals but also as a literal historical record. It stressed on belief in the Bible as the literal word of God. Thus fundamentalism was a word initially used for a group of Christians who believed that the Bible was the verbatim word of God without any errors and mistakes. According to the Oxford dictionary ‘fundamentalism’ means ‘strict maintenance of ancient or fundamental doctrines of any religion, especially Islam’. Today the moment a person uses the word fundamentalist he thinks of a Muslim who is a terrorist. 5. Every Muslim should be a terrorist Every Muslim should be a terrorist. A terrorist is a person who causes terror. The moment a robber sees a policeman he is terrified. A policeman is a terrorist for the robber. Similarly every Muslim should be a terrorist for the antisocial elements of society, such as thieves, dacoits and rapists. Whenever such an anti-social element sees a Muslim, he should be terrified. It is true that the word ‘terrorist’ is generally used for a person who causes terror among the common people. But a true Muslim should only be a terrorist to selective people i.e. anti-social elements, and not to the common innocent people. In fact a Muslim should be a source of peace for innocent people.6. Different labels given to the same individual for the same action, i.e. ‘terrorist’ and ‘patriot’ Before India achieved independence from British rule, some freedom fighters of India who did not subscribe to non-violence were labeled as terrorists by the British government. The same individuals have been lauded by Indians for the same activities and hailed as ‘patriots’. Thus two different labels have been given to the same people for the same set of actions. One is calling him a terrorist while the other is calling him a patriot. Those who believed that Britain had a right to rule over India called these people terrorists, while those who were of the view that Britain had no right to rule India called them patriots and freedom fighters.It is therefore important that before a person is judged, he is given a fair hearing. Both sides of the argument should be heard, the situation should be analyzed, and the reason and the intention of the person should be taken into account, and then the person can be judged accordingly. 7. Islam means peace Islam is derived from the word ‘salaam’ which means peace. It is a religion of peace whose fundamentals teach its followers to maintain and promote peace throughout the world. Thus every Muslim should be a fundamentalist i.e. he should follow the fundamentals of the Religion of Peace: Islam. He should be a terrorist only towards the antisocial elements in order to promote peace and justice in the society. more

Hello my american friends! A few months ago I moved to your strange country from lovely Russia. I moved to New York, to be exactly. At the moment things are going good, but there are still a lot of things I don't understand. So lets start. I love your weather. It is nice. So you always can talk a walk for example to the beach. But at the point there starts problem one! Your beatches in America seem to be strange. They don't respect you and show love to you like russian woman. Your american beatches seem not to honour men here in America as much as in russia. Your woman are a bit rude and not nice at all. They even do jobs that take more than a brain of the half size as a men has. This is not good at all. Woman are supposed to watch the baby, cook something, clean up the room and maybe give handsex. But not to do jobs that are made for men. This is wrong in my opionion. So lets start with question 1: What is the best place to go girlhunting near New York? My second point would be the big city. I have to talk long walks. It takes ages. It makes me tired. The bus is full. When the sun is shining it is even worse. You can't breath in a bus that is so full. So if a want to visit the beach or go to the drining bar I have to take the bus or take a horrible long walk. So I thought about getting a car. But thats a huge problem in America. I can't get russian car in your country. I only can get your not with love made, soulless plastic cars. I don't like your cars. The have no feeling, they are uncomfortable and they damage the environment. I would like to have a russian car here. Because russian cars are awesome. They have a soul and a heart. They are comfortable. And no plastic tools. Some of your cars are even made to spread propaganda! The woman show only respect to the russian cars. Because its beautifull. Voting Question: When was there ever a "special relationship" between the UK and USA?

I find it funny and ironic that some Americans are really showing their hatred on here towards the UK and blaming my country for the BP crisis. I did some digging and found that one British journalist couldn't see any anti-Brit placards or propaganda really happening over there and this is a recent story. However there never was a special relationship between our two countries, Britain was the USA's lapdog and the sooner some realise, the better it is all round. There is no need to hate all British people for a horrible tragedy, it comes across as uneducated, evil and somewhat ignorant! It just shows that some Americans think that British people aren't worth anything, does that mean the troops in Afghan and Iraq too? I don't hate the USA or even Obama, but think this is going out of control and could be a media hyped up story. I'm one of these people who while defending israel's right to self defense, I find myself asking why so many Jews are behind most the destructive, anti-capitalist movements worldwide. Although I do not believe in conspiracy theories, clearly Jews are behind most the radical marxist propaganda that has caused much of the downfall of western society today. They have used school boards and the media to spread their marxist bile for generations. May Day rallies staged in Manhattan back in the 1950s were almost all organized by and for the jews, some American born some from europe. My impression is Israel is far more democratic than the American jew, but politics aside, how can those who purport to support gay rights, women's rights and other forms of liberal ideology vilify the only country in the Middle East which exemplifies those virtues? To me, Israel stands for freedom, individuality and the free market. The tea partiers were using the school (supported by their tax dollars) for a meeting and have admitted to tearing down an un-American poster which depicted "the history of the US labor movement." The patriots also opened some boxes while looking for more anti-American propaganda and inside one of them they found very biased copies of the Constitution written by the ACLU. They deny man is responsible for climate change; or, if we are responsible, they deny we can do anything about it. It sounds crazy, but if you talk to these people, that’s how they feel. They actually fear divine punishment if we overstep our bounds and infringe on God’s turf. And that’s not just wacky Bible thumpers ranting on a public sidewalk; it’s Bible Belt Senators in Washington, D.C., moving heaven and earth to try and drag us back to the Dark Ages. When millionaire televangelist Pat Robertson told his clone army that the earthquake in Haiti was divine punishment for a “pact with the devil,” it was partially because he desperately needed to see the Hand of God behind the earthquake. It wasn’t the random slippage of tectonic plates, it was a goose by the Divine Planeteer. Why would God decide to kill 200,000 people? He must’ve had a darn good reason; how about a national pact with the devil? Religious fanatics are zealous in pursuit of their agenda, and don’t know the meaning of moderation. John gets up at 5 a.m. and fills his coffeepot with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean and good because some evil corporation developed water purification methods. He takes his daily meds, which exist because some soulless corporation developed them--a corporation that ensures their safety not because of tree-huggers but because satisfied customers are good for business. His meds are very expensive because of liberal unions sucking money out of the system to fund liberal politics. I'm a White guy and I try to sympathize with Black people. I'm not saying that Black people should get away with murder but I do think about what they have been through in the past between slavery and the civil rights movement. While most African-Americans did not suffer through slavery per se, I can understand why some of them would revert to slavery. In America, there was a lot of anti-Black propaganda being spread around. America did make Black people appear as if they were subhuman and not equal to White people. So that mentality was passed down from generation to generation by both White people and Black people because thinking patterns can be difficult to break and change. Which is probably why today there are some Black and White people who feel bitter towards each other. I notice most of the Black who revert to slavery and the White people who are prejudiced against Black people are from the older generation. I guess what I'm asking is, should I think about what Black people have been through every time a Black person brings up slavery and racism? Or should I think about it when it counts? Sometimes I think I cut Black people a break because even though not ALL Black people in this country went through slavery, slavery is still a large and unfortunate part of their history. I think Black people get angry when people just say "We know about slavery" and just dismiss it. I can see some Jewish people being upset too if people dismissed and trivialized the holocaust too. I think Black people just want more people to understand what they went through more deeply and empathize. Am I wrong? Will more Black people become at ease more if White people and other people sympathize with them more? I realize that ALL people at some point were DISCRIMINATED against but I still think Black people got the worst of it.When I say "sympathize" I don't mean giving Black people a ton of government money and bringing affirmative action back. Did anyone ever see the movie? I know someone in my family who feels that Black soldiers in World War II should get their recognition but they also think that if White people watch the movie, they will loose sight of all the White soldiers who fought and died in World War II and I would just be focused on how the U.S. forces were segregated back then. I have to admit, when I watch Miracle At St. Anna, I do feel a little extra sorry for Black and other minority soldiers in that time because they were discriminated against. I've seen movies like Saving Private Ryan and Band Of Brothers and while I admire their (the White soldiers) sacrifice, I do tend to sympathize more with the soldiers of minorities because they had a lot of other issues to deal with in America. I know the part when the soldiers were looking at the posters in Italy that spread anti-Black propaganda was powerful. That part brought tears to my eyes.
