Resolved Question: What is the Best Computer Security Software on the market 2010 that money can buy?
It is more popular for people to download free Computer Security programs, however, if someone is looking for a security software that does everything you need to have done for the best security that anyone can offer with unlimited funds to purchase this product, what would the tech world recommend? I have browsed through hundreds of Anti-Virus, Spyware, Adware, Malware, Trojan Horse, Bots, Rootkit Protection, Internet Security, Email Scanners, Everything, and I have found that Every product even if they charge hundreds of dollars for the product, they all say they are the best. And a lot of these products seem to do all the same things. There's Norton, AVG, Avast, Ad-Aware, Avira, Spybot, Emsisoft, on and on and on... But if you had all the money in the world to spend on a product does it make a difference to purchase, or do the free software programs compare? If you where to say, that purchasing a product was going to give me more features, then what is the best product that unlimited funds can buy? Please, I know everyone has their own opinions, and often times, the common user uses a free protection software. This is not what I am looking for. I am looking for a professional opinion, that doesnt have a corporate software developer in there pocket. I am looking for IT professionals to express what money can buy for the best total protection. moreResolved Question: What software can I download to remove rootkit viruses for free?
Okay so I have A LOT of serious viruses and I'm accessing the internet in safe mode at the moment. I keep having error messages preventing me from using any of my programs. Which includes my Super Anti Spyware and Malware Bytes. I've always relied on these programs because they not only scan but they also remove all the infections on my computer. I've searched high and low and can't find any virus removal programs that will remove my viruses for free other than the ones I have that the virus won't let me access. I really don't want to re install my computer because I would lose everything. Please give me some software programs that will scan and REMOVE all the trojans, rootkits, malware, adware, and parasites that I have hidden in my computer. its six yo, has 59% free space avail. It takes five minutes to fully load/start up. I have uninstalled unused software and bad software. I removed 2000 or so photos and a cpl hundred docs/files. I try to run scan disk and it doesn't get past compressing old files. Defrag either doesn't need it or doesn't make a bit of difference. I have a current AVG full lic soft on it and it scans daily (I know during the scan the comp will be slow). I run adware, spyware, reg fixer etc to clean and check in those areas, and usually they come back clean (except reg fixer, it usually shows a laundry list of errors). Overall opening a program take eons, the internet is terribly slow (and it is wireless). I checked startup to remove any programs not needed as well as shut down programs once the comp is started that are not needed. Oh and there is a constant bad internet porn habit (since day one). Not sure what all takes place, mainly vids and pics is my guess, don't know if things are downloaded from sites etc, maybe in the beginning, but wouldn't my anti virus soft catch that? So is there something else I can do? Is the computer infected or trashed? Just buy a new one? What can I do to revive this one for say the kiddos to use for their cdrom games? Thanks for your help. moreResolved Question: Need help with a virus, Win XP?
Help, caught virus, Win XP, avast not detecting it? I was looking for news(I swear it wasnt porn lol) and suddenly a virus downloaded to my computer as soon as I opened the website I found with google. It was letting me very obviously know it was there. It started popping windows telling me I got infected and wanting me to download their software. After few attempts to download free version of avast (that dint work because the virus blocked all internet websites besides the one it wanted me to download from) I pulled the internet cord out. I went on my husbands Mac and downloaded the Avast from there and put it on memory stick. I installed it on my comp. First I ran a quick scan which didnt detect anything. Then I ran complete system scan and that didnt detect anything neither. So I connected the internet plug and in a rush I downloaded an update for avast and then unplugged it again. I rant the scan one more time and again, no threats detected. What should I do? Is there anything besides wiping the system clean? Like some good antivirus? Also I downloaded anti-spyware programs and tried to run those. This virus is blocking all executable files, I cannot open them. Ut does notlet me run even windows task manager. As soon as I ctrl alt delete, it pops a windows saying that program is infected and cannot be executed. Same thing when I try to run or install the antispyware. Also to add to it, the recomended malwarebytes.org software cannot be run, the virus won't let it. moreResolved Question: Hey need a little more help. Security tool virus is still trippin on my pc.?
.Back story: I downloaded some game, got Security Tool virus and maybe others. Did some research, read I should download a security scan, then, malwarebytes, then antis-pyware, or try to manually remove the virus(es) or buy anti-spyware/removal like AVG and let them do it. Well first I tried downloading a scan and malwarebytes, but only after restarting my computer in safe mode was I able to run the programs. Then I did a system restore.????? And no sign of the virus but I wonder if u do that, does Security Tool reallly completely go away? and not show up disguised with its files. Anyway I did the first two steps,(wish I knew how to it manually do it) Now recently took my hp windows 7 desktop to geek sqaud (because of security tool,) They ran a free diognostics and said they found some viruses, and wanted me to pay 200 dollars for them to fix it. I said no cause I would like to fix it manually first, then if that don't work, buy good, fairly inexpensive security software with nice warranty/coverage/and support and that won't slow down my pc.But I also read I would have to Disguise/change the new securtiy program or files to prevent any viruses from detecting and blocking it? ls this neccasary? If so how do I it? (And will TREND MICRO ANTIVIRUS + ATISPYWARE CD work.) Hey need a little more help.THANK YOU! moreResolved Question: can i get free malware/spyware?
I just recently found out that the reason I'm not able to navigate or go online with my laptop computer is because I have a bunch of crapware on it, somehow the anti-virus program got deleted and I can't go online to download a new program straight to the laptop so is there any way that I can get a free download of a good anti-malware/antispyware program on my home desktop and maybe save it to a disk and then download it to the laptop? I'm a full time student with no prospects of having any money anytime soon ( sept 14) or I would just buy software anybody have any ideas? All great tips thank you much appreciated, but the computer CAN NOT GO ONLINE!! Lol even in safe mode I can't establish a connection is there any way to save files from any of these programs on to a disk? the cd-rom drive is one of the few parts that are still workin, thanx= ) moreVoting Question: I got a message saying there may be a virus attacking my computer, what should I do?
Sorry my previous message wasnt quite clear. I appreciate all the suggestions made. This is the progress so far. I have a warning saying 'Antivirus software alert Inflitration alert Your computer is being attacked by an internet virus. It could be a password-stealing attack, a trojan - dropper or similar Details Attack from:212.4.196.201, port 27658 Attacked port:30660 Threat: Win32/Nuqel.E It then says do you want to block this attack. I havnt clicked anything because I'm scared if I go through the links the scan itself may be the virus that will effect the computer. I tried going through Windows firewall see if I could work my way through anything but a message popped up saying 'Application cannot be executed. The file rundll32.exe is infected. Also once every couple minutes a pornsite pops up, I exit out straight away and another message pops up saying 'Your computer is infected by spyware - 34 serious threats have been found while scanning your files and registry. It is strongly recommended that you disinfect your computer and activate realtime secure protection against future intrusions. 22 minutes ago Im also scared to buy any virus protection as I'd have to put my credit card details on the internet... I tried downloading the free trial of AVG but a message popped up saying 'Application cannot be exexuted. The file avg etc etc is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus now 19 minutes ago I would of thought there was anti virus protection on here, but it seems not. When I went through Windows security center it said that virus protection was not found. Why would all these antivirus software alerts come up if theres no virus protection in the first place... :S 15 minutes ago SO I TRIED ALL THE TRIALS EVERYONE HAS RECOMMENDED BUT THEY KEEP GETTING BLOCKED OUT :( I'M SUCH A DRAMA QUEEN BUT I THINK WHATEVER THIS THING IS IS STARTING TO EAT INTO MY COMPUTER, I CANT EVEN OPEN MICROSOFT WORD ANYMORE :-S moreResolved Question: what is the best free anti virus software?

Hi, recently my Comodo Firewall protection detected a process called b.exe and moved it into the sandbox, I had no idea what it was so I left comodo to deal with it in the sandbox. That was a few weeks ago. A few days ago the same b.exe tried to start up again and again comodo moved it to the sandbox, but now it will keep bringing up the same thing every hour or so so as in b.exe will try to start and comodo will try to move it to the sandbox. Only for the same process to repeat again. I did a search for b.exe on google and read up on it being a trojan that plays random sounds at random times, and attacks your anti malware software. I have not had anything that extreme yet but am extremely concerned that it may start to get that bad and the constant pop up from comodo is annoying in itself when browsing the web. I have searched for it in pretty much every file on my laptop but it is either really well hidden or called something else. It does not show up in my process list on task manager so I am confused at where the hell it keeps coming from! I have tried doing a scan with super anti spyware which does not find anything.A real time and boot time scan with my avast free edition anti virus software turned up nothing. Malwarebytes scan also turned up nothing. I have looked all over the internet for a way to remove this annoying trojan but there are so many different tools recommended to download and use that I do not know which to trust and which to not. Is there a way to remove this without downloading yet more anti spyware and malware protection? and if not which ones will actually get rid of b.exe and not just clutter up my system. Thanks in advance moreResolved Question: Free virus programs other than Malwarebytes and Anti-Spyware?
So what's a really good anti-virus program to have? Oddly my battery charges only half way these days and my net is very wonky. It barely loads, my browsers crash and a couple of other annoying hiccups. Yes, I have Vista but I'm not looking to change my OS since I've never had problems with my laptop before (it's been two years now). I think I have a virus because I take great care of my battery. I use it only when I'm in places where there is no socket readily available. I also take good care of my laptop and freak out if anyone tries to touch it because I'm worried they'll hurt it. I kept seeing people suggest Malwarebytes and Anti-Spyware so I've downloaded both programs but my system is apparently clean. Then again with free-software I guess the search won't be as thorough and extensive so I'm looking for other programs or a solution. Any suggestions? I've had this problem for about 5 months now. I don't know why or how it happened because I'm very careful about what programs I use. moreResolved Question: free antivirus software? help plz?
I have AV Security Suite virus, and in order to remove it one of the websites told me to download Spyware Doctor, i ran a scan and found all the threats, however it is telling me to purchase it in order to remove them. I used Malwarebytes anti-malware, however it didnt work at all. Is there a free antivirus software other than malwarebytes which will remove this virus from my computer for free?I have tried every guide... nothing has worked so far. I had to manually delete the registry keys listed on one of the guides but i didnt manage to delete all of them... even tho my computer is acting normally right now, some of the virus is still in there, thats why i need something to remove them. moreResolved Question: Adware/Spyware Removal?
My friend's laptop has the Anti virus Soft Platinum installed. This software is preventing any other anti virus program on her computer to work. I have tried to install the AVG free software, but it keeps telling me to uninstall the Anti virus Soft Platinum software, but it doesn't show up in the add/remove programs. I have used windows defender, Microsoft windows malicious software removal tool, and Microsoft security essentials software and none of these programs detected the Anti virus Soft Platinum software. I did download spyware doctor and it scanned the computer and found 100 hits of spyware, but the program will not remove the adware/spyware unless I pay for it. I never brought that kind of software before, usually if I get adware/spyware on my computer I just zap it and reload it. I'm thinking that's the best thing to do for my friend but she really doesn't want me too. So any suggestions would be great. moreResolved Question: What is a guaranteed safe / virus-free website that I can use to download addons for World of Warcraft?
I've recently reactivated my WoW account after a five-month "voluntary" break, and am interested in getting addons. However, fears derived from my experience with a website that offers addons interferes with my ability to acquire them. About five months ago, I went to curse.com - a website which I had heard great things about concerning addons from several sources (all of which I trusted and still do trust) - and downloaded the Curse Client, as well as the addon Recount. I found this addon to be majorly helpful, but several hours after downloading it I received a message on my computer saying (paraphrasing) "DANGER! YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED!" CLICK HERE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM!" In all my years of experience with computers, I've never had this happen, so my natural reaction was to panic. My father (who has a degree in Information Technology, thankfully) was able to solve the problem and told me that my computer in fact did not acquire a virus, but would have had I done anything to "fix" the problem. I'd like to be able to find an addon website that is free of viruses (and the potential for viruses), so are there any suggestions? And, if curse.com and the Curse Client are in fact safe to use, what can be done to prevent this in the future? Important information: 1) My computer has anti-virus software, anti-spyware software, a personal firewall, and anti-spam. It had all of these protections in place five months ago, from a trusted website (these were installed personally by my father, who I trust with my computer more than I trust myself with it). 2) The website I went to was definitely www.curse.com and not a malicious website of similar name. 3) I've never encountered anybody personally who has had this issue with curse.com. 4) I did not run a scan prior to or following the Recount download (though I should not have had to). 5) I downloaded Recount successfully through the Curse Client, and both the addon and the Curse Client are still on my computer (though I have neither touched nor updated the Curse Client since the incident five months ago). moreResolved Question: Why do Anti Virus and Anti Spyware companies offer FREE software?
I'm talking about the actual full packages you can download for free, not just the 30-day trial things. How do these people make money, is it just so they can try to make you buy their other packages which are better or something? It's just that I heared some people say that sometimes the free packages are actually better than the paid for ones, so if that is true why one Earth would anyone pay for something that they can get for free and better?antivirus tips and info: http://merakit-komputer.com http://merakit-komputer.com http://merakit-komputer.com moreResolved Question: Why is this happening?!?!? computer help?

Hey guys, the reason why I'm asking is because 1 week ago my computer caught a virus that didn't let me get onto the internet, I had to ask my friend who is an IT to fix it for me, and he did it for free and he said he had found 71 viruses on my computer and he completely fixed the problem. Managing to save everything on my pc. However, I'm thinking the reason this happened was because I was without an AV protection system on my laptop for like 3 months. I used to have Avast, and somehow I deleted it because I was annoyed at the updates it made everyday. Now I know it is important to have an AV on your computer. However, I never got rid of Super-Anti Spyware OR Malwarebytes. When I caught the virus I ran both of these programs and they didn't detect a single thing. For my friend to say that I had 71 viruses freaked me out... why didnt these programs detect anything? I can understand that they missed some, but all of them?? When he gave me my laptop back he recommended AVG (a free AV too) and said he had never heard of aveira or avast. I heard that Avast was better than AVG so I downloaded it again, paired it with Threatfire, but am now wondering if I should actually pay for a better quality Anti-Virus software. I cant remember what he used, but that's what he does for a living he fixes computers and what not. So he didnt have a hard time doing it. I just dont want to have to bug him with this problem anymore... sorry was long. I just wanted to explain my situation in detail. If you guys think what I have should be good, then I guess I'll stick to it. But if it does nothing then I'd rather delete this stuff and pay good money for something that will keep my laptop running. So is the combination of Avast, Threatfire, Super-anti-Spyware & Malwarebytes any good? I've had this stupid virus before and I guess I've had it "prematurely" or something? Because my computer was functioning just fine, I could open and use programs, files, etc. and it was only the pop-ups that bothered me. And using Malwarebytes, I got rid of it pretty easily. But now it's back and I think it might have done a lot more damage because I left my computer on overnight and now all I can open is Firefox. I can't open my Anti-Spyware program at all! Nothing will open because a pop-up comes up that says, "Security Warning: Application cannot be executed. The file ... is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?" Please, help. On internet today there are many different threats to consider, viruses can be hidden everywhere and can be transferred through email, USB, Software and internet sites, but the best protection you got against these is Common Sense, you should never open emails which are considered spam, enter sites which got a suspicious name unless your running sandbox mode. Question: There are many different kind off protection you should consider, but there are so many different kinds off software, so which is the best? Answer: There is no "THE BEST" anti virus or anti malware, but some are better then others. It is dependent on how you use it and what you preffer Payed Anti Virus: - Kaspersky Anti Virus ( You can also buy this with Internet Security including different features) - Comodo Anti Virus ( You can also buy this with Internet Security including different features) - Eset Anti Virus «Nod32» ( You can also buy this with Internet Security which is called Eset Smart Security) - Bit Defender - Avast ( You can also buy this with Internet Security including different features, I think) If you are unsure of whetever to download a software most off these will have a "sandbox" mode meaning it will download the software in a virtual envirnment meaning if the file is containing a malicious item it cant harm your PC - Avira (Effective Anti Virus, pretty similar to Avast) - Norton Anti Virus 2010 (Norton has earlier been a overpriced inefficent anti virus but with their new 2010 edition their really impressing me with good detection rate and should be consider a very good anti virus) Free Anti Virus: - Microsoft Security Essentials - Avast Free - Avira free - Comodo Anti Virus - Avg (Biggest Free Anti Virus, but it's not one off my favorites and it is supposed to be highly inefficent) There are many Anti Viruses on the market today, people are taking sides and people are saying their Anti Virus is the best, tests always vary and its up to what you preffer yourself, the one's listed in this guide is amongst the most popular and all are efficent in their own way. Anti Viruses today always have an in-built Anti Malware engine, many off these are efficent in one way or the other but your protection is way below what you would get if you had a 3rd party Anti Spyware/Malware program, You can run all these Programs listed below togheter, though my Personal Favorite is Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware. Payed Anti Malware - SuperAntiSpyware pro - Malwarebytes pro - SpyBot Search&Destroy Free anti malware/spyware - Malwarebytes - Spybot Search&Destroy - SuperantiSpyware (Got more suggestions, post them, but suggest good software) Additional protection: You also got other types off protection, a very important part off your protection is your firewall, it will let you control what applications are allowed access to the internet and other actions. Firewalls: Windows Firewall (Effective, standard with Windows) Comodo Firewall (Comodo.com) Zone Alarm Firewall (Zone Alarm.com) Links are located below: Payed Anti Virus: - Bitdefender.com - Kaspersky.com - Eset.com (Their Free antivirus is Nod32) - Avast.com - Avira.com - Norton.com - Comodo.com (Very easy to navigate) Free Anti Virus: - microsoft.com/security_essentials/mark… - Avast.com - Avira.com - Comodo.com - Avg.com Payed Anti Malware/Spyware - Malwarebytes.com - Superantispyware.com (Superadblocker.com too I think) - http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html Free AntiMalware: - http://download.cnet.com/Spybot-Search-amp-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html - Malwarebytes.com - SuperAntiSpyware.com Web Browser: - FireFox - Google Chrome - Opera - Comodo Dragon (Actually a very very secure browser but with a Plug-In FireFox is supposed to be the most secure browser There is also one last thing to remmember, in order for your protection to be at it's very peak I would reccomend you check for updates ones a week, as thousands off Viruses comes out every day, the need for a updated system is very high. Personal Response: Most or all off these programs are great, though these will not give you a everlasting protection, thousands off viruses are found every day, keeping your programs up to date is vital. You will also need a small portion off common sense and doubt, if you by any means see a spam mail with a link to a site, I would not open it, I would rather leave it tf safe on the Internet: I can see many different types off suggestions to Anti Viruses on this site, therefor I decided to make this guide, I will list some few populare programs. On internet today there are many different threats to consider, viruses can be hidden everywhere andBecause SpyBot is paid you have both Pro and Free. This is not just my tougths, its based on tests, and their very effective in General :), Comodo is not terrible yet it is highly effective though yes its Virus scan is really suckish xD. Please don't give me grammar responds, then your really fucked up, give me responds such as other "GOOD" programs or additional details to thisIf you got any suggestions how to improve this, feel free to add my msn or email me at glenn_Vitti@hotmail.com, and we could perhaps discuss a more comprehensive guide? If you got any suggestions how to improve this, feel free to add my msn or email me at glenn_Vitti@hotmail.com, and we could perhaps discuss a more comprehensive guide?-.-, sorry but cant edit away that annoying double post :).ZoneAlarm is a good Firewall http://www.matousec.com/projects/proactive-security-challenge/results.php This site is not a good site to take facts from seeming it does some weirdo tests and really gives false results. + Comodo gets top marks there -..- moreResolved Question: How can I get rid of viruses attacking my computer?
So I just got a brand new computer running on Windows 7 and was in the process of surfing the web, checking my email, and looking at the new features of 7 compared to XP. So currently, my computer had little to no anti-spyware/virus programs because I just got it, and I'm going on a search engine and am in the process of typing in something when suddenly the Windows Security Center thing pops up saying 'You have 49 malicious programs ...' and all the other stuff (yes, it said 49). So then it said, 'We strongly recommend that you buy Windows Security Center to remove all malicious programs' and I went on it and tried to buy it, but my credit card wouldn't work. So then I ran a sweep with the free McAffee anti-virus program to see if that would help, but after the sweep was done, it said everything was fine (even though Windows has a pop-up coming up every ten seconds about the various viruses trying to get into my files). So then I was really confused, and went on the internet to download the AVG Free program to check and see what AVG would say, but my computer won't let me download it because when the download with finished another pop-up arrives saying something like ' x virus is trying to transfer your credit card details and other passwords to a remote server using the AVG download'. I then press 'continue unprotected' and nothing happens anyways (and I search my harddrive for AVG and nothing comes up). Then I try Spy Sweeper and ran their free sweep, and the sweep came and started, but when it ended, it just ended without saying anything. So the current situation is: I have 49 malicious programs attacking my computer, I cannot get to any anti-virus software, and my desktop picture has already dissapeared from the screen. ~I also tried running AVG from a USB key with the copied files from another computer onto that computer, but it didn't work... What should I be doing right now, and what should I do to get the viruses off my computer? Any advice and help will be greatly appreciated. moreResolved Question: IS MICRO SOFT SECURITY ESSENTIALS A COMPLETE ANTI VIRUS?

Recently I was on a website where a virus threat appeared out of nowhere and I feel worried by this latest threat. I was then sent to the anti-spyware scan on Windows Internet Explorer and a scanning process was performed; it discovered threats on document folders and hard drives. The red labeling said "Your computer could be infected". But I have the AVG Free 9.0 software that scans for viruses and other threats by itself and I have no idea that anything out of the ordinary could appear when nothing goes wrong on the Internet - ever. I want to have a full system cleanup but I'm not sure if that's going to work. I already have the AVG software installed on my PC and I don't want to download any more security programs unless I want to. And with the Windows Security Alert that already detected trojans and ready to remove them, I'm unsure about the effectiveness of cleaning up the computer with downloading software that may or may not be safe. I don't know how often such scans would appear out of nowhere when I'm anywhere on the Web (I was on Photobucket when I discovered it), but if I don't want to see that again, then I must not go back to using Internet Explorer again. On Mozilla Firefox I never run across such scans. And I use a laptop but not a regular computer with the monitor regularly. What do I do if I unintentionally run into anti-spyware scans that I may or may not trust? If I ever trust them would I do what I'm instructed to do? If I don't trust such alerts would I lose protection of my PC forever? moreResolved Question: What Is The Best Free Anti-Virus Software For My Laptop?

WDefender won't run!?
Ok so I was on a website that was probably not very safe, and then all of sudden my computer was flooded with message of a trojan virus. Later on it asked me to download a anti spyware program after all my windows defenses had mysteriously shut down and I had no way of turning them back on. Later I tried to download AVG and other free antispyware programs they wouldn't download. The virus shuts down my windows when I go on sites with potential anti virus capabilities. I've asked my mother to help but she doesn't want to spend any money. I don't know what to do, soon this virus will ruin my computer we'd just purchased in october and force us to buy a new which will noooot happen. This virus shuts me down unexpectedly, and also spreads through wireless networks as it has on my mother's laptop. I don't know what to do!!! If I go to geek squad will they help us out? it's only about 3 days old is there still time? Help me please!!!!! OH and it's also let in multiple viruses and fast. Can't Install Anti-Virus Software? I tried installing AVG free on my friends Computer (XP). When trying to install AVG it came up with an error message something like " AVG can not detect an internet connection". When trying to access the AVG website, it does not load. I later found that other known anti-virus websites like McAfee and Norton are also not loading even though we can access the rest of the internet. Every now and then the computer will freeze and will only shut down by turning the power off. I have installed spy-bot and it has found spyware, which we fixed BUT I think there is a virus in the computer and I cant install software to remove it. I also tried to continue the installation in Safe Mode but with the same error message. I've downloaded the entire 72mb AVG file onto my USB drive along with Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware to take to his house and try on his computer. Any ideas guys? The version of windows used on the PC is Windows XP Home Edition. The viruses prevent me from downloading software from the internet that has to do with removing viruses. I transferred many antivirus software programs from another computer to the infected PC. So far I tried most of the free antivirus/anti-malware software available: AVG, A-Squared, avast!, Ad-Aware, Avira, and Spyware Doctor. Some of the antivirus programs failed to work because the viruses stopped them from accessing the internet to get updated. Other antivirus programs, Ad-Aware by Lavasoft and AVIRA, recognized the viruses and allowed me to click the delete button, but a message came up that the viruses can only be deleted by restarting the computer. After restarting the computer, the viruses were still there. I scanned the PC with Avira, and after scanning for hidden malware, it showed me the names of the bundled trojans located in C:\windows\system32\drivers\tdssmqlt.sys. Some of the trojans in the bundle are TR/Agent.439, TR/Crypt.ZPACK.Gen, and TR/Rootkit.Gen to name three out of about six trojans shown by Avira. The trojan viruses are also hidden. I tried searching my PC in the location in the C drive to delete them, and I was unable to locate them. Now, what should I do to get rid of the trojan viruses after all of my failed attempts at removing them? moreResolved Question: Can someone tell me what should I do?

My computer is a pretty simple one, nothing fancy. I use it for pretty much only chatting or music listening purposes, with the rest of the time being spent on occasional web browsing. I've had it for a year and a half and there's about 60% of hard disk space available in C Drive. But, recently, my computer acts up at random times and suddenly it will make lots of noise when i perform the tiniest actions such as single clicking ANYWHERE on the page. When this happens, the page will turn completely blank white for several seconds (sometimes minutes) and the cursor will turn into an hourglass. I have anti-spyware software to protect my computer and I always have had it, and it consistently says that I am totally virus-free, so I am assuming that this problem has something to do with the memory on my machine. As I write this, the computer runs smoothly and makes no noise and is actually close to lightning fast with its actions.. and this was after a reboot. So i don't undertand why it would suddenly come to a snail's crawl and prevent me from doing the simplest things. I also think that maybe my computer is downloading stuff without my knowledge. Thanks for any help :) moreResolved Question: My computer says I have a bunch of viruses, but I don't.?
Ok, so the other day I got on my laptop, and there was a pop up that said I had a bunch of viruses. So I virus scanned my computer not to my supprise, I have no viruses, so I just blow it off for 2 days now, and my computer is a lot slower... I just want to get rid of this, I defraged my laptop, and got rid of a bunch of stuff I don't need. And the pop up came up again, so I guess I'll get more info from it. It says "Warning!!! Your personal computer needs to install antivirus software! Cyber Security can perform fast and free virus and malicious software scan of your computer." When I x out of this another pop up comes up, this pop up says its an "anti spyware scan - Windows Internet Explorer" It says I have 11 threats to shaed documents, and 23 threats to my documents. It says I have 24 threats to local disk (C:) and 10 threats to local disk (D:). Now there is another pop up, saying " This computer is in danger with malware! They can seriously harm your private data or files, and shoul be healed immediately. Return to Cyber Security and download it scure to your PC" that is exactly what is says, so if there are any mistakes, they are on the pop up too. So would someone please tell me how to fix this, its really starting to annoy me. Thanks you :) moreResolved Question: Does running a virus scan catch spyware? Does it detect malware?
