See No Evil Cast Questions asked

Open Question: This poem was from my lowest of lows?

I dedicate this to my father, the oh-so-loving racist alcoholic: Monster You monster from hell. Go back to that vile hole in the earth from which you came. Scream and shriek, let the bile pour from your mouth. You whip your tongue in thrashing motions as the evil pours from your jaws. You detest my existence as I detest yours. The devil has cast you out from his dwelling because not even the creator of evil can tolerate your filth. You mock me, you wound me, you tear me limb from broken limb, yet my body remains untouched, my heart is bruised black. Control is what you seek, control is what you get. Yet I, the lowly worm, hiding away in the earth, yet I still cannot escape your vicious claws. Come for me if you will, and shout your poison, my ears only hear silence. You hate everything about me, as I hate every cell of your being. Anger and confusion is what comes from that black chasm where your heart should have been; innocent eyes have never witnessed such hate. Step off of your false pedestal, and bark like the lowly dog that you are. What gave you the right, the will, to make judgment, you anti-Christ. As I wish to beat in that screaming hole, you only scream more. You say you are done, and the volume only rises. This ranting rage has no end, I can only wish for the apocalypse. Demon of hate and fear, what mistake of judgment has born your existence? You wonder why we hate you, and yet we aren’t allowed to explain why. The contents of Pandora’s box combined into the force that is your existence. You and your stupid bills, I have had enough of it. Leave this place, this person, this life, and never come back; I hate you more than the black fissure in your face. The lies must end, the hate must disappear, and the earth must be cleaned of you. Every threat you make leaves a welt on my sanity. Your lust for power is not greater than my lust for freedom; can I escape this cage? A worm, crawling beneath your feet, as your weight increases, my breath retreats. Why I am not free is a simple case of poor judgment; the judgment of all who see this monster and believe his façade. A mask so thick that the grime beneath can barely just be seen. There is no one to save me; who would save a worm? That is why he crushes me, because no one will learn.*sorry, it wont let me edit it :( try copy/paste it into a word document, then make it double spaced more

Open Question: Bible Story Theme? Please Help!?

I have to read "A Time for Everything" and "The Fall of Babylon" A Time for Everything: Ecclesiastes 3 Everything Has Its Time 1 To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: 2 A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; 3 A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; 7 A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; 8 A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace. "The Fall of Babylon" “Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; Sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called Tender and delicate. 2 Take the millstones and grind meal. Remove your veil, Take off the skirt, Uncover the thigh, Pass through the rivers. 3 Your nakedness shall be uncovered, Yes, your shame will be seen; I will take vengeance, And I will not arbitrate with a man.” 4 As for our Redeemer, the LORD of hosts is His name, The Holy One of Israel. 5 “ Sit in silence, and go into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans; For you shall no longer be called The Lady of Kingdoms. 6 I was angry with My people; I have profaned My inheritance, And given them into your hand. You showed them no mercy; On the elderly you laid your yoke very heavily. 7 And you said, ‘I shall be a lady forever,’ So that you did not take these things to heart, Nor remember the latter end of them. 8 “ Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures, Who dwell securely, Who say in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me; I shall not sit as a widow, Nor shall I know the loss of children’; 9 But these two things shall come to you In a moment, in one day: The loss of children, and widowhood. They shall come upon you in their fullness Because of the multitude of your sorceries, For the great abundance of your enchantments. 10 “ For you have trusted in your wickedness; You have said, ‘No one sees me’; Your wisdom and your knowledge have warped you; And you have said in your heart, ‘ I am, and there is no one else besides me.’ 11 Therefore evil shall come upon you; You shall not know from where it arises. And trouble shall fall upon you; You will not be able to put it off. And desolation shall come upon you suddenly, Which you shall not know. 12 “ Stand now with your enchantments And the multitude of your sorceries, In which you have labored from your youth— Perhaps you will be able to profit, Perhaps you will prevail. 13 You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels; Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, And the monthly prognosticators Stand up and save you From what shall come upon you. 14 Behold, they shall be as stubble, The fire shall burn them; They shall not deliver themselves From the power of the flame; It shall not be a coal to be warmed by, Nor a fire to sit before! 15 Thus shall they be to you With whom you have labored, Your merchants from your youth; They shall wander each one to his quarter. No one shall save you. What other world stories (greek would be best) relate to these two, what is the tone, and what is the theme? I need it for both THANKS, I LOVE YOU(: more

Resolved Question: Is my writing any good? All feedback welcome, most feedback=10pts!?

I am Writing a little some thing and wondered if it was good. Beware: It is not finished, and the names are ridiculous! Here it goes: Prologue “As leader of the Elder Council, and the Wizened Council alike, I have 3, err, nominations you could say, for The One.” I’m going to be honest here, for once. Kronos was getting old. Hell, he should be dead by now. He had to die sooner or later, right? I wouldn’t do it myself, no way, but I could see a couple of people who would. Anyways I listened to the old wreck. “Garbhan Micitaro, Mage of the 9th level, from the land of Tazukoon. Chapter 1: Suspicions confirmed. I had my suspicions about him awhile before he run a sword through my chest. I saw it coming. Though, if I had seen it earlier, I might not be bleeding to death. I checked my Spirit Gauge. It wasn’t high. But high enough to cast minor spells. “Heal.”My voice sounded deceased. Well, at least my inner guts were functioning as they once had, although that didn’t stop my bleeding. Aeton bounded over to me on his black stallion. “Garbhan, Are you all right. Let me fix that.” His voice was comforting. Though not as half as comforting as the much stronger Heal that he got my fellow mage, Luscious Krakun, to cast upon me. I sat up. “Seems as though Garbhan is fine. Good. Now, who did this?” Luscious asked, looking anxious. I told him. “Cain” I spat the bloody traitors name out. I stood up, brushed of my robes, picked up my staff, Klust, and preformed a spell. “Tegora sommonus Dracato!” My dragon materialized by my side. I climbed onto it. “You guys manage things down here; I’ll provide help from the skies. When I send” I hesitated, “orange sparks in the sky, we’ll rendezvous at the tower. May Toroks’ spirit watch over you.” “As well with you.” They replied. As they went to the battlefield, I took to the skies with my dragon, Tegora. Aeton, being one of the swords not the staff, battled the vicious ogres, werewolves, and zombies alongside his fellow warriors. Behind them, mages sent whirling spells, curses, and the occasional heal for our allies. I thought about this battle. What was the point? All of this fuss, just about some sleazy kid. I mean the prophecy clearly describes a handsome and strong hero. Clearly me, but the Wizened council alongside with the Elder council, thought the hero destined to kill Lord Foulon, the all-mighty evil leader, was the lazy, irritating, cheeky Harrison Dekolath! And he’s half mortal! Goddamn it, if I hadn’t saved that loser from a mini sphinx (that was quite the easy kill, mind you lads) he would be under the ground. more

Resolved Question: What's your favorite part of the bible my friends?

[no need to answer if you don't have one, it's ok that's your thing and i can live with that] anyhow mine is the sermon on the mountain, to me it's the greatest things ever taught to men: 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. more

Resolved Question: can you translate john donne's poem :ELEGY XIX. TO HIS MISTRESS GOING TO BED into to english i can understand?

Come, madam, come, all rest my powers defy, Until I labor, I in labor lie. The foe oft-times having the foe in sight, Is tired with standing though he never fight. Off with that girdle, like heaven's zone glistering, But a far fairer world encompassing. Unpin that spangled breastplate which you wear, That th' eyes of busy fools may be stopped there. Unlace yourself, for that harmonious chime Tells me from you that now it is bed time. Off with that happy busk, which I envy, That still can be, and still can stand so nigh. Your gown, going off, such beauteous state reveals, as when from flowry meads th' hill's shadow steals. Off with that wiry coronet and show The hairy diadem which on you doth grow: Now off with those shoes, and then safely tread In this love's hallowed temple, this soft bed. In such white robes, heaven's angels used to be Received by men; thou, Angel, bring'st with thee A heaven like Mahomet's Paradise; and though Ill spirits walk in white, we easily know By this these angels from an evil sprite: Those set our hairs on end, but these our flesh upright. License my roving hands, and let them go Before, behind, between, above, below. O my America! my new-found-land, My kingdom, safeliest when with one man manned, My mine of precious stones, my empery, How blest am I in this discovering thee! To enter in these bonds is to be free; Then where my hand is set, my seal shall be. Full nakedness! All joys are due to thee, As souls unbodied, bodies unclothed must be To taste whole joys. Gems which you women use Are like Atlanta's balls, cast in men's views, That when a fool's eye lighteth on a gem, His earthly soul may covet theirs, not them. Like pictures, or like books' gay coverings made For lay-men, are all women thus arrayed; Themselves are mystic books, which only we (Whom their imputed grace will dignify) Must see revealed. Then, since that I may know, As liberally as to a midwife, show Thyself: cast all, yea, this white linen hence, There is no penance due to innocence. To teach thee, I am naked first; why than, what needst thou have more covering than a man? 1669 more

Resolved Question: Could I use my incredible intellect to trick a ugly girl into doing whatever I want?

Greetings, I am Simon Templar. Before I begin, I would like to state that I am a incredibly good-looking man with the body of a greek god, and the features of a great impressionists work of art. Needless to say, I am a masterpiece, and I could talk about myself all day(I seriously could). The bourgeoisie have used science for a hundreds of years to blind his fellow man from god. Their blanket of evil has corrupted all but a elite few. Science in itself is one of the many tools the bourgeoisie have used to place a blanket of ignorance on top your eyes, and cloud your thoughts with satanic lust. The evil hierarchy that is the bourgeoisie have tainted you my fellow people. You all say that you dedicate yourselves to an ideal, or to a lifestyle. However most of you are hypocrites in the eyes of your own beliefs. This conundrum befalls most of you charlatans and swashbucklers. Do not distress, for I am a true believer, and have vanquished most all my iniquities. I warn you , do not try to pierce holes in my logic because my will is unquestionable. Behold as the bourgeoisie cover your eyes with their blanket of evil that saturates the very soil you live on. The corrupt bourgeoisie have entrapped every political hierarchy on this planet. Behold as their evil ways crumble upon my purity. Yet again I must address the insolent swine that are the bourgeoisie. Behold as the phoenix(which destroys and revives) disrupts the being that is my own empathetic, and saint like unrest that cast the shadow of cerberus away from my tantamount imprisonment. Resist I say! Resist I say! I have seen them, they who make outragous claims that they can walk on water or turn dirt into gold. Well I have been there, and let me confide in you their secrets. Again, again, and again I find myself in another convoluted paradox. For lust, is but the bitter byzantium like preponderance of evidence that belittles, and befittingly serves my genius. I am like the caecilian(of bourgeois and/or illiberal proportions no less!), in that my pride is my prejudice. Is that not a juxtaposed position? The truth may hurt. The world is a plethora of sensual desires that only cease to consribe all in it's crimson shadow, if only, a convoluted fiend, which I call fear, can be conquered. Only men of true faith, can walk the path I have walked. I fear him, for the day my iniquities are judged, I will be cast asunder like a abomination. However, this journey is likened to a mosque of slashed-up, dagonet-esque, and proverbial goldbrick cynicism. Yes , I have seen many women, claiming they can "walk on water" and "turn men into their slaves". They taint my bismarkian ideals, with leviathan like(of darkened Kalamazoo like make' make' entrapment!) exquisiteces. This is what the evil, satanic, and pseudo intellectual goldbricks have done. They have attempted to twist and ensare my very world, but I have discovered these blasphemous fiends. Science, lust, gluttony, etc., are all the many tools he has used to corrupt society. Lift up the blanket of abomination, and see with clarity. I emplore you! I hope my words have helped shed light on the subject at hand, for I am a gentlemen of the highest order, whom strives for purity. Am I a good man or not?Greetings, I am Jacobin Veer. 1- THE KING OF SAINTS Abdul-Qadir Gilani said Last prophet, saw, warned ummah from fitna of shiane iblees which has been recoreded by sheikh abdul qadir jilani as follows: "A group will emerge soon who will abuse my Sahabah and endeavor to find faults in them. As such you should not keep their company, nor dine with them nor have marriage relationships with them from either side. You should not greet them either. The curse of Allah be upon them". (Al-Ghunya li-talibi tariq al-haqq wa al-din by Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani, Page No. 179) 2- Imam Malik stated that the Rawafid are disbelievers because they hate the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them all. Malik said, "The Companions enrage them, and according to this Ayah"48:29", he who is enraged by the Companions is a disbeliever.'' Several scholars agreed with Malik's opinion, may Allah be pleased with them. 3- Abu Zur`ah ar-Raazee This great scholar was quoted as saying, "If you see someone degrade any of the companions of the Prophet, ((may Peace Be Upon Him)), know that he is a disbeliever. Because the Prophet, ((may Peace Be Upon Him)), was real, what he brought was the truth and all of it was conveyed to us by the way of the Sahaabah. What those disbelievers wish to do is to cast doubt on the reliability of our narrators in order to invalidate the Quraan and the Sunnah. Thus the disbelievers are the ones most deserving defamation." 4-Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: As for the one who goes further and claims that they apostatized after the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) died, apart from a small number, no more than ten or so, or that they became evildoers, there is no doubt that he is a kaafir, because he is rejecting what it says in the Qur’aan in more than one place, that Allaah was pleased with them and praised them. Indeed, the one who doubts that such a person is a kaafir is to be labelled as a kaafir himself, because what this view implies is that those who transmitted the Qur’aan and Sunnah were kuffaar or rebellious evildoers. The verse says “You (true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and his Sunnah) are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:110], and the best of them were the first generation. But according to this view, most of them were kaafirs and rebellious evildoers, and this ummah is the worst of nations and the earliest generations of this ummah were the most evil of them. The fact that this is kufr is something that no Muslim has any excuse for not knowing. End quote from al-Saarim al-Maslool ‘ala Shaatim al-Rasool (p. 590). more

Resolved Question: How do you know if someone has cast nazar (evil eye) on you?

Last year everything seemed pretty good. I was one of the top students in my school after achieving great GCSE results and I felt in good shape. However, soon after, I started to feel like crap. In the summer, I did something to my lower back and nearly half a year on it still hurts me. (I've been to see my doctor about this and her advice hasn't really helped.) I often feel heavily depressed and I'm pretty reclusive- I seriously have no social life. In school, I have NO motivation to work; I've been missing a lot of deadlines, even in art, which is the subject I love and usually excel at. Even my skin lately has been suffering from acne even though the past few years it's been in tip top condition. Okay, I realise a lot of this can probably be explained by hormones and stress, however, I've never felt so down in my life and I can just see it all crumbling around me. I'm wondering if I've been affected by nazar and I want to seek some spiritual advice. I'm going on Umrah next month insha'allah and I really hope that will help cleanse me and sort out my life. But until then, any advice would be highly appreciated. Thank you. x more

Resolved Question: If the God of the Bible is all knowing, then why..?

This bothers me. The God in the Bible is all knowing, all seeing, and all powerful, right? Then he knew he'd create Adam and Eve.. and he knew they would be tricked into eating the fruit of the tree of Knowledge, yet he got mad at them anyways. Then he knew he'd cast them out of Eden, he knew everything they were going to do. He knew about how 'evil' humans were going to get- he even knew he'd destroy almost all of them because of it. It seems either that we don't have free will (if he knows everything, our lives are already 'planned' to follow his knowledge), or, because he seems to get angry when people go against his word (which he would know would happen) then perhaps he isn't all knowing? And here's a bonus for people who don't feel like answering that: Why did God 'harden the heart' of Pharaoh when Moses asked him to let him and the children of Israel leave? Pharaoh told him to leave, then suddenly changes his mind when 'God hardened his heart' and made him force Moses to stay. And God does it a lot, and even though he tells Moses his attempts to persuade Pharaoh would never work, he makes him do it anyways. Then, he kills all the firstborn of Egypt and plagues them for quite a while, because Pharaoh refused to let Moses and his people go- but he's the one who made Pharaoh say no in the first place. Isn't that a bit unnecessary, or is God a sadist?"We still have choice, but God knows what is going to happen." If he knows what you are going to chose, then you are going to chose that specific choice. Therefore, your life is planned, and you are following the plan. That means you can't change it even if you tried- because God would know you would try to change it in the first place. more

Voting Question: Please read my Essay!!?

I'm sorry if this is a lot to ask, but I would love it if someone would read over my essay and fix or add anything that is needed. I want a good grade on this essay because it will determine my placement for next year. The essay was to explain why Lady Macbeth is a foil to Macbeth, a foil is a character in literature that highlights certain traits of the main character by contrasting them. We must use three quotes( embedded and include CAST. I'm not the best essay writer, so tips would be greatly appreciated, I do not intend to copy. In William Shakespeare’s tragedy, Macbeth, Macbeth has to cope with the strong feelings of envy, and hatred to fulfill his ambitions of being King. Macbeth started off as a loyal and trusting person that has triumphed in battle, therefore he is granted the title of, “The Thane of Cawdor,” from King Duncan. Soon after, Lady Macbeth receives good news saying that Duncan will be staying with them for some time. Lady Macbeth then manipulates Macbeth into killing Duncan. Although Macbeth desires to be King he still has his doubts about the murder. Shakespeare shows that Lady Macbeth serves as a foil to Macbeth because her static character shows strong and evil strategies that bring out Macbeths cowardly actions and apprehensive conscience for becoming King, making Macbeth look as if he is weak. Macbeth is seen as a very brave and determined character at the beginning of the play after winning the battle at Norway. Even though Macbeth is seen to be a positive role model, he is naïve and easily fooled into doing things his original character would not intend on doing. In the play Macbeth is persuaded by Lady Macbeth to kill Duncan in order to get the “ornament of life,” which would be taking the thrown. Before the murder of Duncan Lady Macbeth says that, “Glamis thou art and Cawdor; and shalt be what, not without ambition, but without the illness that should attend it,” in order to show that Macbeth must turn to murder as a way to gain power after Macbeth has heard the predictions of the weird sisters. Lady Macbeth explains that murder is the answer to the obstacle of Ducan, but she fears that Macbeth is much too kind to do such a thing. Because Macbeth is a genuine person, Lady Macbeth must manipulate him into the murder to achieve power for her and her husband. Lady Macbeth makes Macbeth look vulnerable which makes Macbeth feel pressured into the killing of Duncan. Lady Macbeth is a very evil and devious woman; her plans of gaining power by becoming Queen are so strong that she would do whatever it takes in order to have that name in society. Unlike Macbeth, Lady Macbeth feels no uncertainty in whether or not Macbeth should take the crown from Duncan or not. She makes it obvious that she would do whatever necessary in order to seize the throne when she explains her eagerness of taking the power from Duncan by saying, “unsex me here, and fill me from the crown to the toe top-full of direst cruelty,” here she is admitting to wanting to have masculine traits so that she would then be able to kill Duncan herself for the title of being Queen because she feels as though that because she is a woman she cannot do so. She also says to “Come to my woman’s breast and take my milk from gall,” her she uses her breast and milk to represent her being a woman which keeps her from performing acts of hostility upon the King. Macbeth is seen as a foil to Lady Macbeth here because she makes him look as if he is too afraid to kill Duncan himself and that if only she was not a female that she would be able to get the identity she truly wants, making Macbeth look weak overall. Unlike Lady Macbeth, Macbeth has a guilty conscience that makes him have qualms about murdering Duncan and taking his position as King. Throughout the whole play, Lady Macbeth’s static personality is seen when trying to become Queen. She becomes worried when Macbeth is reluctant about murdering Duncan. Lady Macbeth’s sinful actions are shown when she plans to have her husband kill Duncan. When Lady Macbeth senses that Macbeth is being hesitant to the murder she then tells him, “ Wouldst thou have that which thou esteem’st the ornament of life and live a coward in thine own esteem, letting “ I dare not” wait upon “I would,” like the poor cat I th’adage?” in order to express her feelings about Macbeths uneasiness. In effect to Macbeth’s tentative behavior Lady Macbeth tells him that he needs to “be a man,” and go on with the arrangement of the murder. Lady Macbeth’s wicked and corrupt behavior brings out Macbeths wavering thoughts and indefinite judgment about becoming King. Throughout the tragedy Macbeth, Lady Macbeths proves that she is a static character that has a deep desire to become powerful and important. Her dominant personality overrules that of Macbeths because she makes him look as if he is a coward by having to persuade him into the murder and also by telling him that he needs to live up to being the ‘ more

Voting Question: so what do you do when you pray to God and he answers you quickly, but you can not get help from anyone?

I prayed to Jesus once if I was possessed by a demon, because of the satanic nature my mind has, and all the demons I see when my eyes are closed. I prayed to Jesus and said God do to what is going on with me I can not tell if I am mentally ill or demon possessed. But If there is a demon in me can you show the demon to me right at this instant and scare the heck out of me with it. That very instant a life like demon appeared before me with such a evil wicked face, it frightened me 1/2 to death. The Lord will not except any more tests from me on this. He shows me being whipped around in church and all my family in christ shrugging their shoulders as if they are all blind or dumb. No one will help me in this area and any that go to help me I do not trust their faith with Christ, and I have to travel far to get to them. They just seem like the ones that use the name of Jesus to cast out demons but Christ does not know them, kinda Idea. How does a man show he has a demon in him, when this demon wants to stay hidden in me? Do I trust in the revelation I had from God when i asked him? The things in church that have happened to me show me I am possessed.... Now it has been about 5 yrs that I have thought I have a demon in me...I try to ignore it but I can not pray to Jesus any more and I am the great seeker, it is all my mind does. So it is hard for me to stay away from praying or seeking the glory of God.Jim: that theory might be right if I had fear, I have no fear for the Lord is with me. I see the demons all the time when my eyes are closed, but they do not frighten me. Just when I tested the Lord. more

Resolved Question: What the Companions said about Uthman's Assassination?

Ali When Ali came to know of the assassination of Uthman, he raised his hands to the heavens and said repeatedly: "By God, I never wished for his murder, nor did 1 abet his murder.) God be my witness that I am not to be blamed for this catastrophe. Those who have done the heinous deed have done a great disservice to Islam". Ibn Abbas Ibn Abbas is reported to have said that the assassination of Uthman was the work of some misguided persons. The Muslims could not agree to the murder of their Caliph. Ibn Abbas added that. if the Muslims had agreed to the murder of Uthman, the Muslims would have been stoned to death by the heavens as had been done in the case of the people of Lut. Ayesha Ayesha said that the way in which Uthman had stood the siege and met his death was comparable to the cleansing of a utensil or the washing of a soiled cloth. By his steadfastness, determination and faith, Uthman had purified himself and his reward lay with God. Abdullah b Hakim Abdullah b Hakim was critical of the people of Madina in whose midst their Caliph had been murdered in cold blood. He held that even those persons who criticized Uthman unjustly were guilty of abetting his murder. Hudhaifa Hudhaifa was very bitter that with the assassination of Uthman, a great fissure had' occurred in the ranks of the Muslims and this gap was too wide to be filled even by a mountain. Samama b Adi When Samama b Adi who was the Governor of Yemen heard of the assassination of Uthman he wept bitterly and said that with the assassination of Uthman all was over with the caliphate, and the caliphate would give place to hereditary monarchy. Abu Hamid Al Saadi Ansari Abu Hamid Al Saadi Ansari, a companion of the Holy Prophet and who had fought at the battle of Badr mourned the death of Uthman. He said that those who had murdered their Caliph had violated the right to be called as Muslims. He took the oath that after the death of Uthman he would never laugh and would continue to mourn his death. He fulfilled this oath, and never laughed again in life. Abu Huraria Abu Huraira condemned the assassination of Uthman in very strong terms. He said that it was a great tragedy for the Muslim community. He would often beat his breast and lament at the death of Uthman. He said that those who had killed Uthman would have their punishment with the Lord. Abdullah b Salam Abdullah b Salam said that those who had shed the blood of Uthman were guilty of revolt against God. He said that when a Prophet is killed unjustly, 70,000 persons are killed in sequel, and when a Caliph is killed unjustly, 35,000 persons are apt to suffer death in sequel. He added that after Uthman there would be great bloodshed among the Muslims, and the toll of death may be as heavy as 35,000. Abi Qalaba Abi Qalaba said that those who had assassinated Uthman were guilty of a great crime. He added that he had seen in a dream that on the Judgement Day, Uthman would sit as a judge to try his murderers for their crime. Hudhaifa b Alyaman Hudhaifa b Alyaman said that there could be no element of good in the assassination of Uthman. It was an evil act fraught with evil consequences for the Muslim community. Samurah Samurah said: "Verily Islam was in a strong fortress, and they have made in Islam a breach by their slaying of Uthman, which will not be closed till the day of resurrection. Verily the caliphate was with the people of Madina, but they have cast it forth, and it shall not return to them." Muhammad b Sirin Muhammad b Sirin held that the piebald horses on which the angels fought for the Muslims were never missing until Uthman was slain, and never were there variations in the appearance of the new moons until Uthman was slain. more

Voting Question: Is my fiancé schizophrenic? ?

Is my fiancé schizophrenic?  Ok it all started about 2 1/2 year ago. We were visiting his home state of Nevada and staying with his life long friend that weekend. He was 23 years old at the time and out with his friends one night when I got a call out of the blue to come pick him up with a scared but angry tone. I was confused but drove quickly as he requested. When I found him he was in a panic and parinoid that someone was after him. He told me later that he had smoked weed that night with his "friends" (this was not the first time somking either) and they must have mixed another drug in there to prevent him from knowing what they had planned. He seems to think they were  going to kill him. Until his day he still believes that.  For the first year after that night he was full on paranoid that everyone including me was tryin to posion him or some how kill him. He would always question everyhing I said and put some sort of hidden meaning behind it. I tryed to leave him a few time bc I was so frustrated and impatient w him, but he would cry and say that I'm the only friend he's got( yet he would alway accuse me of trying to plot against him) The next year following his behavior got better. He stated that he has excepted death and that he was no longer afraid to die, so it didnt matter if someone wanted to kill him. His paranoid thoughts decreased (but maybe he just didn't talk to me about it like he use to) it seemed like his negative thouhts were only targeting towards him. And thought of me trying to kill I'm eventually faded, but thoughts of me cheating and wanting bad things to happen to him started. He accused me of being evil about every other week. He even stated I was a witch and would cast spells on him.  These r the more current things he does. Let me add that one most days he is find and he is no longer as crazy as he was in the beginning of all of this, Which is why I question if he is schizophrenic? Most of the days he doesn't care about hygiene.  He says his days are filled with thouhts- but won't share w me what they r about. Only that he has vivid thouhts about me cheating.  says he has trouble with his speech, but I don't notice anything wrong with it. He says his tone is off and he can't talk with confidence.  He told me once that "deep down inside I hate u" when I asked him if that was how he really felt, he said no and didn't remember saying it. And confessed that sometimes he has no control over what he says.  He told me once that he had a real conversation w his brother in his head. I said so you're saying u know your brother well enough to know what he is going to say...he said,  no, we had a real conversation. Then I asked if his brother knew about this conversation he had. He told me he had called his brother up right after and his brother knew about it. I think he was lying about his brother knowing. I don't know his brother well enough to ask him. Talks about demons all the time. He says that they literally attack him and they want his soul. He said that he sees them and that they try to scare him, but that he's not scared of them.  He has become very religious ( more spiritual actually) and fight off the demonic thouhts w scripture.  Has become a heavy cigarette smoker and drinks every chance he gets. He says that it. Clears his mind and allows him to see thing for what they really r.  He refuses to see a doctor or therapist about this bc he is not intrested in being diegnosed and put on meds. I have resently let him and told him it was over until he talks to someone.  Is this schizophrenia or maybe just plain old paranoia. Oh and I personally don't think his friend were trying to kill him the night this all started. I don't know for sure, but I know all the time he accused me of trying to harm him he was wrong to I just figure he's wrong about that too.  If his simptoms were getting worst then I would know for sure somethig is def wrong. I don't know if I'm in denial ? I tried talking to his mom about this all told her all that I told u guy and she just thinks it's stress.  Oh and his uncle on his moms side is full blown paranoid he thinks people r out to harm him too. He's been that way for years but his symptoms never got better. He also never got diagnosed.  more

Resolved Question: Jehovah's Witnesses, what about James 1:13 and being tempted?

This has really had me thinking for a while now about how many Jehovah's Witnesses take James 1:13 out of context by using it to claim that Christ is not God. I know of their many arguments and reasons why they believe not. However, why use James 1:13 and not add verse 14 and 15 with it to reveal the full context? Now I am not saying that all JWs practice in this sneaky way with James 1:13 but from my experience they do not condemn it either. ► Here is the JW use of James 1:13: "Jesus was tempted by the Devil and God cannot be tempted according to James 1:13 so therefore Jesus is not God." Here is James 1:13 along with verse 14 and 15. James 1:13-14 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Ok, by reading all of that we see that Jehovah's Witnesses who use that tactic have claimed that. (1) When Jesus was tempted He was drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Why do Jehovah's Witnesses use James 1:13 out of context in order to disprove Jesus' deity? All I am asking is...do all JWs agree with that bad usage of James 1:13 by applying it to Jesus' experience when Satan came to tempt Him in Matthew 4:3? I see no evidence of Jesus being drawn away with lust and being enticed by Satan's attempt. 3And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. 4But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 5Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.Daisy, It is the old "your a liar" trick huh? Well I am glad that you have done what I expected you to do by claiming that JWs do not practice this. Resolved Question: PLEASE READ MY SHORT POEM! It won't take long and would really help me!?

I'd like some honest comments about this poem. Constructive criticism! Just give some comments and say what you like/dislike and why. Thanks, it would really help! Undetectable, unnoticeable, Imperceptible, unseen. Self-conscious, Inconspicuous, Obscured; a queen? In a dark corner From behind her veil Invisible Girl waits Inside her self-made jail. Invisible girl hides Behind a cloud of mist She will never be wanted She will never be kissed. No-one ever has seen The person she is inside. She was mocked and ridiculed Now all she does is hide. People only see the outer shell, Caterpillar in a cocoon. She is trapped within herself And needs to breakout soon. Heart made of gold Rides a white steed; Fights against evil, Injustice and greed. He will come and fetch her Will make them all see. They will finally notice How brilliant she can be. She will shine out Timidness cast aside. Everyone will marvel, No more she will hide. But then comes realisation Pride before a fall; I am not Cinderella I shall not go to the ball.No I did not copy it! I wrote it about 6 months ago and posted it then. Resolved Question: Christians, when is it ever right to do the opposite of what these verses teach?

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. (Psalm 19:14) Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. (Psalm 1:1-2) Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:13-16) Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. (Matthew 5:38-48) But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you (Luke 6:27-28). Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse (Romans 12:14). Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:17-21). Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult, but with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing (1 Peter 3:9). Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-8). more

Resolved Question: Is this your opinion that Muslims hate christians?

Love your enemies and stop thinking as though they see, when they don't but you see so do what the LORD SAYS shoot the devil not your brother, although they are enemies of the faith, yet a remnant is called to the election of grace; "We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places; But be strong and the LORD putting on the full armor of God standing in the power of the LORD's might, so that you may withstand in the evil day and having the ability to stand having on these; your inner and the faculties of your soul man girt about with truth having on the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace and above these, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, and take unto to yourself the helmet of salvation that Christ has established for you taking the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, for the weapons of our warfare, they are not fleshly but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself above the knowledge of God, bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ our LORD for there is a readiness with God to revenge all disobedience when yours obedience is fulfilled in these. Resolved Question: What do you think of the prologue to my novel?

It's an old-world fantasy by the way. Does it keep your interest? Any improvements? Thanks in advance :) Somebody has been careless and left the door open. He peers absorbedly through the parted wooden lips, observing. Shining shells are placed over each pillar of strength. Ragged metal implements are thrust into their reluctant hands. Minds and hearts race, in competition with one another. To his young mind, he sees a row of men off on an adventure. Off to battle, their armour and chainmail sliding on to them like an old skin. To any other, they see a line of disposable tools. Tools that should be slaughtered mangled, hacked, torn apart in order to gain a petty patch of land. And also to fight evil; a far more moralistic reason than the former. From the stretch of identical men, he spots a pair of eyes. His eyes. Also his Father’s eyes. They’re gazes touch each other, communicating. His Father follows his eye’s path and walks over to his son. Bending down he whispers ‘You shouldn’t be here. There are some things children shouldn’t see, or even be involved in.’ ‘But Father... I should be worried though?’ his son says simply. No answer. Another question. ‘Why do you have to do this?’ His Father places a hand on his face. His son’s eyebrows knit themselves together in a frown. He feels a pang of anger that a youthful face should be etched with such a large amount of concern. ‘Sometimes things really don’t have an explanation. You don’t need to always analyse things; just do things because they feel right. Y’know, I could tell you that you’re too young to understand, but I don’t think you are. The fact is you might have to do a similar thing. And that worries me. But...worrying never moved anyone forward. Action does.’ He gazes at his Father, understanding his words but not exploring. ‘Go back to your mother. She’ll need some company.’ Casting one last, long look backwards, he scampers from the doorway and back to his mud-house. He’s lived there all his life. Nothing’s changed much. Change frightened him. Years pass. Snow melts, and ripples of ice water wave goodbye. The sun appears, yawning in splendour and heat. It traps his home in a cocoon of light, whilst the atmosphere remains dark within. He sits outside often, watching the life around him. Drunken Trolls spill from taverns, the blacksmiths hammer rings out a sharp tone, children run past clothed in cotton and leather. He and his Mother, like all, celebrate the Aspects of Life; Happiness, Hope, Luck... the list continues. He sits with his mother while she tells stories of his Father’s heroism. He knows they are made up, but he still likes to listen. To pretend. One heartening day, his Father’s shell returns. Only his shell; the contents have been scooped out by horror. His Mother delicately guides the shell into the house, resting him gently on a chair. They all laugh, relieved. His Father smiles at him, and locks him in a hug. He can’t help but feel that this smile is forced; that the hug is desperate. Months pass. His Father starts to talk to the Aspects. His Mother and he think he has gone mad. How can you talk to Aspects? He feels he should snap his Father out of this strange habit. ‘Father... You do realise that Aspects can’t talk back to you? We can though’ he adds hopefully. ‘It would be good if they did though, wouldn’t it? There would be someone always there’ his Father says, wistfully. ‘That’s wishful thinking’ says his Mother, bluntly. She pops her husband’s aura of delusion. Days pass. He thinks. He thinks thoughts that are unusual for an eight-year old to ponder. He hears his Father’s mumbling, which has now developed into a constant droning. He starts to wonder why the darker Aspects of Life are never celebrated. Why does everyone stick with the happy ones? Why will they not acknowledge that terrible things happen? He resolves that if he is to understand the evil that destroyed his Father, then he must understand the darker Aspects of Life; he grows a desire to explore them. He may suffer and become upset by what he discovers, but at least he will be helping. And surely anything was worth helping his Father? Evil has brought a stranger home. Perhaps he could make Evil take him back? more

I've seen things nobody has saw, i've experienced this you have not, if I told you, about 99% wouldn't beleive me. But just for your time I want too know if you belive me or not.. [Note] I put this on my Brother Michael R.I.P. .... I have seen a ufo, I have Cast a Demon out my brother, I have had a white figure come from behind me and put his hand on my shoulder beaming with light while I was reading my bible, I have levitated my friend with light as a feather stiff as a board, I have also been levatated, one time i was walkin down the hallway and took a left into my sisters old room cus she had just moved out it and i seen a gray fuzzy ball come zip out and go down the hall way so i told my mom i had seen a grey ball and she was like "yeah there fuzzy and its the spirit of fear" I then relized that I had never been more scared in my whole life, I have these dreams where I wake up to where I cant move but I can see my room and dark figures stand next to me looks like a grim reaper but no scyth, My Dad which is now muslim told my mom that God wanted my middle name to be Israel, my Dad said he saw the holy ghost protecting me as a baby, When I hear a preacher or christian music my body starts too flow with imense feelings for him and i get goose bumps even if im not cold, When I pray my prayers are answered, I do alot of sin, im no more special then anyone else, My sister and friends one night tried to summon up some evil spirts and they said they had seen the Grim Reaper, the next day me and my parents and her walked 2 the spot and in the pinestraw was a witches star burned into the top layer of pine straw.. Praise Your Creator, What do you have to lose freedom? You are going to die no matter what, so why would it matter how you lived, I didnt want him till i needed him and when i needed him i founded out I wanted him.. I hope you make the right decision. more

Resolved Question: Question for Christians? (read details)?

Do you think that you could be worshiping the wrong God? So basically you are worshiping a God that created you & then created a heaven & a hell. When he made you he knew your life would end & he wanted most people to go to hell & just a few select people to go to heaven. He knew who would go to heaven & who would go to hell even before birth, yet he created the people who would go to hell anyways. At the same time he says he is "All love." Not possible. If something is all love, they cannot create evil. Demons, satan, hell - all evil - all created by the hand of God. Then he plants us in the middle of some garden with limited knowledge like a child. He says you can go anywhere in this garden just don't eat this fruit. Like any child OF COURSE they would be easily convinced to eat the fruit. Then God seeing that they now have "advanced knowledge" casts them out into the field with no tools or anything to fend for themselves. I mean, are these the actions of a loving God? more

Resolved Question: Do you believe in following all of the Bible?

I don't. And I'll tell you why. I see most of the Bible is figurative. For example, Genesis describes the creation of the Earth by God. Taken figuratively, this is in conflict with science. I believe science and God are compatible, so I believe in evolution. While God inspired the writers of the Bible, human error and ideas are mixed in. Readers have to be careful. I believe the parts about Jesus and HIS teachings to be the most important. A section in the Bible says that those who commit certain sins should be killed. A loving God would not command this! Such is human error and ideas. For example: Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. - Deuteronomy 17:12 JESUS must be followed over this! Jesus said: He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. - John 8:7 I am no one to judge, but I find it saddening that so many who claim to be Christians are so harsh on others. So many are truly not like Christ. I think the Christian community needs to be in a state of progression! more

Resolved Question: Can you tell me what you think of my novel's prologue?

The prologue is the start of a sub-plot, seperate from the main plot. Can you just tell me your impressions? Feedback and thoughts are much appreciate. It's a fantasy, by the way. Prologue Somebody had been careless and left the door open. To any other, they see a line of exposable tools. Tools that should be slaughtered mangled, hacked, torn apart in order to gain a petty patch of land. In order to fight evil; a far more moralistic reason than the former. From the stretch of identical men, he spots a pair of eyes. His eyes. Also his Father’s eyes. They’re gazes touched each other, communicating. He feels a pang of anger that a youthful face should be etched with such a large amount of concern. ‘Sometimes things really don’t have an explanation. You don’t need to always analyse things; just do things because they feel right. Y’know, I could tell you that you’re too young to understand, but I don’t think you are. The fact is you might have to a similar thing. Years past. He and his Mother celebrate the Aspects of Life; Happiness, Hope, Luck... His Father smiles at him, and locks him in a hug. He can’t help but feel that this smile is forced; that the hug is desperate. Months pass. His Father starts to talk to the Aspects. His Mother and he think he has gone mad. Voting Question: critique my Paper over Arthur Miller's The Crucible PLEASE!!!?

I was to write a 4 paragraph essay on the play, my thesis is why Abigail does what she does in the play. please tell me what you think, be harsh and give me tips/examples for fixin it. Before the story of the Crucible begins a very crucial event takes place between two major characters, John Proctor and Abigail Williams. Abigail’s love for John and Johns lust for Abigail lead them to a steamy affair, this affair is the source of hatred that fuels Abigail’s fire throughout the play, Abigail is the kind of person who always wants her way, no matter who she hurts After the affair, Elizabeth Proctor sends Abigail away from her home and John returns to his wife, feeling ashamed for what he did. It is at this point in the story that Abigail is overcome with love for John and Jealousy for Elizabeth Proctor. At first Abigail tries to get John back for herself she tells him “I cannot sleep for dreamin'; I cannot dream but I wake and walk about the house as though I'd find you comin' through some door.” Act I (page 23) but when John refuses her, Abby turns to other alternatives to get him back. In the forest with a group of other Salem girls Abigail abandons her morals by dancing naked, drinking chicken blood and “casting a spell” to kill Goody Proctor. When reverend Parris comes close to reveling the truth about Abby’s actions in the woods, she threatens the girls "Let either of you breathe a word, or the edge of a word, about the other things, and I will come to you in the black of some terrible night and I will bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder you... And you know I can do it... I can make you wish you had never seen the sun go down." She is able to strike fear into the girls and force herself as the leader of them, She acts as a puppet master for the girls of salem. from here on out, the girls do her bidding. For example when Mary makes a poppet in court and sticks a needle in its belly to give to Goody proctor, Abby stabs herself with a needle and throws the blame on Elizabeth, saying she sent her “spirit” The town gives poor Abigail the benefit of the doubt and arrest Goody Proctor for witchcraft. This act is not just against Goody Proctor, but John to, she is very well aware that John does not want his wife harmed, so its like a slap in the face to him for not wanting her anymore. Overall the girl’s accusanations lead townspeople to blame others, those whom they do not like of committing witchcraft as well. It is clear from the beginning of this story that Abby is the Antagonist of the play, the villain. She is a girl who’s morals are constantly in question, she is a very malicious girl who lies and is deceitful to get what she wants, reasons for this are perhaps with her past. As a child, Abby witnessed the brutal murder of her parents by Indians. Orphaned, her uncle, Reverend Parris took her in. she didn’t receive much love from Parris and was rather low on the Salem social ladder, being an unmarried orphan who had rumors of an affair surrounding her. Perhaps this makes her evil actions more understandable. All Abigail wanted was love and acceptance, so when the opportunity for her to rise to power arose, she seizes it, and most defiantly misuses it, sending 19 innocent people to their deaths, all because of an improper upbringing. Abigails infatuation with John, immaturity and perhaps even her boredom with the puritans strict rules, rule out any form of morality in her. This allows her to easily accuse anyone who gets in her way of witchcraft and single-handedly destroy her community. Without any morals, Abby see’s no wrong in going along with this story she’s cooked up of the devil corrupting people in Salem by putting the belief of spirituality in their heads more

Resolved Question: did children is save to read bible if its written...?

Jeremiah 3: 9: And it came to pass through the lightness of her whoredom, that she defiled the land, and committed adultery with stones and with stocks. Jeremiah 23: 14: I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah. Ezekiel 23: 37: That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them. (See SBS comment concerning Idolatry.) Hosea 4: 13: They sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oaks and poplars and elms, because the shadow thereof is good: therefore your daughters shall commit whoredom, and your spouses shall commit adultery. Lev. 18: 22: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination... Deut. 23: 17: There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. Genesis 13: 13: But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly. Genesis 18: 20: And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous. 1Kings 14: 24: And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel. Romans 1: 18: For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19: Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20: For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22: Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23: And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24: Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26: For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28: And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29: Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30: Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31: Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. more

Resolved Question: evil dwarf russian hamsters?

evil isn't exactly the nicest term but.... i suppose overly curious and terrified would be a bit better... i got my 2 little russian dwarf hamsters 6 months ago, but around 1 month ago they started fighting so i moved them into different cages. before they were both always quite peaceful and didn't have any fear of me or each other (i guess the pet shop must have got them used to humans). soon the smaller hamster started picking on the big one and now that ive moved them the smaller one has become terrified of me and even gets scared if i so much as cast a shadow on it. it wont come any were near me even if i lay my hand on the ground and don't move for ages. ive even tried rubbing my smell in its bedding and sawdust but its still terrified of me. the other one is the complete opposite. every time i put my hand in its tank (no matter how slow) it runs over to see me and starts biting me like mad ( i tried wearing gloves but it started to chew through them 0_o) ive tried introducing them again, through a bit of see through plastic, but the small and scared one goes berserk and rams into the glass trying to get the other one while the big one just stares on... why have my hamsters gone berserk in the first place and is there anyway i can fix it? there cages are very big, they've always got water, food, bedding, a place to hide, tubes to run in, soft and hard stuff to chew (which they both chew all the time)... so were the bob did i go wrong? : ( more

Resolved Question: what makes a book (or writing, or any type of media) "evil"?

What are the standards for that sort of thing? the criteria? Is a book evil if incites violence? is it evil if it doesn't have a moral center? Does the amount of physical violence and suffering that it has inspired make a difference? is the deathcount important? Does the readers interpretation make a difference? (certainly Taxi Driver doesn't seem like an especially evil movie, but it inspired an assassination attempt) Is it all about the writer's intention? If so how do you determine a book's "evilness" if the writer has passed on and can't offer us insight into his motives? or has offered insight but you suspect he's being disingenuous? Depending on the criteria you use to judge the "evilness" of literature these might be the most evil words ever written: And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves. – Matthew 21:12-13 They seem harmless enough, even noble of Jesus. During the middle ages, Christians were not allowed to be money lenders for profit. Many historians cite these verses as the Catholic church's reasoning behind forbidding profit from money-lending. This is where Jewish people come in. Jews living in Europe at the time were often denied employment from their christian brethren. It wasn't so much because the christians had a beef with the jews it was merely because the Jews didn't share the same religious beliefs as them (and there were no laws protecting people from religious discrimination). So what was the solution?: Take the worst job in the world, giving your money out in hopes that people will give it back to you with interest. Nobody in their right minds would seek out that kind of racket. When people don't pay up you have to threaten them and intimidate them. This makes them bitter and full of hatred for you. Imagine what it must have been like being a christian back then? Everytime your house or property were taken away it was a jewish person doing it. Everytime you were denied for a loan, it was a jewish person denying you. Everytime your arms or legs were broken or somebody you loved was beaten up for non-payment of a bill, it was a Jewish person behind it. Not surprisingly, hatred and bitterness grew towards the jews. They were seen as "greedy" and "thinking themselves superior to the average person" (and indeed, as any bank can attest to, money-lending can be an extremely lucrative business, but it's hard work to become successful and requires a certain degree of detachment from other people's problems, which can be interpreted as "heartlessness") The years wore on, and jews, having been established in the banking business for generations, continued in their parents footsteps, letting the hatred and bitterness grow and roil. Until, of course, the end of world war one. Germany is left in shambles, embarrassed and punished by the rest of Europe, falls into disrepair. The poor become so poor they can barely survive. They have only their cultural identity to hold onto as a source of pride. It isn't hard to understand why the bitterness grew so quickly for their Jewish brethren, who were sharing their precious few resources, and foreclosing on their homes. It is also, unfortunately, not difficult to understand how easily a young opportunist could fall into power, on a platform of racial superiority, and a healthy dose of scape-goating the Jews. Yes, those tiny verses may be responsible for the Holocaust. For the most intense and aggressive torture and murder the world has ever known (and hopefully ever will). but they don't seem "evil", are they evil? Certainly no verse from the Satanic bible has ever inspired as much brutality. Is the Satanic bible "evil", If so then why? What makes a book evil? what is evil if not torture and murder? (I'm not saying the bible is evil, then again I'm not saying it's not. I guess what I'm saying is that when literature, even if the intent was harmless, gets into the hands of people who are ignorant, who interpret it incorrectly and will swear by their misinterpretation, who will KILL by their misinterpretation, it transforms into something truly and unquestionably evil.) more

Voting Question: It's very important that guys and girls answer my question. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME?

Greetings, I am Jacobin Veer. To better serve my own tenacious audacity, I have bequeathed my finite soul, with crimson glory abound that will cast asunder the netherworld that resides in my perceptionism. For my folly lies in my Madame Bovary like male-harlotry that befalls my beholden iniquities. However I assure you, my intentions are that of a triturate Gargantua, in that they are considerable, and of the highest purity. You may liken me to a roué or the great Dagonet, who is only driven by his deep sensual desires. The carniverous, mishapen fiends have toiled in the light for too long. Behold as the bourgeoisie tear your world asunder with sin and science. They have tried, but have failed to corrupt my intolerable purity. Feel my light awaken your senses. What say you? BEHOLD! The great light that smothers and obliterates all the impurities, and pits of ravenous iniquities that beget satanic lust. All that which opposes thyself will be cast asunder. My misgivings of lust are only serve as a pedestal for my most vivid goldbrick esque passion. I have suffered, and gained near-infalliable knowledge that mortifies my true belief. I am a gentleman of the highest order. Fear not, I assure you my intentions are pure. Am I a good man or not? more

Resolved Question: Are our thoughts on Good and Evil more wrong than we know? Who are Lucifer, Satan, Jesus, and Jehova/ Yahweh?

Let me start by saying that i WAS a christian. Unacceptable controversy over "The Holy Bible" pretty much forced me away from christianity. But now I want to know what everyone else thinks on this controversial topic. Who is Satan: Satan is "the adversary" or "opposition", originally seen as Ha-Satan. He was a loyal servant to Jehova, and his mission was to "test" the people of the earth. He did not force them to rebel against Jehova to attempt to claim their soul, he was simply meant to test their faith in him. In Job, we se Ha-Satan as "The Accuser", he accuses Job of only being loyal to Jehova because Jehova had so greatly blessed him. We all know the trials that Ha-Satan put him through AT GOD'S COMMAND! We even see that Ha-Satan is so trusted by Jehova, that he is given the Fire of God to destroy all the Job has. Ha-Satan is also the one who caused David to hold a Census, which Jehova was opposed to. But Jehova was not angry with Ha-Satan (as it was David who was tested by Ha-Satan). Ha-Satan is seen as a devoted servant to Jehova in the Old Testament. And for those who claim that it was Satan in the Garden of Eden posessing a snake, think about this: If it was Satan, then God had made us like all the other animals It was Satan who gave us the ability to freely think. Man was created to have dominion over all of creation (slaves within the garden). And intercourse was not mentioned once while Adam and Eve were in the garden, "Satan" gave them the ability to reproduce. All that is assuming that the Christian "Satan" was responsible for the snake's actions. But then why would Jehova curse the snake (an animal who would have no way to fight demonic posession) to crawl on its belly and eat dust. (plus the snake has a flexible spine and many ribs, it was intended to slither :P) And in just a couple verses before that, didn't it say that "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good." (Genesis 1: 31) That would include his servants, the angels. (supposedly the angel (Ha-Satan was the talking snake in the garden). Ok, so... somehow we get from a loyal servant of Jehova in the Old Testament to "The prince of the air" (Ephesians 2:2) and "Ruler of this world" (John 12:31). And the king of darkness and sin (I made that one up, but its the basic Christian belief :P). Well, I don't know... the bible was written by Jews, and the Jewish people generally don't believe that Ha-Satan is evil. There is absolutely no transition between the loyal servant, and the evil demon that is cast out of Heaven. I have no doubt that the idea of an "evil god" was adopted from Zoroastrianist teachings of Angro-Mainyu, the evil god. Satan truly is an evil god in the Christian teachings, and this is not the only time that they "borrowed" an idea from another religion or culture. Who is Lucifer?: "Lucifer is God's most powerful angel who turned against him and was cast out of Heaven with 1/3 of the angels" -- WRONG! Lucifer was the Roman god for the Planet Venus. He (or sometimes she) was the Bringer of Light (as Venus is the brightest object in the sky just before dawn). Venus was later associated with Aphrodite, but the original concept of bright one who brings the day was Lucifer (also known as Phos-Phoros) "But it says in the Bible, in Isaiah 14, that Lucifer is the Devil"--- WRONG... AGAIN! That verse in the bible refers to a babylonian king who persecuted the Israelites, and has nothing to do with a fallen angel. Many theologians agree that the Idea of Lucifer being the fallen angel was not only religious propaganda, but they also needed a fallen angel, to give the bible some drama... It works for most people. But honestly, Lucifer has become a dirty word for many people today, they associate it with eternal damnation and the adult boogeyman who will come get your soul if you are bad. Ok, enough about the innocent god who has no idea what in hades he did wrong. lol Who is Jesus?: When we think of: A baby born on Dec. 25 to a Virgin. 3 wise men/kings followed a star to get to his birth. At the Age of 12, he was teaching in the temple/ synagogue. He performed Miracles throughout his life. At the age of 30, he was baptised in a river. He was crucified, died for the salvation of the world, and rose again 3 days later. The resurrection is celebrated on Easter. He had 12 Disciples. He is called the light of the world, the bringer of light (lol really?), the way, the truth and the light, the son of God, the only begotten son, etc. We think of Jesus, right? The truth is that Horus, the egyptian god of the Sun, also shares all of these Characterisitics, every single one (his mother's name was Meri, step father's name was Seb (which translates into Joseph) and he resurrected Osiris after Set killed him (Osiris is translated to LZR, and the romans specify Masculinity with US. so Horus resurrected LZRUS (Jesus resurrected Lazarus)). Infact, there are over 30 godmen who share very similar chara more

Resolved Question: Why does it seem like new religions always start out extremely Pessimistic?

Like, the Catholics, Lutherans, Calvinists, and other Early Protestant Churches were like that. Now, we see various Evangelical, Baptists and Pentecostal groups doing that -Higher focus on Hell than Heaven -Belief that only their group could be saved period. -Spend time criticizing everything out there they personally do not agree with -Extremely Legalistic. -Pessimistic view on Judgment day -Lack of Humanism -Belief that Gods wrath was greater than his mercy. -Putting bans on things that could invite sin. ex. Dancing, alcohol, laxed dress. Yes, I know. Early Catholic Culture: Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, Gory pictures depicting souls being tormented by demons in hell. Constant writings criticizing other religions, and ideologies, antisemitism. Belief that very few would be saved. High focus on Hell, and little focus on Heaven. Dies Irae. Modern Catholic Culture: Hold Jews to be important, anti-violent, heavy emphasis on Gods Mercy, belief that most souls go through purgatory, and only few go directly to heaven or hell. More tolerant of other Religions, and rejects no truths they hold. Philosophy of love the sinner, hate the sin, hell as being separation from god, more sermons based on putting faith in action, elimination on Fire and Brimstone. Same with early Protestantism New branches of Protestantism: Fire and brimstone Sermons, God of wrath, casting anyone into hell who never accepted Jesus, despite the fact they never even got a chance, Anti-Catholic ignorance, limits on all things modern, like movies, rock and roll, belief gays are evil. more

Resolved Question: Who Is The Deadlier Daddy ... Y&R's VICTOR Or GH's SONNY ...?

I can only suspect what Sonny will have done to Kiefer whenever he finds out about him beating up on his baby. But, let's face it ... Sonny usually responds to stuff by calling on his hitmen to do a job for him. But, since Kiefer is a kid himself, I just don't see him putting a hit out on him. Sonny prides himself on not picking on women or kids who are not connected to the mob. The only response I see from Sonny is getting Kiefer kidnapped, having him locked in a dark room for a few months hearing only a dripping faucet sound and being served three square meals by goons who constantly drop hints that the food "might" be poisoned ... then letting him out into society about six months later, a psychologically-traumatized but reformed person. Victor, on the other hand? Victor gets others to do his dirty work when it comes to corporate mergers and public enemy take-downs, and he's got no problems with messing with his own family ... but when it comes down to it, Victor won't let anybody else mess with his family. He'll get his own hands dirty beating somebody to a bloody pulp. Can you imagine Kiefer pulling that mess on Abby? Sonny lets Alexis tell him to stay away from Kristina to "protect" her from the mob; he huffs and puffs a little, even taking her to court and winning custody rights, but in the end he adheres to her wishes and stays away from her. Victor is all action; he fought to be in Abby's life no matter what Ashley said, and he's ready to battle her without the courts' involvement if she tries to keep him away from Faith. When Nick was in jail over Matt's frame-up, Victor fought tooth and nail for Nick, and jacked Matt up all over the place. When Victoria was in trouble, he was ready to take action; when evil-tail Adam claimed that some guys in jail had injected his eye with some stuff that made him start to go blind, you should've seen the look on Victor's face when he swore to find who did it and make them pay. If he'll kill for a son who did his best to screw him over, and who he still doesn't trust ... how much more will he do for a 14 year-old daughter who gets abused by a gutless boyfriend? Hey, I got an idea! How about Kiefer visits Genoa City and messes with Abby at the same time he's messing with Kristina. Then, after Victor gets through knocking his scrawny little tail from here to Kingdom Come, and putting him in a body cast, Sonny's men kidnap him from the hospital and makes him "disappear" in a dark dungeon for six months? And then Alexis can combine Victor's and Sonny's cases and represent them both against the charges (because we KNOW that Alexis will look the other way when it comes to her daughter; justice is blind, yeah, right!). Sonny she'll have no problem getting off scott-free, because there'll be nothing to connect him to the crime. (Sonny always covers his butt). Victor she'll have a little problem getting off, but Jason'll probably come in and cow witnesses with that "Stone-Cold" stare, and also make DNA evidence disappear ... and all of a sudden, the Genoa City DA will have no more case. Sorry for getting off subject ... more

Resolved Question: POLL: does anyone know what this is an example of?

Star? Not I! Movie – it too has a star in or a cameo who wore mask – cast are livewires. Soda-pop straws are sold, as part-encased a hot tin, I saw it in mad dog I met. Is dog rosy? Tie-dye booths in rocks. All ewes lessen ill. I see sheep in Syria? He, not I, deep in Syria, has done. No one radio drew old one. Many moths – I fondle his; no lemons are sold. Loot delis, yob, moths in a deli bundle his tin. Pins to net a ball I won – pins burst input. I loot to get a looter a spot paler. Arm a damsel – doom a dam. Not a base camera was in a frost, first on knees on top spot. Now a camera was a widened dam. Ask: Cold, do we dye? No, hot – push tap, set on to hosepipe. Nuts in a pod liven. A chasm regrets a motto of a fine veto of wars. Too bad – I all won. A sadist sent cadets – a war reign a hero derides. A bad loser, a seer, tossed a cradle – he begat to cosset – a minaret for Carole, Beryl, Nora. We’re not as poor to self. I risk cold as main is tidal. As not one to delay burden, I don’t set it on “hot”. A foot made free pie race losses runnier. As draw won pull, eye won nose. Vile hero saw order it was in – even a moron saw it – no, witnessed it: Llama drops – ark riots. Evil P.M. in a sorer opus enacts all laws but worst arose. Grab a nosey llama – nil lesser good, same nicer omen. In pins? No, it is open. If a top spins, dip in soot. Madam, as I desire, dictates: Pull aside, damsels, I set a rag not for a state bastion. A test I won e.g. a contest I won. Kidnap, in part, an idle hero. Megastars, red, rosy, tied no tie. Blast! A hero! We do risk a yeti’s opposition! He too has a wee bagel still up to here held. Resolved Question: Why do we continue to pretend that Islam is a religion of Peace? I submit the following from the koran.?

[3.151] We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no authority, and their abode is the fire, and evil is the abode of the unjust. [4.89] They desire that you should disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so that you might be (all) alike; therefore take not from among them friends until they fly (their homes) in Allah's way; but if they turn back, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and take not from among them a friend or a helper. [5.33] The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement, [8.12] When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them. [8.39] And fight with them until there is no more persecution and religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely Allah sees what they do. [9.5] So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. [9.29] Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Apostle have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection. [9.111] Surely Allah has bought of the believers their persons and their property for this, that they shall have the garden; they fight in Allah's way, so they slay and are slain; a promise which is binding on Him in the Taurat and the Injeel and the Quran; and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? Rejoice therefore in the pledge which you have made; and that is the mighty achievement. Now tell me that Islam is a religion of peace. more

Resolved Question: Why is Chapter 2 so long? Al Quran - Chapter 2 - Part 2?

Ouzibillahi Mina Shytan Al Rajeem Bismillahi Al Rahman Al Raheem THE HOLY QURAN - English Translation W/full explaination SURAH II AL-BAQARA (THE COW) Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Section 1 2 : 1 (1. Alif-lam-meem) Alif-Lâm-Mîm. (Several Surahs in the Qur'aan begin with Arabic alphabets called 'al-Huruf-al-Muqatta 'at and are recited as part of the text. A variety of connotations have been ascribed to them by different interpreters but without reaching any consensus, the most widely accepted among them being that the true meaning of these mystical letters is known to no one but Allah) 2 : 2 (2. Thalika alkitabu la rayba feehi hudan lilmuttaqeena) This is a Scripture concerning which there is no doubt, containing guidance for those who revere Allah - (Guidance contained in the Qur'aan is not intended for those who refuse to believe in Him; repudiate His Revelations; revile His messengers; knowingly stray away from the straight path and stay away from it with sheer adamance and arrogance because they are the sycophants of the devil who had vowed to beguile His bondsmen and to inundate hell with the likes of them. Time and again it has been asserted in the Qur'aan that Allah will not give them any guidance, will not tolerate them, will not pamper them with gentle words, will not look at them on the Day of Judgement, will not even communicate with them nor consecrate them! 'They are fuel for the ferocious flames of hell in which they will abide forever!' Guidance in the Qur'aan is only for the believers, foremost of whom rank the abstemious. Whether we refer to them as those who ward off evil or who fear their Lord, these are the people who exercise strict control over their inner selves by renouncing that which is forbidden; they censure what the eyes see, the ears absorb, the mouth utters, the tongue tastes, the nose smells, the throat gulps, the heart conceals, the brain contemplates, the hands perpetrate and the legs transport; they keep a firm control over their feelings, their desires, their tempers, their actions and their reactions). 2 : 3 (3. Allatheena yu/minoona bialghaybi wayuqeemoona alssalata wamimma razaqnahum yunfiqoona) Who believe in the Unseen and establish worship and spend from the provision We have made for them - (Believing in the Unseen is believing in that which the eye does not behold, foremost of whom is the Creator of the Universe and the Lord of the Worlds, whether we refer to Him in the Arabic language as Allah, or in Persian language as khuda or in English language as God or in Sanskrit language as bhagwan. We believe in Him without daring the audacity of casting our mortal eyes upon the Immortal, - His resplendence and His aura. Believing in Allah reciprocates believing in the existence of Satan, whether we refer to him in Arabic language as Iblis, or in English language as the devil or in Sanskrit language as Yama. In the same way as existence of brightness implies existence of darkness, or as good presupposes bad and virtue postulates evil, wherever the Light of Allah goes, there follows the voids of the Devil, as is reflected in the verse 'I seek refuge in Allah from the temptations of Satan, the renegade’ by casting the name of Allah and the name of Satan in the same sentence! We also believe in the existence of Archangel Gabriel and a myriad other angels who tender tacit obedience to their Lord, 'some with two wings and some with three wings and some with four wings' and other celestial beings such as the Hurs and elemental spirits called the Jinn, who dwell on the outer plane, none of whom the eyes behold and yet it is imperative that, if we believe in Allah, we must also believe in their existence. And our faith would remain incomplete if we do not add to these the Resurrection, the Hereafter, the Garden, the Fire, the Soul and its Destiny. Establishing worship includes being punctual, being consistent, being accurate, being dedicated, being clean, being alert, being humble, keeping our minds pinned on what we are doing; keeping our thoughts focused on Whom we are addressing and keeping our souls in communion with our Creator to the exclusion of all else, - and not simply going through the motions. 'Spending from the provision which He has made for us' implies not only that which is ordained for the believers as mandatory, such as contributing a fixed proportion of our wealth towards the upkeep of the deserving called Zakaat, or sharing the cost of warfare for the Cause of Allah, but also the secondary, such as taking care of our consanguines and kinsmen, performing their final rites, playing an active role in maintenance of Allah's sanctuaries, arranging recitals of Qur'aan, celebrating religious festivals, giving alms to the suppliant, making donations towards promoting charitable causes and a host of other acts of piety, summed up in the vers2 : 7 (7. Khatama Allahu AAala quloobihim waAAala samAAihim waAAala absarihim ghishawatun walahum AAathabun Aaatheemun) Allah has incarcerated their cores, plugged their auricles and sunk their vision in a chasm of oblivion. For them awaits a most acerbic castigation. (R) (Their hearts have been rendered as indurate and impervious as the idols whom they worshipped and just as deaf and blind. It is repeatedly asserted in verses yet to come that he whom Allah sends astray, there is no one who can lead him to his goal, or to put it in other words, 'he who is bent on trekking the cinder path, no one can save him from blistering his feet!' Their punishment at the hands of Allah would be most acerbic because the punishment which they meted out to those who refused to fall into line with them was equally acerbic).verse 'whatever good you do of your own accord for the good of your soul, its lucre rests in the safekeeping of your Lord!' 2 : 4 (4. Waallatheena yu/minoona bima onzila ilayka wama onzila min qablika wabial-akhirati hum yooqinoona) And who believe in that which We have revealed to you (O Mohammed) and in that which We revealed to the other messengers before you, and who are firmly convinced of the Hereafter! (In this verse three more stipulations are set out for us for the consummation of our faith : (i) Believing in the Qur’aan(ii) believing in the Torah, the Psalms and the Gospel revealed before it, including other Revelations inspired in His messengers by Allah, whether or not they were referred to; and (iii) being firmly convinced of the Hereafter, which implies an unconditional acceptance of the Day of Resurrection when the whole of mankind would be gathered before Allah for the Rendition of their accounts, leading us either into the Garden or into the Fire, both everlasting and both depending upon what we had sent ahead of us and what we have brought along with us).2 : 5 (5. Ola-ika AAala hudan min rabbihim waola-ika humu almuflihoona) They are the people who rely on Guidance from their Lord and are therefore assured of redemption! (Guidance which teaches us how to become abstemious and remain on the righteous path after having set our feet on it, touching every aspect of our lives, - how we conduct ourselves, we behave towards one another, how we discharge our dues, what we uphold, what we enjoin, what we proscribe, whom we cherish, whom we wed, whom we trust, all in such astonishing detail that, if we manage to govern our lives in accordance with this indomitable guidance provided by Allah, there is absolutely no reason why we should not be redeemed and rewarded!)2 : 6 (6. Inna allatheena kafaroo sawaon AAalayhim aanthartahum am lam tunthirhum la yu/minoona) As for the disbelievers, it is the same thing whether you warn them or you warn them not, for they would never believe. (The disbelievers were drawn from the indigenous tribes of Arabia who subscribed to a vast variety of denominations. The main body of them were the pagan Arabs who worshipped tangible gods whom their forefathers also worshipped, such as the elements, the stars, the planets and idols whom they carved with their own hands. They followed their time honoured customs and rituals, took an active part in trade and commerce because of which their land flourished and attracted traders from many neighbouring countries.Together with their land they too flourished, wielded substantial influence on other local tribes and soon became a force to reckon with. Mecca belonged to them; the Ka'ba bore the inscriptions sacred to their religion; the idols of their gods abided on all the mountains surrounding their city, guarding them, making or breaking their fortunes, punishing or rewarding their deeds. Until suddenly there rose in their midst a mortal man whom they knew well and whose tribe was integrated with their own tribes, reviling their rituals, proscribing their deities, insulting their ancestors, laying claims to Prophethood, preaching to them the notion of One God and threatening to replace their many gods with Him. Hence they resented his audacity and decided to get rid of himTheir mission was strengthened by the addition of other groups such as Jews, Christians and the nomads, each of whom had their own reason to contain the serious threat posed by this new Prophet and the religion he preached, especially when they realized that the message he brought was so amazing and appealing that people were flocking to him in large numbers, - their friends, their neighbours, their tribes and even members of their own families!============= End of Revelation ============= Note If you are consulting the Quran you should know it came in revelations! So you will need to learn to read the Quran in Revelations, not chapters or ayats! more

And He is the One that understands the finest mysteries (and) is well-acquainted (with them). 15. It is He Who has made the earth manageable for you, so traverse ye through its tracts and enjoy of the Sustenance which He furnishes: but unto Him is the Resurrection. 16. Do ye feel secure that He Who is in heaven will not cause you to be swallowed up by the earth when it shakes (as in an earthquake)? 17. Or do ye feel secure that He Who is in Heaven will not send against you a violent tornado (with showers of stones), so that ye shall know how (terrible) was My warning? 18. But indeed men before them rejected (My warning): then how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)? 19. Do they not observe the birds above them, spreading their wings and folding them in? None can uphold them except (Allah) Most Gracious: truly it is He that watches over all things. 20. Nay, who is there that can help you, (even as) an army, besides (Allah) Most Merciful? In nothing but delusion are the Unbelievers. 21. Or who is there that can provide you with Sustenance if He were to withhold His provision? Nay, they obstinately persist in insolent impiety and flight (from the Truth). 22. Is then one who walks headlong, with his face grovelling, better guided― or one who walks evenly on a Straight Way? 23. Say: "It is He Who has created you (and made you grow) and made for you the faculties of hearing, seeing, and understanding: little thanks it is ye give." 24. Say: "It is He Who has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered together." 25. They ask: When will this promise be (fulfilled)? If ye are telling the truth. 26. Say: "As to the knowledge of the time, it is with Allah alone: I am (sent) only to warn plainly in public." 27. At length, when they see it close at hand, grieved will be the faces of the Unbelievers, and it will be said (to them): "This is (the promise fulfilled) which ye were calling for!" 28. Say: "See ye?― If Allah were to destroy me, and those with me, or if He bestows His Mercy on us― yet who can deliver the Unbelievers from a grievous Penalty?" 29. Say: "He is (Allah) Most Gracious: we have believed in Him, and on Him have we put our trust: so soon will ye know which (of us) it is that is in manifest error." 30. Say: "See ye?― If your stream be some morning lost (in the underground earth), who then can supply you with clear-flowing water?" more

Resolved Question: To Christians........?

When Jesus said "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" do you think He was referring to Psalm 22 which says, 1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from the words of my groaning? 2 O my God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer, by night, and am not silent. 3 Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the praise of Israel. [a] 4 In you our fathers put their trust; they trusted and you delivered them. 5 They cried to you and were saved; in you they trusted and were not disappointed. 6 But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by men and despised by the people. 7 All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads: 8 "He trusts in the LORD; let the LORD rescue him. Let him deliver him, since he delights in him." 9 Yet you brought me out of the womb; you made me trust in you even at my mother's breast. 10 From birth I was cast upon you; from my mother's womb you have been my God. 11 Do not be far from me, for trouble is near and there is no one to help. 12 Many bulls surround me; strong bulls of Bashan encircle me. 13 Roaring lions tearing their prey open their mouths wide against me. 14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart has turned to wax; it has melted away within me. 15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me [b] in the dust of death. 16 Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced [c] my hands and my feet. 17 I can count all my bones; people stare and gloat over me. 18 They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing. 19 But you, O LORD, be not far off; O my Strength, come quickly to help me. 20 Deliver my life from the sword, my precious life from the power of the dogs. 21 Rescue me from the mouth of the lions; save [d] me from the horns of the wild oxen. 22 I will declare your name to my brothers; in the congregation I will praise you. 23 You who fear the LORD, praise him! All you descendants of Jacob, honor him! Revere him, all you descendants of Israel! 24 For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help. 25 From you comes the theme of my praise in the great assembly; before those who fear you [e] will I fulfill my vows. 26 The poor will eat and be satisfied; they who seek the LORD will praise him— may your hearts live forever! 27 All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, 28 for dominion belongs to the LORD and he rules over the nations. 29 All the rich of the earth will feast and worship; all who go down to the dust will kneel before him— those who cannot keep themselves alive. 30 Posterity will serve him; future generations will be told about the Lord. 31 They will proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn— for he has done it. more

I have to read a scripture at my uncles funeral I cant choose between these 4: Psalm 23  1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.  2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,        he leads me beside quiet waters,  3 he restores my soul.        He guides me in paths of righteousness        for his name's sake.  4 Even though I walk        through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]        I will fear no evil,        for you are with me;        your rod and your staff,        they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me        in the presence of my enemies.        You anoint my head with oil;        my cup overflows. 6 Surely goodness and love will follow me        all the days of my life,        and I will dwell in the house of the LORD        forever. Ecclesiastes 3  1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:  2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;  3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;  4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;  5A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;  6A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;  7A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;  8A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.  9What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?  10I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.  11He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.  12I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.  13And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God. 2 Corinthians 7We live by faith, not by sight. 8We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. Plasm 116 12 How can I repay the LORD        for all his goodness to me?  13 I will lift up the cup of salvation        and call on the name of the LORD.  14 I will fulfill my vows to the LORD        in the presence of all his people.  15 Precious in the sight of the LORD        is the death of his saints.  16 O LORD, truly I am your servant;        I am your servant, the son of your maidservant [c] ;        you have freed me from my chains.  17 I will sacrifice a thank offering to you        and call on the name of the LORD.  18 I will fulfill my vows to the LORD        in the presence of all his people,  19 in the courts of the house of the LORD—        in your midst, O Jerusalem.        Praise the LORD. Please let me know which one i should do =) more

Others claim to believe the Bible, but they reject Jehovah’s organization and actively try to hinder its work. True Christians share Jehovah's feelings toward such apostates; they are not curious about apostate ideas. Resolved Question: Halloween...is it as bad as they say?

I recently acepted Christ in my heart for the 3rd time..Promise I wont let go again!! But I really love halloween. Do you think its as bad as we (Christians) say it is? I took my child trick or treating every year. I dont think its bad.Plus its my favorite holiday....Please help. My friend send me this article:Halloween is celebrated by millions of people as a fun time for kids, putting on costumes, and going door-to-door to get candy. But it is also known as a time of witches, ghouls, goblins, and ghosts. On one hand, some see halloween as a harmless time of fun and on the other, a ghastly and demonically inspired night to be avoided. As Christians, there is a lot of debate on whether or not we should participate in Halloween. Is it alright to go trick-or-treating? Can we dress our kids up in costumes on that day? If we do any of this, are we celebrating an evil holiday? The October 31st holiday that we today know as Halloween has strong roots in paganism and is closely connected with worship of the Enemy of this world, Satan. It is a holiday that generally glorifies the dark things of this world, rather than the light of Jesus Christ, The Truth. My family does not celebrate it or participate in it. We do not believe that our children are “missing out,” and neither do they. Other days are used for costumes and parties. Happily, all of our children have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We have found that Halloween provides an excellent time to remind our children that, as Christians, we are different, and not of this world (Heb. 11:13-16; 1 Pet. 2:11). exodus 22:18, you shall not let a witch live. Deut. 18:10-12-Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,11 or casts spells, or is a medium or spirits who consults the dead,12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord. more

Voting Question: Isn't this the most beautiful prayer?

O Glorious Archangel St. Michael, Prince of the heavenly host, be our defense in the terrible warfare which we carry on against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, spirits of evil. Come to the aid of man, whom God created immortal, made in His own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. Fight this day the battle of the Lord, together with the holy angels, as already thou hast fought the leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist thee, nor was there place for them any longer in heaven. That cruel, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss with his angels. Behold, this primeval enemy and slayer of men has taken courage. Transformed into an angel of light, he wanders about with all the multitude of wicked spirits, invading the earth in order to blot out the name of God and of His Christ, to seize upon, slay and cast into eternal perdition souls destined for the crown of eternal glory. This wicked dragon pours out, as a most impure flood, the venom of his malice on men of depraved mind and corrupt heart, the spirit of lying, of impiety, of blasphemy, and the pestilent breath of impurity, and of every vice and iniquity. These most crafty enemies have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church, the spouse of the immaculate Lamb, and have laid impious hands on her most sacred possessions. In the Holy Place itself, where has been set up the See of the most holy Peter and the Chair of Truth for the light of the world, they have raised the throne of their abominable impiety, with the iniquitous design that when the Pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered. Arise then, O invincible Prince, bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of God, and give them the victory. They venerate thee as their protector and patron; in thee holy Church glories as her defense against the malicious power of hell; to thee has God entrusted the souls of men to be established in heavenly beatitude. Oh, pray to the God of peace that He may put Satan under our feet, so far conquered that he may no longer be able to hold men in captivity and harm the Church. Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, that they may quickly conciliate the mercies of the Lord; and beating down the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, do thou again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the nations. Amen. more

Resolved Question: What is the best way to testify for Jesus to an Atheist?

I want so much to see Atheists saved from the clutches of Satan; I was once just such a lost soul, but the Good Shepherd brought me back into his flock, and now my feet are set on the path of purity. Jesus has taken my heart that was black with sin, and made it white as snow. If there is one word I can think of to describe myself now, it is "pure." I am made a clean virgin again for precious Jesus, and I am thankful that he has delivered me from all of the evil thoughts I previously had. When I finally meet Jesus face to face, I know I shall fall on my knees in front of him, thankful that I am at last able to show him how much I love him. I want to thank him for giving me that living water, that which has truly made me thirst no more. I gulped it down greedily, in my passion for Jesus I just couldn't get enough. And I knew he was smiling upon me as he offered up his fountain of life, as the warm, heavenly springs gushed over me like precious pearls. Indeed, I felt like an innocent virgin once again, dripping with these pearls of love, the pearls that Jesus said were not to be cast before swine, but showered upon the faithful. They covered me like a fine necklace, and I was satisfied. I felt such love when I was baptized, the warm water making my linen shift cling to me like a skin, as the minister held me in his strong arms, and welcomed me into the community of the faithful. I felt the light of joy dancing in my breasts as they swayed, dripping in the baptismal, as I crossed myself, first one breast and then the other. Such was my ecstasy at standing before the assembled brethren, in the moistness of my freshly-baptized, burning, tender flesh, that I crossed myself again and again, feeling the pleasure of letting my fingers graze ever so lightly, light as the touch of the Holy Spirit. I imagine this is how it must have felt for the Virgin Mary, when the Holy Spirit came upon her, came upon her and then she was with child. Now I am a virgin before God, too. My body feels as though a heavenly rain has poured upon it, and I spread myself wide to embrace all in my newly found purity and love. I cannot wait to work with my fellow sisters in Christ as we spread the gospel; I am indeed very anxious to spread with my sisters. As we take communion before hitting the streets, I meditate upon the body of Christ. I eat, and think of the body, and what it represents. In such pure meditation I eat, and cannot wait to eat again. My sisters in Christ are eating too, and together we eat, and thus strengthened, are ready to hit the streets. Walking the streets with like-minded ladies fills me with joy. It is nearly dusk, and we shall begin our streetwalking. I truly hope to be able to use my testimony to bring some poor Atheists to Jesus, to let them know they can come. I know they can come, because I came myself. I hope that they join me, that we can all come together, come just as we are, come before Jesus. He is ready to accept us, I know, to offer us living water, and I know we will be ready to drink. Anyway, how can I entice some Atheists by my testimony?Geez people, read it.Can anyone possibly take a minute to read this? Absolutely no one is getting it.Mythnam, so far you are the only one who has gotten it. *sigh*Thank you, Christina. :)Thanks kitten, lol. more

Resolved Question: Question for christians?

Hi guys! I just wanted to get your thoughts on a certain subject..you see Im a christian..a nondenominational christian...and today me and other people who claim to be christians also had some different opinions we were on the subject of murder and we were talking about a baby girl was raped by her uncle and father and beatens by them also by her mother her grandmother and other uncle knew what was going on yet they did nothing about it...they all get If Im not mistaken 30years but they had killed a little girl! it made me sick to my stomache to think who would do such a thing as to hurt an innocent child and they also agreed I had said that if I had the chance to show them her pain and take there lives also I would and they disagreed and said noone deserves to die even the evilest murderer I disagreed and tried to put it into there point of view and had said if it were my child I would want them dead...even if it wasnt my child even if it was a child that I had known or maybe even any child! because its wrong,if they take a childs life they deserve to have theirs taken well they had started to get a little angry with me I could tell and said someone who knows about God would try to be like him...then they said do what God would do, but if I clearly remember in the bible God had destoryed the city of Sodom because of all the wrong doings,I dont think God would cast you to hell for killing someone after they took away someone dear to you because at the time you would feel nothing but hate towards that person (at least I would and I know I would have no remorse) they still disagreed and said that if they had killed there child they would pray for them...the thing is I think many people including christians would feel as I feel.. I mean you can say you would pray for the murders and child abusers/molesters but in the end if you saw them hurt a child or knew they had tortured and killed your child, would you really be able to sit there and say well I'll pray for them?? because truthfully anyone who can murder someone and like it or have no remorse for another human being can never really change..if they do then thats really a miracle! anyways..What do you think? do you think that Im completely wrong for thinking and feeling this way..and why or why not?Ive got so many replys & I appreciate them all! Ive read threw each & every answer I had gotten back but only a few caught my eye more

Resolved Question: Once saved, always saved? What do you believe?

Thank you Jesus! Thank you Lord! " It is finished! " I've struggled with this question for quite some time. And I love the gospel of John. It answers all questions about this question. I love the bible and the word of God. And I love to grow in knowledge and understanding, that perhaps I might apply that to my life. And even to the lives of others. In the gospel of John, lots of secrets are revealed. One of them is the answer to the question, once saved, always saved. There are many verses that may seem to disprove this notion. The facts are this. For one, at some point of time, EVERYONE has questioned their salvation. Why? John explained it in his epistle. In 1 John he explains that at times our hearts condemn us(1 John 3:19-20). Why can our hearts condemn us if we have the Holy Spirit, and we are saved? The answer is when we sin, it has an effect on us. Because we do have the Holy Spirit, when we sin, we feel wrong. And if we commit a bad sin, we feel worse. Sometimes it may make us feel like we aren't saved. Why? Because we aren't following the gospel the right way. This in fact doesn't take our salvation away, but not only makes us question our own salvation, but others question it as well. The truth is, there is no sin that can separate us from the love of Jesus Christ or God. This was spoken in Romans. There is nothing that can do it. No sin, nothing said, nothing done or not done. We are eternally loved by Jesus Christ and the Father. He will not cast us out. Jesus even said it himself " all sins will be forgiven men ". He even said that calling him names and blasphemy against him would be forgiven. The only sin that would not be forgiven is knowingly rejecting him, and speaking evil against the Holy Spirit. Here is the proof in John Chapter 6. Jesus spoke these words. John 6:37-40 "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will NEVER drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose NONE of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father's will is that EVERYONE who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." Thank you Father! Thank you Jesus! You are worthy of praise! You have redeemed us from death and destruction! You have turned a blind eye to our sins. And have given us a place in your kingdom. Yes, thank you Lord! Thank you! You see. Jesus clarifies here that no one can even come to Jesus unless the Father has enabled them to. Read this. John 6:44 Jesus said. " No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day." He then said in verse 65 after some disciples deserted him(for he knew which ones did not believe and would betray him) " This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled him." So the reason these disciples deserted Jesus, is because they hadn't truly believed or been saved. They came to Jesus for earthly or political reasons. They weren't drawn in to him by God and weren't even looking for salvation. And this is why John says in his epistles " They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would've remained with us. But they're going showed that none of them belonged to us." Now we know that anyone who says " I once believed in Jesus but then left" is a liar. They never truly believed because if they had, they wouldn't have left because it is impossible for God to fail. And God's will is that none that come to Jesus will be lost. Therefore the only way that someone can come to Jesus, be saved, and then lose salvation is if God is a liar. And therefore if one does say they came to Christ but then deserted him, they're lying. They never came to Christ at all, because if they did, they would still be with Christ because God is not a liar. And all that come to Christ will be raised up at the last day for eternal life. When I saw people on here claiming to be former christians but atheists now, it kind of scared me. It made me wonder about my eternal security or if I've had any. I took many scriptures and supported my belief. But the gospel of John spells it out clear here. It is impossible for one to come to Jesus and then desert the gospel, unless they never truly did come to Jesus in the first place. The scriptures prove this. Therefore once one is saved, he or she has an eternal deposit of the Holy Spirit. It is with us forever. And we cannot lose salvation. We haven't done anything to earn it, how could we do something to lose it? Here's what Romans says Romans 8:33-35 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died-more than that, who was raised to life-is at the right hand of God and is alsBlocked the rest of my verse. But it said that Christ is interceding for us. Therefore only the one that has the power to condemn us will condemn us. And Jesus is the one with that power. And he has declared that whoever believes in him is not condemned. So even if we sin, we have Jesus interceding for us. There is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. He will not do it.Cyanide, you have to believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Did you?Jehovas witnesses don't even know Jesus. Therefore they are already deceived. Thanks for finishing that off peachfuz.Messenger of god, what god are you the messenger for? Not my God if you deny the gospel of John which has the most important verse in the whole freaking bible. John 3:16 which everyone agrees with. You mean to tell me you believe everything wikipedia says even though anyone can edit that crap? Not everything on there is legit. Even still, denying that John wasn't even there is like denying revelation is false too. Was John ever on the island of Patmos? Get out of here. more

I've seen shows on so called "exorcisms" of people that were supposed to have been "possessed" and screaming and uttering nonsense while flailing all over the place while the exorcism is taking place. It's funny how nothing seems to happen the very first time a priest asks the "evil spirit" to begone in Jesus' name. What's taking him so long? The priest might not have enough faith or just isn't good enough in the eyes of God. It's possible that priest might not be of the correct denomination. Why is that priest looked up to as a representative and a trusted speaker for God if nothing happens when HE prays and ask for something for the benefit of another person? Maybe God doesn't impose on the free will of Satan and Demons, either. I guess if God doesn't have to answer prayers, he doesn't have to banish demons in those exorcisms and let's them run rampant at the expense of his beloved children. Either that or you just can't cure crazy with Jesus. If not even God imposes on free will, then why would he allow Satan or Demons to? What about the herd of swine that was possessed by the "Legion, for we are many" demon(s)? Jesus cast the swine off of a cliff. Jesus imposed on the free will of the pigs and demons, and so did the demons by possessing the pigs. Are we no different? If they can possess animals, surely they can possess humans. The Bible doesn't say they can't. Jesus could just be a normal person that Satan possessed with a formulated plan to lead Judaism in a totally false direction known today as Christianity. Also, to say Satan was teleporting Jesus around all over the place and making him hallucinate about all the things Satan could give Jesus in the "temptation story" is giving Satan magical powers, too. What are the limits on those powers? Jesus, which could very well have been a possessed pawn of Satan, could have been using his powers for miracles to make himself seem like the son of God. The whole banishing the "Legion" demon could have been planned with his buddies ahead of time as a staged demonstration. Also since in the story he is forcing Jesus to teleport, he is imposing on his free will. I don't recall Jesus giving him permission to teleport him or even tempt him. So there's another a free will dilemma. Another thing. If not even God can know the future, how can Satan make promises to Jesus to make something come to pass in the temptation story? What would be the point of even trying to convince Jesus if it's impossible to make such promises and carry through with them in an indeterminable future. Jesus would have been a fool if he even had to fight temptation. He would have been laughing at how retarded Satan's claims were. If Satan doesn't exist, then his demon buddies don't exist, and the story in the bible of Satan, and the tempting of Jesus is completely made up. Then so could the stories of his miracles, feeding thousands, the being born of a virgin, and last but not least, the resurrection. Why is God even letting Satan roam free down here and able to mess with us at his leisure? He exists according to the bible, and so do demons. And they are able to possess animals at the very least. God does not impose on our free will, but he does demons if we ask him to in Jesus' name. Why do we have to ask for him to do something against demons in the first place? Why doesn't he do it on his own? more
