Worm Farm Instructions Questions asked

Resolved Question: how can I get my worm farm working?

We've had a worm farm for about 2 months - following the instructions, and there are definitely some healthy worms in there and they seem to be growing, but not eating my food scraps more

Voting Question: I received a 5 level worm ranch without instructions?

Resolved Question: Why are ruled by snakes? Why are bugs angels of our species? Why are we being farmed by snakes?

Since the snakes live inside us, the bugs, which they called angels, are there to inject poison in us, which poison tells the snakes how to behave and what to do. So, if your child is homosexuals, the snakes inside them, which can be males or females, have received instructions to make them act so. If your child is handicapped, the snakes inside them have made them so. The worms are miniature snakes working for the large snakes that rule the earth, their lairs. more

Resolved Question: How to breed earthworms using compost?

For a class project, I need to develop some kind of apparatus that earthworms can live inside and breed rapidly. I tried doing my own research on the subject, but the only "worm farms" that I came across were all for compost piles. As happy as I would be to promote green energy sources, this sadly is not the point behind my assignment. I need to build some type of cage or terrarium that will house earthworms and promote rapid reproduction. As I said, however, most of my research is sketchy. I am guessing that I will need some sort of large tank, lined with newspaper, a lot of dirt, some starter-earthworms, and a mild heat source. Could anyone give me some step-by-step instructions on how I would go about building a "worm farm"? Links to websites are fine, but please don't tell me just to cut the worms I have in half. I must have heard that at least 15 times today. more

Resolved Question: Tips on getting a worm farm/wormary going?

My almost six year old decided he wanted to start a worm farm so we searched for instructions via the internet. So far we have taken a plastic container and added potting soil and the dirt the worms came in (from the bait shop). We also added a bit of water, some ripe banana with the peel, and some human hair. What else will help these little creatures take off? At what temperature will they do best? I was debating on if they need to be inside or out because of the raccoons an moles that have been pesty in our yard. Thanks for any and all suggestions. more

Resolved Question: Just got a (8 wks) puppy for my wife from a farm and it has worms. We have 1 dog and 2 cats, what should i do

Vet's not open today or tomorrow. Worms are visible. Should he be quarantined pending further instruction from the vet? Bought some deworming stuff, dunno if it works or not...just got him yesterday. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks and happy holidays! more
