Open Question: Please please please! Am I a drama queen?

Hey, A lot of people call me a drama queen, and drama follows me everywhere- so am i taking that drama in, and adopting bits of it for my personality? But I've always been theatrical- is there a difference between being dramatic and theatrical? Apparently being a drama queen means making a big deal out of everything. I don't understand how I do that. I mean, if you got me a hot dog with mustard (and I don't like mustard); I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. I'd just thank you and kindly remind you to not put mustard on my hot dog next time, and then I'd just suck it up and eat the hot dog. If somebody insulted me, I'd probably pretend to sob dramatically with my hand over my heart- being very obvious that i'm just pretending. That's my version of sarcasm- it's how I express myself! But later on, (say the person called me fat), I might ask a close friend of mine if was I fat. But that's probably just insecurity (separate question: how do u get over being insecure). I sometimes worry too much, or think too much. I'm dramatic by nature- it's how I express myself, just like how some people express themselves through art, music, sports....etc. I like attention- the positive kind, not the negative kind- i'll admit that. But I'm not being dramatic just for attention- again, it's really how I express myself and who I am. Or maybe I'm just theatrical? If you gave me bad news, I wouldn't say anything- I'd react rather calmly. If I'm nervous- I'll be nervous. How would I show that? I don't parade around with an overly-expressive nervous look on my face. If you asked me if I were nervous- THAT'S when I'd use the "overly-expressive nervous face", but that's like for 3 seconds or so- after that, I'm serious again and i'll be like; "yes i'm nervous!" But my latest situation: I told my friend something, and then that friend told somebody "by accident". This isn't the first time, this is like the 5th time- I don't know why I keep trusting that person. When I confronted my "friend", he said that I was being a total drama queen and making a big deal out of everything- and how nobody would care. But the thing that I told him, was something very personal to me and I'd prefer that it'd be kept private. By everybody knowing what I told my "friend", i get attention- but the wrong kind. I'm hurt by how he'd betray me like that, and I try to make that point clear to him- but then he says all those things. (Alternate question: do you think he even is a true friend? If not, how do I break free from him??) So am I a drama queen? I know i'm giving you all so many questions, but please answer XD Thanks! Open Question: Why does a daycare serve very little food?

I work in a daycare that serves very little food. Example: One day they were served 2 small fish sticks, 1 small scoop of potato salad, 1 small scoop of green beans, 1/4 of milk in a cup not much bigger than a Dixie cup. They have it printed on the menu for the parents to see that they serve bread to the children, but they don't get it. They lie to to parents all the time when it comes to the food servings . I'm so tired of watching those children suffer through all of this torture. Another bad thing is they also put on the menu they serve the children Juice, that is a lie as well. They serve those children water down kool -aid and that is horrible, but here lately they've been only getting water to drink instead of what is on the menu. I mean come on this are older three's to 5 years of age.. They're feeding this children like their 2 years old. They're cutting corner but they're doing and it's affecting the children. Isn't it what you go into running a daycare is making the children are well fed and taken care of.. One day for snack one little boy in my class was waiting to eat his four little vanilla wafers. he was waiting on his milk. when the cook came in our room and the little boy realized she was serving them water he was upset because he wanted milk. She told him, you're getting water today, and he said but I want milk. She told him water is good for you beside it flushes out your kidneys. He just hung his head and was sad by her remark. What can be done to help those children? This is my job, but I'm still responsible for those children. Somebody out there please pray for those children in this center. I need answers more

Open Question: Americans: Tell me what you think of this (it's really sad and disturbing)?

Alright, here's the story (I'll try to keep it as short as possible): First off, I live in the city of Hamilton, Ontario (in Canada) in a slum apartment building...call it the "projects"! There is a really creepy old man down the hall, lives alone on disability but believe me, this guy is REALLY creepy (you know, with that evil smirk and big round glasses). One day, I heard a loud scream from outside in the hallway, I open the door, and there is a little girl (she couldn't have been more than 5 or 6) running towards the elevators completely naked bleeding from her vaginal area. I immediately ran out before she got on an elevator and grabbed her by the arm so I could bring her in my apartment to clean her up and find out what the hell happened! I gave her a towel, I didn't let her wash herself to preserve any possible evidence of a sexual assault. She told me that the man in apt. 1812 (the creepy old guy) had raped her and she just wanted her mommy. She gave me the number, I immediately called her mother (who lives a few floors down in the same building) and she came up to my apartment. We called the police and about 5 cops were here in less than 5 minutes, along with a worker from Children's Services. This traumatized little girl spilled her heart out explaining what had happened to her for over an hour (right here in my living room). The cops and the social worker talked amongst themselves at the doorway before suddenly leaving. The girl's mother asked "well, what is going to happen now?" and the officer replied "there is nothing we can do, we have no proof that what she is saying is indeed true." and they left. Unbelievable, I mean, she's bleeding in her private area, obviously terrified and traumatized, and they do NOTHING! I wanted an American's standpoint on this...would this ever happen in the United States? In Canada, how it works is you need concrete proof that a crime has occurred before an arrest can be made. In this case, all they had was a scared little girl's story...they didn't even talk to the old pervert down the hall. So in general, would this happen where you live? Is this a Canadian problem or can somebody actually get away with sexually assaulting a child? By the way, I apologize if I disturbed anybody... more

Open Question: very confused about religion . . . ?

okay so, i'm getting to the age now where I really want to know what religion matches my belief system, and i would like some help finding that please. lately, i've been hearing "where does your soul go after you die? does it go to heaven? does it go to somebody or something else? does your soul just end? are there ghosts everywhere?" and i was starting to think . . . i really don't believe in souls. i believe you're just physically there, with a brain and a heart and lungs and eyes. just a physical person . . . and so i guess i believe nobody goes to heaven or hell. and if we do, it's not like we feel it. can our "souls" just really go into another place like that? i believe a life starts and a life ends, and that's all there is to it. i'm just confused. can someone please help? i've been told that i'm, like, a . . . realist, or something, but i don't think that's exactly accurate. just know that i am NOT trying to offend anybody. i would really appreciate a real answer, not based on opinions, just stating the facts of what the religion is. maybe i don't even have a religion, i don't know. but if i offend anybody i'm sorry, i just really wanted to know. thanks (: more

Open Question: so im in a bad situation that involves me, my best friend and his girlfriend.?

He's been my best friend for 8 years. and while i was pregnant about 2 years ago, he told me he had feelings for me. at the time i was dating somebody and i mean, having a baby with them so we ignored it and still got along fine with no weirdness or anything. well. 2 years later, me and the guy didnt work out and now he's dating a girl that i know just isnt right for him in general and whom he fights with constantly. Well just in the past 6 months, i got a job where he's an owner of his own store and just him and i work there together 5 days a week... and sure enough, stuff has happened over the past 3 months. actually no sex has been involved, but still, not stuff you do while youre in a relationship. my huge dilemma is, that i like him so much, i mean, i love him. and he likes and also loves me too. i know he does and he's told me many times. his girlfriend doesnt know anything about me and him and i feel horrible about what we've done cuz i know its wrong. my main question is, is it even worth it to try and do a relationship thing with him if he breaks up with her, because he cheated on her, maybe he'll cheat on me. or is this just maybe something thats supposed to be and she was just the unlucky one that fell in love with someone that wasn't right for her. I'm just so confused onto what I should do right now... any suggestions would be amazing!oh and he does know my feelings for him... she was his true actual like first girl that he's been with and such so i can understand why its hard to break up from that even when you do love someone else. me and my ex were together 3 years, and even though he treated me horrible it was still so hard to move on cuz i did really still love him so much.oh and me and this guy never dated, it was me and the guy that i was dating at the time that didnt work out. more

Open Question: Could any body check my paragraph for any mistakes please and thank you:)?

My challenge was to go in a store and buy condoms. And see what reaction people had toward me buying condoms. I choose this challenge because I knew that this would be some thing really out of the ordinary for me to do. Because its not even day where I go to the store to buy condoms. The thought of me buying condoms was so frighten , so that’s way I choose to take that challenge. I was walking up to the 99cents store with my stomach swirling inside, my hands sweating dropping of sweat down to the floor, my cheeks turning red as a tomatoes. Ounces I stepped in to the store, the only thing that was in my mine was that everybody in the store was looking at me, like if they knew why was at the store for. I felt like even the little kids knew why I was there and that I was a bad women. My head was messing with me at that moment I was lost. After having my lost moment I started to walk around the lanes and then I saw the condoms in this small area in a corner. At that time I knew that nobody would be able to see me because there were in a comer so where nobody could really see them. When I walked up a problem came up to my head “ which ones” should I get. Or what about if I get the wrong size or something. I grabbing the box of condoms and started to walk up to the lines thinking what cashier should I choose and if anybody was looking at me. I saw this 30 year old lady , so I went up and I put the box of condoms in the counter waiting for her to charge me when I saw this lady with kids behind me getting her stuff out of her chart. I felt so embarrassed because I knew she was looking at me and what I was buying. The cashier looked at me right in the eyes saying $1.09. I felt so bad like if I was buying something so wrong. The lady behind me looked at me with this eyes like if I was going to kill somebody or something was wrong with me buying condoms. I paid and I felt right way with out saying anything or ever turning back. more

Open Question: How do I get the courage to talk to him?

I have been crazy about this for the longest time. I honestly think the world of him & I'm about 95% sure he knows it. He also possibly has an interest in me, but he won't speak to me. I think he's so used to girls approaching him instead, that he doesn't know how to approach somebody first. He's talked to me indirectly a couple of times, but I didn't really see it as much. Time is running out because I'm leaving school in May or sooner than that, so I need to talk to him soon if I'm going to get this started. The thing is I'm ridiculously shy & especially around him. When he's around, my mind goes blank because I'm SO nervous & I'll be speaking to my friends & it comes out all incoherently, so how am I ever going to talk to HIM & not sound like an idiot? lol Any advice you have for me, feel free to solicit. Open Question: Please help me dealing with this married man? Please don't be mean?

I know alot of you probably have read this question several times. I just wanna add that I'm not a bad person... Last summer me and this married man would stare at each other.. Like intense staring... And I would catch him staring at me he'd look away.. His wife noticed that me and him stared at they got into an argument about it.. I feel horrible about it.. It's hard for me to get over him when he lives across the street.. In Janurary was the last time that we actually looked at each other because I looked away.. Well sunday he was staring at me.. He would stare a couple of times.. And tonight when he walked out the door we stared.. And he was looking at me earlier.. I'm not a home wrecker or a whore or a bad person.. I didn't mean to fall for him.. But when I think I'm over him the feelings come back.. I wanna tell him how I feel but I know It's wrong because he's married.. So what else is there to do? I try ignoring him... But when I see him I can't stop smiling and I get really happy.. Please don't judge or be mean.. Open Question: Do you think I may have a chance?

There's this girl in one of my classes. The other day I was doing something important at a table at school, and she randomly said hi to me (though she was involved in the particular... well, the "important" thing). Then I was writing my name on a piece of paper, and she took notice - "Oh, ______ (insert my name here)" - as if she'd never known my name before. That's not to say she did, but the way she said it was very difficult to believe, and given the context, I have a very strong feeling she was pretending. Then after I was done, I was like, "well anyways, I have to go back to my lunch table." She's says bye in a fairly enthusiastic voice (a rarity for her), and I did the same to her. It was last week. Other than that, I have caught her staring in my direction before, and she looked away very quickly. I didn't make much of it because it could mean anything, and I haven't caught her looking very often, so I won't over-analyze that. What do you think? We're both generally pretty quiet people; she's newer to our school (and to the city, she came here just before the year began) and she's shy, but not antisocial. Based on what I see of her, it seems like we might have a lot in common, but I doubt it. In fact, I'll bet that before she moved, she was the type of person who was out partying every weekend. But I do like her - a lot, I mean. She's very kind, seems bright, and not to mention she's just beautiful. I'm not a particularly good-looking, self-assured guy. I try to remain subtle and not stare in her direction or come on too strongly. I want to find ways to imply my interest without making her uncomfortable. Based on what I've already said, do you think I may have a chance? I never assume somebody likes me unless they say so, or it's obvious. more

Open Question: How can I get more playing time on my ice hockey team?

I am one of the newer members of the team. We are a college team and it is a very competitive division. Yet we are a community college so we are not taken as seriously. I am kind of an introvert and dont have the nerve or arrogance as some of the other players, they view my silence as weakness though. I dont buy it though because I assert myself on a regular basis and constantly participate in any discussion etc. I dont know what it is but we have the worst coach in the league, he's suprisingly bad, not just normal bad. He has bad judgement and thinks he knows everything and constantly under or overestimates our ability in certain categories. Anyways, he only gives me about 4 minutes of playing time per game even though Im one of the better players on the team, yet he says Im one of the worst. Everybody can see I have enough skill to play more and contribute, and constantly ask me why my coach sits me so much. My coach will even say "You suck" and "You can't hit or you can't do this or that" and he's completely out of his mind. I can hit and I definitely dont suck, Im not the best on the team, but Im good enough for line 2, and definitely have enough potential for line 1. It seems like he has something personal against me and Im not sure why, usually I can put my finger on the reason somebody doesn't like me, but with him it is suspiciously hard, he doesn't put the reason for his attitude with me out there, he hides it. Anyways, I cant be like "Hey you MF'er you better play me or I'll kick you Arse!" no it wont work, he'll have me removed from the roster. I have even tried to insult him jokingly or give him criticism in a humorous manner but he doesn't take it well and it adds to his dislike of me. Yet he makes fun of me all the time. I just dont know what to do, like I dont need to be his friend, I dont need t him to apologize, for all I care he can continue ragging on me and saying I suck, but I know Im good enough to play. I just want some solid advice on how to earn more playing time on this team. How can I get him to see, even though he may not like me, he should give me fair playing time and stop letting kids he likes play more, that arent even as good or skilled as me. Some times I think he is kind of afraid of me, but I cant put my finger on why. I wish he would just chill out. more

Open Question: Does he like me? I can't tell with him...?

So me and this guy have had the same group of friends for ever and ever, but then 2 years ago he got all depressed and wouldn't talk to us, we all tried to support him and he pushed us all away so most all of us gave up. I tried to not give up but it was hard; then we had a class together the next year and we started talking again, although he still wouldn't talk to any of our other friends. We started carpooling to school and hanging out a lot, and got really close. He always goes around saying how much he hates everyone, so I finally called him out on it, and he looked at me like I was crazy and said that of course he doesn't hate me. Then over the summer we were at a party and of course there was drinking; he didn't drink, but later in the night I asked him if he was having fun and he said no, but you have to do it for somebody right? I talked to my friend about it the next morning, and she said that he was only there to look out for me, that he was watching over me the whole night (I don't remember this buuuut...only to be expected!). I went to college in the fall, and he came to visit me and I could tell he was trying so hard to be nice, by carrying my groceries and being friendly and watching his language. What does this mean?!?! more

Open Question: How do I find God in the face of such overwhelming evidence?

I'm not trolling here, I'm not spewing hate, I'm searching for truth. My best friend, my VERY BEST friend throughout Jr. High and HS, "found" Jesus after High School, went on a mission to Africa, and came back as far off the Christian deep end as one can get, to the point where I couldn't even have a conversation with him without him trying to save me from fire and brimstone. It was heartbreaking. And frankly, I envy the guy. I envy ALL people who find a way to believe that strongly in their faith. I so WISH that I could do the same, but I can't, because I use logic, and common sense, and my logic and common sense says that religion was created by man to keep people from just running around doing whatever they please, and to give people something to hold onto, because we're so freaked out by the idea of the finality of death, and that we never get to see our childhood puppy, or our Grandma again. The people who are most religious, you simply cannot argue with, because they just discount science, astronomy, geology, etc., to be a "test of faith." Really?... Look, I'm just an intelligent, educated guy, who's had friends on the most extreme of both sides of religious belief, and frankly, I just don't see how it works out. But all the religious people I know seem so happy, and I want that. I don't like to label myself an Atheist, because that denotes an active belief AGAINST God, which I'm not. I just DON'T KNOW what's true and what's not. No one does, and frankly I think that's my main problem with subscribing to religion. No one can admit that they simply don't know. It's this aggressive recruiting that religious folks do, because they "just know" that Jesus loves them, etc. How? How do they know? Usually, in my experience, they "know" because their parents "knew" or somebody who changed their life "knew" and convinced them. During one of many religious conversations with this friend, he asked me a question: "Do you love your mother?" "Of course I do," I said. "Prove it." "I...can't." "Exactly." Clever, I must admit. However, this simply reinforces the notion that religion is based entirely on faith. Please tell me how I can get this level of commitment to something that has so many holes in it. I don't rape or pillage because it's WRONG. I don't see how not having a Christian set of boundaries, means that all sense of right and wrong goes out the window.And if we want to take it a step further, more people have been killed in the name of God than for any other reason, so I ask you which is worse, to have laws and guidelines derived from common sense and a sense of the good of the community/nation/human race? Or laws and boundaries based on the belief in an invisible higher power, who also has our back when we decide to kill those who believe in a different invisible higher power than we do.Huckle -That's a very good point, and is kind of how I feel. I think there's a massive difference between faith / spirituality, and organized religion. The latter being the one I have a problem with. I think you can be spiritual, without subscribing to one organized religion or another, and I have friends who do this as well. I'm not looking for "proof" of God, I'm trying to find out what it is that compels these people to buy in so fiercely to the concept. And I feel that I must clarify, in case it isn't clear yet, that the question was really somewhat facetious; Not entirely, I'm certainly open to the concept of God, but as much as I envy the happiness of the devout, it should be clear that I am on the side of logic. Hi, Im 6 mos pregnant and so far i've gotten zero support from my bf. we have been together for almost a year and things were really good, until i got pregnant. he has been to every doctors appointment ive had which is great, but when it comes to chores or anything that has to be done around the house, he has not helped me not once. as im getting further along in my pregnancy, i have continually ask for his assistance around the house, whether its cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, anything that would help me out cuz im unable to stay on my feet for long periods of time. my boyfriend is an aspiring musician and is passionate about his music. we have a studio in our home and he spends hours and hours in there while im doing chores and such. and i will be damned if imma be somebody's maid. i keep confronting him about the hours spent in the studio and if he can just help me at least do one thing around the house. but he always get defensive with me and says "why does it have to be right this second?" or "you always want me to do it when YOU want me to" that is the most dumbest shit i ever heard from anybody. why cant he just help me out? why all this back talk and bullshit? as a pregnant woman, i should be treated with more respect than that and i strongly believe that i deserve that respect, especially after all the shit i do. i work part-time, taking classes online, raising a 4 year old, cooking and cleaning and paying bills. while he does works full time, but then comes home and works on his music, eat, fart around, and ask for some booty. i dont know what to do. please help me ppl! more

There are characters and character traits that are meant to represent things that happened in the past throughout the novella. The Queen of Hearts, Baby/Pig, and White Rabbit mirror types of people from Victorian Society, and/or events from Lewis Carroll’s early childhood. There are four ways the antagonist Queen of Hearts relates to the Queen from Victorian Society. First, she was rendered more power than the King of Hearts. She interrupted the King with orders during the jury scene, and the King wanted her to cross-examine the witnesses. The Queen in Victorian Society was physically bigger and more powerful than the King. Second, she was very irritable. Many times she shouted “off with his/her head!” if somebody did something against her wills. The Victorian Queen was ill behaved and intolerant. Third, she threatened others when they disappointed her. She threatened decapitation upon the Quarter Cards if they failed to grow a red rose bush for her. The Victorian Queen wouldn’t tolerate anything that didn’t suit her/her taste. Fourth, others did whatever she ordered them to do. Third, the baby’s cries were completely ignored. The Duchess, while she was holding the baby just sat there and did nothing to comfort him/her. Lewis Carroll wanted his parents to turn their attention from his younger sibling to him. Fourth, the baby was a metaphor for a pig. The baby turned into a pig while Alice was holding it. Lewis Carroll despised his younger siblings so much, he thought of them to be as worthless as pigs. Open Question: How long can you be in the DEP in the Marine Corps?

I hear it used to be 365 days but somebody said they extended the time period, does anybody know how long you can be in the DEP for sure? And if you can not ship out to recruit training within that time period do you just go through MEPS again and are put back in the DEP? Open Question: My man did something suspicious, should i forget it?

We had went to a sex shop over the weekend and picked up a "couples mystery pack" which amongst other goodies, had a condom in it. We both laughed at the condom because he needs magnum and this was a small one. Well, tonight cleaning out the car I find the condom wrapper, opened and condom gone. I think weird and ask him and he says he doesn't know. I ask my 10 year old girls and they're like I don't know what that is. Then we go to our poker game and I get up to check how he is doing and immediately he says "I'm sorry, twice I turned around and girls just were right there with tits showing in my face. Open Question: Dreamed about wolves in sheeps clothing... what does this mean?

I had two prophets warn me to be weary of false christians who would deceive me... or as Jesus would call them "false christs" And then I dreamt that I was back in school (I keep dreaming that I'm back in highschoo) it was an adult night class. There was this very intelligent, successful, humble doctor that everybody liked and respected taking a class there... he had a 98% overall average in highschool and epitomized moral goodness and virtue... He was wearing a business suit the same type of uniform he always wears to church... and in my dream... I was taking on his body, and controlling his mind... that is in my dream... I was a man (in real life I am a woman) We were working on a late night project, something artistic and related to making art forms... One was a wreath which I made in class on the day it was due and succeeded in (while everyone else took their wreiths home with them) the other assignment we made was an octagon / pentagon, where we were supposed to draw and add certain things to it... I made the second on on time as well even though I was late... and my partner was worried I would not get it down. Then as we were at class late night, some guy who reminds me of a former drug dealing friend that I had who had the hots for me 2 years ago... (a very ugly, poor, agressive heathen guy that had no religious belief and slept with any thing with two legs) Well he came to our school and told us that he had something to tell us... I asked what it was about and he said he wanted revenge... I got an eery, uncomfortable, feeling that a murder or something horrible was about to take place so I left the school, and drove off. Well I was trying to escape this guy, he brought some of his friends along who were also looking for revenge. I learned over time that he likes to start confrontations with others, and slanders his chosen victim to his friends so that he can get people to gang up on them and beat them up... and that there was no moral basis for why he was angry at the people he was angry at. I tried to escape him in a tunnel... that was very short but he got to the other end, and trapped me... somehow I managed to evade him and he was on my pusruit again. And then god revealed to me that when He was talking about the "fruit" of the prophet by which you would recognize who was a sincere prophet and who was not, he meant that the offspring of the prophet... That is if the words of the prophet bring you closer to God, or His will for your life then they are a real prophet... if the words of th prophet bring you further away from him, then the prophet is a false prophet. And God also revealed to me... that the Chrsitians who did not want me to join them in church (because they thought I was unworthy of God's love) were false prophets... because their speech (you don't belong here) was designed to bring me further away from God. And then I started to think that all these false prophets (people who tell me I have no right to seek or believe in God or fellowship with people who believe in him) were actually wolves in sheeps clothing... And then I realized that the people who pursued me.... (that is the ones who want God to puinsh me for my sins and pay for my mistakes) were like the Davey's who were out looking for revenge. I also realized that a prophet in this context is not necessarily somebopdy who divines words from God, but simply somebody's whose speech is designed to represent God... For example a Christian who says "God never punishes anybody." is a false prophet... even if they do not claim to have prophetic abilities. Now this is what I can't figure out... I don't have any friends but God keeps warning me over and over again to be wary of false christs and false prophets... so who exactly is he talking about since I dont have any friends anyway? And why am I being so heavily pursued by Davey who wants revenge? Later on he continued to pursue me... and got all of his friends to pursue me.... and the only way that I managed to escape... was by driving to another provine... far in the east coast... like Prince Edward Island or something and then driving slightly back... and taking a round route so that none of the cars that were pursuing me would find me? Can you pray about this and tell me what you sense about this dream that I had? more

Open Question: At what point does trust turn to naivety in a long distance relationship?

I know trust is important in any relationship, but in a LDR its obviously a lot more so than a standard relationship. Its been about a month for me and (screw cliches) I'm crazy about this girl, and I'm convinced this is at the very least something special and I am more than willing to make changes to my college plans (as in "where", not "if") if it means ultimately being with her. Would I be naive to believe that she is staying 100% loyal like I am? I mean trust is obviously a good thing, but should I be a little more suspicious and the like, or should I just go with the assumption that she feels the same? I would hate to find out via skype, as some big ol jock-y asshole walks out of her bathroom in a towel. I'm pretty sure she DOES feel the same though, a month's worth of texting throughout the school day, an hour or so of skype, and about 4 hours of IM is both insane and unhealthy. Luckily we're both smart and fit, so we make the addiction work I suppose. I'm normally a die hard pessimist, so I'm probably just channeling all that optimism thats been due for years into this one thing. And here's a bonus question(s)! How long, and don't bother answering "it just dont work", do you think a long distance relationship can last before permanently being together? For us it would realistically be about a year, if we're both willing could this actually work out or are we just fooling ourselves? Im a girl, im NOT a lesbian, I know that for a fact. ANYWAY, when im alone, i dress up like a guy. Open Question: What are the odds of an entire team getting wiped out in a plane crash?

Lets face it boys and girls,planes can and do crash sometimes,its dangerous out there and somebody gonna get hurt,what with playing so many matches and tours dont you think that the statistical probability of an entire team getting wiped out would be much higher than one individual who flies once every couple of years? Do you think they should take precautions against this happening,like splitting the team into 5 and taking 5 seperate flights? Open Question: Nice way to tell someone they should see a shrink?

I believe my wife has issues. She has told me that she doesn't trust me yet she continues to stay with me. We have been married now for 14 years with kids and she only told me the trust factor a week ago. During our marriage I have only been intimate with one woman (her) and will continue so until we are no longer a couple. I know she has and will do the same. I tell her everything, yet she seems to tell me nothing except about other peoples lives and behavior. She gets agitated very easily, especially when it comes to peoples driving. She has also told me in the past that I can not drive her car but when I tell her she can not drive my car she ignores my wish. I think she should talk to somebody and relieve/confront the stress/tension/anxiety that has built up inside her but how do you do that without creating a scene? more

Open Question: Do you think she wants to get to know me better?

There's this girl in one of my classes. The other day I was doing something important at a table at school, and she randomly said hi to me (though she was involved in the particular... well, the "important" thing). Then I was writing my name on a piece of paper, and she took notice - "Oh, ______ (insert my name here)" - as if she'd never known my name before. That's not to say she did, but the way she said it was very difficult to believe, and given the context, I have a very strong feeling she was pretending. Then after I was done, I was like, "well anyways, I have to go back to my lunch table." She's says bye in a fairly enthusiastic voice (a rarity for her), and I did the same to her. It was almost flirtatious, looking back on it now. It was last week. Other than that, I have caught her looking in my direction before - one time when I looked, she looked away very quickly. By itself, that's meaningless, and I haven't caught her doing it too often so I'm not reading too far into this. What do you think? We're both generally pretty quiet people; she's newer to our school (and to the city, she came here just before the year began), and she is timid but not to such an extent where she is a recluse; like me, she's quiet but not antisocial. Based on what I see of her, it seems like we might have a lot in common; maybe I'm just saying that to myself to try and envision it to be better than it is. I think we're a bit less alike than I'd like to think - in fact, I'll wager that before she moved, she was the type of person who was out partying every weekend, was NEVER home on a Friday night, and had gone out on a lot of dates. But I do like her - a lot, I mean. She's very kind, seems bright, and not to mention she's just beautiful. But I'm not necessarily the most good-looking guy out there: she's slim, but I'm slightly big (not horribly so, but slightly). Every day when I sit behind her in class, all I can think about is how much I'd love to give her a hug. Yet I try to remain subtle and not stare in her direction, or come on too strongly, or anything like that. I'm trying to figure out ways to get her attention and imply my interest in her without making her uncomfortable. Based on what I've already said, do you think I may have a chance? I mean, I like to pick up on things, but I would never assume somebody likes me unless they say so, or it's plainly obvious. more

Open Question: can somebody please help me?

sorry if this is long but i have been dealing with this for a long time. since i was 14 (I'm 19 now) i have had very strange symptoms that ruin my life. i remember it started when i inhaled a piece of food. i couldn't breathe and i never coughed it up either it just went away but i felt very strange for the next few hours. since then Ive had bizarre symptoms that have gotten worse. here are some. i cannot walk up very steep inclines or else my heart beats very fast and i cant breathe i cannot do pull ups or my heats goes crazy and irregular ( i can do any other workout just not that motion) when in water over chest deep i have an uncomfortable pressure in my chest and my heart skips beats sometimes i get random very fast heartbeats that make me shake and feel cold pressure in my neck every once in awhile i get very irregular beats that freak the crap out of me they last like 30 seconds at night when i lay down my heart feels weak and beats "shallow" an i cant breathe until i sit up wake up at night gasping for air pressure in my head that makes make feel a little woozy and unsteady stomach bloating burping which makes my heart feel better ringing in ears and eye floaters ( might be totally unrelated) i wake up skinny and by the end of the day I'm feel fat and flabby ( maybe its normal) please let me know if you have any ideas or if you have been through something similar. I am my mom's fav. (never believed her) my dad adores my sister. We don't have the same father. My brother have more respects for my sister, not me. I am 39 and deaf and she is hearing age 29. My son likes my aunt becos she is easy going. I am tough on my boy and her daughter so they don't really like me that much. I had a break down becos I realised i am not special like my sister. Me and her friends are buying her a TV. She'd asked her ex boyfriend - now her best friend for an Ipod. I am getting a bit fed up with her becos it seems like she is trying to be better than me. She is working, she got a best friend who still love her alot yet she doesn't want him back. Anything she asked of him, he would do it or buy her whatever she want. I was so jealous becos I neva had that experience myself. My date didn't turn up last week and tough I was upset, I was really ok with it. I was over it the next day so i wonder why am i like this? more

I just saw a person write that in response to a question that they thought was too insulting to religious people. How can somebody consider themselves an atheist and a Buddhist at the same time? Do these people think that Buddhism is like a non-alcoholic beverage, you know, the religion one joins when one doesn’t want to be religious? Aren’t there some pretty crazy, superstitious and absurd tenets within Buddhism? Like the belief in reincarnation and the belief that a two year old kid can be the reincarnated spirit of some long dead fat guy who mediated under a tree or something like that? And don’t give me that crap about an atheist can be “anyone who doesn’t believe in a god.” That’s the text book definition of an atheist whereas in reality, the definition of an atheist is a skeptic who rejects superstitious nonsense and rejects the absurd assertions made by superstitious and religious fools. more

Open Question: I need a job..But I have certain demands because I can't do anything else.?

I have no control over it..Sure, I come home exhausted..But come nightfall, i'm not tired anymore..In fact, I'm hyper..And I don't snack on sugary foods, or any sugary drinks..I spend the day listening to music, and reading,..But when it's night, I do everything..I shower, I do my hair, I brush my teeth, I listen to music, do HW, do research, and I get to bed by about..3-4 in the morning.I'm 16, and while this MAY seem like it does a number on me, it doesn't. I gotta say..I feel great! It doesn't make me stressed at all. I've been living on this schedule as far back as I can remember..Earlier then age 7, even. Another thing I love doing is running..My family hasnt had the money to let me join gyms..I don't see the big deal, I want to join a gym, but they won't let me..Now, I'm back in my PE class, and its been so long since I ran.. So long that..I waked a mile today..I half walked/half sprinted..And it just felt so good, I could keep going on forever..But then the bell rang that schools over. So I've been looking for a job.. My dad tells me I can't do a day job, because the day is when I relax..My dad offered me a job where I could deliver newspapers at 4 in the morning..I love the idea but.. I'm an independent person..I want to do my job myself..It's not arrogance or anything..I've just lived my whole life doing my own thing, being alone, and I love it that way..Even my IEP is independent. I mean, even my teachers know I'm an independent learner, so they mostly let me do my own thing. I was going for jack in the box, but..All that running around in the daytime, cramped in that small space, flipping burgers, and whatever else there is? That's not me..Sorry..And yeah, okay..Maybe I am being too demanding, but that's too bad..My parents, my teachers, everyone I know, they support my independence.. And I have always BEEN independent..Call me what you wish, but some of us live differently then others..I see an opportunity to do my own thing, and I take it..And if there's no opportunity, I make it myself. So yeah..I figure.."Hey, since I stay up all night, why not go out and spend that time earning money?" So here I am..Asking this question, and hoping this community has some answers for me. Well,a few days ago my 'friend' starts walking with me and my best friend and after a few minutes of talking,my best friend asked me the names of somebody,I couldn't remember so my 'friend' yells the answer and I say "how'd you know that?" and my 'friend' says "Well, I remember because you guys have been talking about it and ignoring me!!" and stops off.Then a day later my best friend and I tell her that we should take some time off.Now every time I'm near her she always looks mean.My other best friend told me she mouthed "I hate you" after I turned around. Open Question: Please I desperately need help...Christians please, no atheists.?

Well I'm a 14 year old girl Christian and I love my Lord, but lately I've been having some extremely bad thoughts about him. I've been recently think that He's evil...because I've been thinking about it, God made us, but why? To serve him. Really what's the point of that? Then he goes and makes us suffer in life, and completely punishes us and kills us if we slip up even once. (talking about O.T.) Then you start to notice how people get further away from Him because of this, and He realizes it. He starts to be all "nice and loving" and sends His son to die on the cross for our sins, so now people see Him as being "the wonderfully gracious loving God". (talking about N.T.) Why didn't God just kill Satan before he attacked mankind with sin? If you think about it, it was all in God's plan. It even says in the Bible how everything is a part of God's plan. So then technically, God wanted us all to sin so that we had to rely on Him even more, to make Himself look better! He made us to SERVE HIM, yet he says pride is a sin. Then technically God is sinning every second of the day because of His pride. Now I know, "God is perfect and it doesn't count for Him." Well the Bible says to try to be as much like God as you possibly can, which means that you would have to be very prideful. God proclaims He "loves us" yet he intentionally makes us suffer in our life to test our faith. If you ask me, that sounds like an insanely evil thing. Just sitting up there in Heaven toying with his humans to entertain Himself, and he expects us to thank Him for it. If somebody stabbed you in the gut with a knife and beat you to near death, would you say, "Thank you so much, you are so kind to me and forgiving!" Um...I don't think you would. Christianity can be extremely dangerous as well, you know, the Christians who have such a low self-esteem and constantly suffer themselves to try to please Christ, and they fall into depression because of their lack of self-worth. I honestly was one of those people, and once my first boyfriend of 11 months broke up with me, I drifted away from God majorly, and I've never been happier. But honestly... God... He kills so many people in the Old Testament, and it even says that He hardens the enemies hearts. WHAT IN THE WORLD! If He really cared about the evil people and their coming to Him, then wouldn't He want to soften their hearts? This again shows His toying with humans out of evil boredom. I love Jesus, but not God. Unlike God, Jesus is actually loving and caring. God punishes and tortures us. Then you see how because we are Christians, when we die (or are raptured) we will go to Heaven. God creates us to serve Him and suffer in life, and if we slip up we are punished, even if we realize our errors and really will never do it again. Then when we die, our reward for being his followers is to go to Heaven, a place where we can eternally serve God and Jesus happily. Oh yes of course, our reward is to serve God forever. How surprising. I really hate saying all of this stuff though, because I'm a Christian! I hate having these bad thoughts toward God...it makes me feel horrible and I can feel the Holy Spirit convicting me! Please help... (sorry this was so long) more

Open Question: When you move out of your foreclosed home, is there such thing as moving out allowance?

I know somebody that moved out of her foreclosed home, when the new owner contacted her for her to turn in the keys, she actually got monetary allowance for moving out. is this a law or is the new owner just being nice about it? i actually know a couple of people and this is what happened. So when I called my lender and asked about who to turn the key to, th e representative is very arogant asking why are we still in the property in the first place. And that I dont need to turn the key to anybody. more

Open Question: Why Is The Spider III A Bad Amp?

Can somebody tell me all of the reasons why people think this amp is bad? I've only ever played this and a Crate 4x12 Flexwave, so I can't tell why people say it is. I'm not really sure what a good tone is supposed to sound like, since I haven't played many amps. It seems like I can get any tone I want with it, but regardless of the settings, I always get a stray noise when I tap or something. To describe the noise, it makes the sound it would make when you push down on the strings with your hand, and let go. My treble is very low, and I still get it. It's on the "insane" channel, by the way. Is that noise coming from my technique, or the amp? Thanks. more

Open Question: Creepy dream interpretation?

Sorry for the length, but there were a lot of details in this dream, also, Ive been having this dream once or twice a month since january. Can anyone help interpret? This couple (Probably late 20s or early 30s) is separated and its the fathers turn to take care of the 7 or 8 year old daughter in his apartment. After the woman leaves, she shortly after goes back for some reason to find the daughter playing in the stairwell. The woman brings the daughter back to the apartment room and yells "Hey, what the F-" as the man (who looked completely fine as she walked in) looks up with tears in his eyes and says " Im so sorry" opening his hands which were in lightly clenched fists on his knees as she walked in, to show lots of blood to suddenly start dripping out of his hands. The woman goes down on one knee and puts her arm around the daughter as if to hold her from running around. The man then falls off of the couch and onto his knees, cups his hands and feels the womans face, still with tears in his eyes, and appears to start collapsing, but only leanead forward slightly, scaring the wife and daughter to get scared and jump away and behind him. Then as they watch from behind him, a man in robes who the wife and daughter couldnt see, but I saw several times throughout, pushes a sword through the mans body, showing the wifes perspective as well, where the man cant be seen. The mans hands are faced outwards on his side as the sword is slowly pushed through him, with the wife screaming in tears " Why are you doing this to yourself!" All I thought of about it was having "blood on his hands" like the saying about somebody killing someone else, and getting the blood on the wifes face like he did it for her, other than that I cant think of anythingOne more wierd thing, I find it wierd anyways, is that the blade doesnt have blood on it and it looks sort plastic more
