High School Musical 2 Videos Questions asked

Resolved Question: Can you recommend me some movies like these to get from Netflix ?

I have seen and enjoyed the following movies on Netflix. I am including the plots, so even if you haven't seen it, you can still help.I am looking for movies that you would recommend someone who enjoyed these movies. Not just the latest award winner, or a list of top 200 or whatever to see in life.Recommendations that make you say "you liked that movie, you will like this movie) 1.Series 7: The Contenders (Thriller) Meet some real survivors! In the near future, six average citizens are chosen by random lottery to kill each other for the viewing enjoyment of millions. The game continues until one survivor is left standing. A cutting-edge satire from tabloid TV producer Daniel Minihan, The Contenders is a wry statement on the cultural void engendered by the boob tube. 2.Rounders (Drama) Fueled by his penchant for high-stakes gambling, law student Mike McDermott (Matt Damon) befriends and "befoes" a fellow gambling addict named Worm (Edward Norton) and club owner Teddy KGB (John Malkovich). But tensions run high when Worm and Mike have only five days to come up with $15K. Gretchen Mol co-stars in this John Dahl-directed drama, whose superb cast and well-developed characters made Rounders a hit on the festival circuit. 3.Joy Ride (Thriller) It's all fun and games when two brothers (Paul Walker and Steve Zahn) take off on a cross-country road trip to bring home a pretty college friend (Leelee Sobieski). But the jokes end when a prank backfires and they find themselves stalked by a vengeful trucker. It soon becomes clear that the relentless psycho won't give up his chase until somebody pays with their life. John Dahl (Rounders) directs this twist on Steven Spielberg's Duel. 4.Home Room (Drama) A small town is rocked by a shooting at its high school that results in nine deaths and serious injury to one popular female student, Deanna (Erika Christensen). As a detective (Victor Garber) looks for those responsible, his concentration turns to a defiant outcast named Alicia (Busy Phillips). With her involvement still in question, Alicia visits Deanna in the hospital, and the two forge a rare bond over what they saw that fateful day. 5.Pieces of April (Comedy) Reformed wild child April Burns (Katie Holmes) attempts to make Thanksgiving dinner -- while battling a temperamental oven -- for her estranged suburban family at her grungy New York apartment and anticipates introducing them to her new boyfriend, Bobby (Derek Luke). Oliver Platt, Sean Hayes and Oscar-nominated Patricia Clarkson co-star in this drama that observes a dysfunctional family coming together to address the past and heal the future. 6.Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (Musical) When he's not busy breaking the law or trying to get close to his secret crush, Penny (Felicia Day), supervillain wannabe Dr. Horrible (Neil Patrick Harris) boasts about his exploits via his Internet video blog and dreams of defeating his nemesis, Captain Hammer (Nathan Fillion). Conceived during the 2008 Hollywood writers' strike, Joss Whedon's quirky musical comedy originally debuted as an online miniseries. 7. Daria: The Movie: Is it Fall Yet? (Television) Serving as a bridge between the animated MTV show's fourth and fifth season, this full-length feature follows the droll, sardonic title character through the summer before her senior year of high school. While she serves as a counselor at a sad day camp, Daria is torn between loyalty for her best friend, Jane, and a relationship she's building with Jane's ex-boyfriend. Meanwhile, Daria's vapid sister, Quinn, tries to prove she's not dumb. 8.The Lucky Ones (Drama) Three soldiers injured in the Iraq War return to native soil, only to find that their tour of duty has taken its toll on the home front. Hoping to repair their tattered lives, Colee (Rachel McAdams), Cheaver (Tim Robbins) and T.K (Michael Peña) set off on an impromptu cross-country road trip. While Colee seeks to repay her dead boyfriend's family, Cheaver dreams of a big win in LasVegas, and T.K. tries to regain his confidence. 9.Misery (Thriller) Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates) rescues her idol, romance novelist Paul Sheldon (James Caan), after he crashes his car during a fierce blizzard. But when she finds out he plans to kill off the heroine in his next volume, Annie morphs from nurturing caregiver to sadistic jailer. In this tightly wound, suspenseful adaptation of Stephen King's novel, Bates earns her Best Actress Oscar as a woman come undone in a claustrophobia-inducing house of horrors. 10.Good Will Hunting (Drama) Will Hunting (Matt Damon) spends his days as a janitor at MIT, but the aimless young man is also a mathematical genius. So when his talents are discovered, a therapist (Robin Williams) helps Will confront the demons that have been holding him back. Damon and co-star Ben Affleck -- who appears in a small role as Will's bes more

Resolved Question: What are some good names for this band/group?

I'm forming a musical group with 5 other friends in high school (We're all Freshmen). These are the members that we will have: -1 Lead Singer+Dancer=Me (And I will occasionally play the keybpard) -2 Back-up Singers -1 Rapper -1 Guitarist The genres of music we will play and write are Pop, Hip Hip, Classical Hip Hip, and R&B. We're looking for a cool name that hasn't been used before and that involves a number for the amount of members we have in our group. For example, there was a Jackson 5, the Three Stooges, The Brett Domino Trio (All of those indicate the number of members that they have). We need something to go along with 5. We plan on becoming famous since we attend a performing arts high school that teaches us and gives us hands-on experience with making music videos & CDs. You can send in as many name suggestions as you want /can. Thanks! : ) more

Voting Question: Do you think I have a good chance of getting into Emerson College?

Hey, I'm currently a junior in high school and I'm wondering if i have what it takes to get into Emerson College in Boston? which has always been my dream school. Well my high school GPA right now is about a 3.47 and i take pretty all really hard classes. 1 AP right now, and I'm taking 2 next year when I'm a senior. For my ressumme I was part of my school's musical my freshman and sophmore years. I also have been working/volunteering at my town's TV station for a pretty long time now. I'm videographer with sporting events/local rock concerts (where i also control audio), I edit events for the station, I'm a production assisant with some of thier productions, and I'm also a news correspondant for my town's weekly news. I also have been working at an arts camp (where i also attended as a little kid), at the camp I assissant in teaching 9-12 year olds the basics of film and TV pro and then we make short films of thier choice. I also edit all their videos for the camp. The guy who runs the camp is a Yale theater graduate student (he's friends with Paul Giamatti and Ed Norton, haha good connections hopefully lol.) He like loves me (or atleast people tell me he does...) and I work with him with all the video classes. I also teach on Stop-motion animation and "Radio" class there. I also attended a summer camp for 2 summers (8th grade/9th grade summers) which is like considered a pretty prestigious camp where i took a TV pro class, a reading class, Improv class, and a current events class. I also just co-founded my high school's TV Club a few months ago. I'm the co-officer of the club and I pretty much control the whole club (don't wanna sound cocky but I am the most motivated with doing everything in the club.) In the club, I'm the producer of the club's cable TV show, and also head writer/monologue writer, and co-editor. I'm also producing my own local cable TV comedy talk show this coming summer (I'm a HUGE Conan fan so i'm pretty pumped for it.) I've also been hired to make 2 corporate videos before for online newsletters. One was for the NHL Winter Classic in Boston and i just did one for the Boston Marathon. I've also been a team leader, director, producer, writer, and editor for 2 films before in the 48 Hour Film Project. (one in Providence, and one in Boston.) I'm doing another Providence one this summer. My other hobbies consist of making short films, photography, play bass in band (mostly just for fun), and writing (i do write mostly comedic stuff, like SNL skits and monologue jokes, this is probably my favorite hobby.) I also have a few other small things to add to my resume by they're pretty mini. ...But despite even if my ressume may be pretty decent, there is still one problem, i completely BOMBED my SATs, like horribly, i got a 1470 (combined all 3 sections). I know pretty bad. But the odd thing about my scores is that they made no sense what so ever to who I am as a person. I scored highest on math even thou math has ALWAYS been my weakest subject, and i score lowest on the writing section, (which makes no sense at all because i love writing and I've always been considered a pretty good by the people i know. i scored high on the writing essay part but then reallllyyyy low on the writing multiple choice.) But idk, i may just not be a good test taker, But do you people still think i may have a chance with getting into Emerson College? P.S. sorry for all the spelling and grammer mistakes, it's late right now more

Voting Question: Feedback on my singing video?

Just 2 videos I made for fun. I want some feedback on my voice- I'm 16, a soprano, and had very little training although I'm currently enrolled at a Performing Arts high school for "broadway vocals". My focus is Musical Theatre. it's not my best, and I know the sound quality isn't great- but I'm just curious. Thanks so much for your time! Resolved Question: Please advise...I can't stop playing video games!?

I'm a sophomore in college, and it's pretty sad. I just never got used to the whole "college" thing where you actually have to study for classes. I breezed through high school with a 3.9 gpa by studying for tests basically 1 hour before we had to take them. Now I'm doing bad in college, but I can't force myself to study! I'm a computer science major, and I know quite a lot about computers. When I'm not playing video games, I'm on newegg.com looking at the latest graphics cards/processors :P. But I waste so much time playing computer games, and as I think about it when I'm in bed, I hate myself so much for it. People say playing sports and board games can help, but sure, I go play tennis and soccer for 2 hours, and then I go right back onto video games when I come back! I was so frustrated once, that I code a virus on my own computer that automatically terminates any games when they run. But a day later, I promptly cracked and erased my own virus. Yes I know - it's so pathetic. If I don't play computer games, I feel so bored with life and depressed. But when I do play video games, I do bad in my classes and hate myself for it! Is there anything that can help me??? (And no, I can't go get a girlfriend because I have no life and horrible social skills. And...no, I can't go play a musical instrument because I already play piano and I can only do that for about 30 min) more

Resolved Question: Do you have to take algebra in highschool if you want to study musical theatre in college?

Okay so i'm a sophomore in high school, and i just was diagnosed with depression. And it all seems to lead to algebra. I just talked with my Doctor and she actually said, it would be better if I didn't take algebra (since I'm struggling with it so much, I'm getting an F) and starting taking the resource class. She asked me what i wanted to study in college and I said musical theatre and acting. She told me she didn't think that I had to take algebra if I wanted to do that. She also told me to look online to see if that was the case. I just took the past 2 hours looking online to see if I had to take algebra or not to get into musical theatre at a decent college, and I couldn't find anything! I have good grades in all my classes (except for algebra obviously), I'm not a trouble maker, and I help out the community a lot, it's not like I'm a bad student, its just, i suck majorly at math. If someone could help me out, that would be greatly appreciated. I want to be a broadway singer more than ANYTHING! But if I have to take algebra, i'm screwed. I have had over 10 tutors (3 professionals and the rest were A students in my school) and I have had disks, videos, teachers and anything you can think of help me. I'm Absolutely helpless. -XmisshanaXLet me add that it wasn't just the math that caused the depression i guess i was a little unclear on that. There's a bunch of stuff going on with my life lately, but the amount of stress that has been going on lately has to do with school. So i guess i worded it wrong, yes i'm depressed, but no it's not because of math. I'm just very stressed and having anxiety because of math. Sorry... more

Resolved Question: E.L.F Eyes Lips and Face Customers?

Okay, so I asked a question like this before...and I got 2 really good answers...okay I'll start from the begining. I recently found out about the e.l.f site and I was like so excited! But now my mom thinks that it's going to be crap. And that it's going to like make my face explode because it's so cheap. I did tons of research. Everyone says that for the price, it's excellent. And the only bad ratings were that the powder was too loose and one brush was too hard. But I'm not even planning on getting either of those. I watched youtube video after video. Read review after review. I finally told her that it's fine to buy. And she still is like "Maybe we can find it at target and try it out" 1st of all, from what I've heard, at target, you can only buy gift sets. and 2nd of all, my mom NEVER gets me stuff online. And it pisses me off because it's NOT expensive. And she buys my older sister (4 years older) singing lessons EVERY WEEK. And I don't have any expenses like that. I don't want to tell her that, but it's true. The only thing that she really buys me that she doesn't buy everyone else is soccer stuff during the season, even then I have to bug her, and that doesn't nearly add up to weekly singing lessons and my sister's high school musical season. Okay, now I'm just rambling on. Anyways, how can I convince her? Thanks! A TON! (P.S. post the link for your questions in your answers, I'd love to answer them) more

(most plan on going to a local community college),my mom never went to college, and i avoid my dad unless i need money. I avoid my councilor for many reason, the first being, she gives absolutely no good advice. I once had a question about my schedule (what period is lunch-it is combined with a period, i did not know(freshman)), she replied i should take lower level classes, otherwise i would be showing off, yeah right. i have a meeting with a college advisor this weekend( go over resume) I went to one before to talk about potiental colleges, which will be best, stuff like that. I just want to get an idea on what i need to embellish, what is needed to tone down. what are the out right flaws, etc. Obviously, most advice here is useless, but i figured i probably could get at least one good answer. more

Resolved Question: Pop/rock Broadway songs...?

In theatre we have to put together a portfolio with twenty monologues and five pieces with sheet music for college musical theatre auditions. (I'm in high school.) I've decided on using six songs, (three soprano, three mezzo-soprano ; three ballads, three up-tempo). Musicaltheatreaudition.com suggests having one song from these queries: contemporary, comedic, early Broadway, easy piano, operatic, and pop/rock. I have chosen songs depending on what best suits my voice, which I have gone over with my voice teacher and theatre teacher's assistant. I've also looked at every selection from the Singer's Anthology for both Sopranos and Mezzo-sopranos...not a lot has "spoken" to me. I have a strong operatic soprano voice, with a very flexible mezzo-soprano range. I need: * 2 mezzo-soprano songs * both up-tempo * 1 pop/rock style * 1 easy piano for dummy accompanist Any suggestions? Please no Wicked, RENT, or Grease...way too overdone. :o) Also, I am contemplating "You'll Never Walk Alone" from R&H "Carousel" and "This is My Beloved" from "Kismet" for my early Broadway selection. Which one may benefit the project for theatre more? Here is a video of me singing, if this helps any: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_01O8L7YOuI Thank you so much!Thank you, Miss Redcom! Here are my selections as of now: Art is Calling for Me - The Enchantress soprano, comedic, up-tempo Someone Like You - Jekyll and Hyde mezzo-soprano, contemporary, ballad ***This one will not change, it is my absolute BEST song and has already gotten me 3 solos*** Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again - Phantom of the Opera soprano, operatic, ballad ***Webber overdone or not, it shows off my soprano voice best*** This is My Beloved - Kismet soprano, early Broadway ballad You'll Never Walk Alone - Carousel soprano, early Broadway, ballad more

Resolved Question: Worst 10 Movies Of The Decade?

In your opinion, what are the 10 worst movies of the last decade? Ten points for the most detailed and descriptive answer. I spared Twilight in mine, simply because it (and it's novel) are worse beyond any description. My list: -10. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - Racist, childish, and even worse than its bottom-grade prequel. -9. Hostel: One of the first in a tradition of crap, gore, and wasting of space. -8. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince: About as faithful to the book as Benedict Arnold was faithful to the American Revolution. -7. Norbit: God forgive them. -6. Resident Evil: The awful flick that started the trend. 100% of video game-based movies are now terrible. -5. The Time Traveler's Wife: Appear out of nowhere, have mushy scene, make out, have sex, get married/have child, repeat. -4. The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer: Didn't they learn to stop after their first awful film? -3. The Ugly Truth: Why do women do this to men? Just the movie's logo was offensive. -2. High School Musical: Not worth a penny or a second of your time. Comes close to being "worth committing suicide over." -1. The Notebook: Thanks to this movie, I can gargle in wasted female tears for the rest of my life. It's not sad. It's not romantic or touching. It's simple exploitation of emotional overload and sexual undertones. more

Resolved Question: Where can I find a Camp Rock bonus DVD?

On YouTube, there are alot of videos of Camp Rock behind the scenes, being Behind The Scenes with Alyson Stoner, and behind the scenes of "We Rock", "What It Takes", "Too Cool", and "Start The Party". Everyone keeps saying they were a bonus DVD from either Target ot Wal-Mart, but I can't find it. We don't have a Target in out area, but we do have a Wal-Mart. I tried looking at Wal-Mart for it, but couldn't find it. I've also tried looking online @ Amazon.com, Target.com, and Walmart.com, but no such luck. I'm wondering if it's some exclusive DVD, like a Wal-Mart or Target exclusive. Back in late 2007, at Wal-Mart, we went and bought High School Musical 2 on DVD, which had a bonus DVD attached to it, wrapped in plastic wrap. I know this is pretty long of a question, but I wanted to add as much detail as possible. Thank you very much for reading, your comments and answers will be very greatly appreciated! Voting Question: Is it possible to either major in three things or to major in one and double minor?

I am in High school (with ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, OCD, and slower processing speed), and I'm really smart and am in all honors or AP but 1 class and history, and my GPA is ok. My Interests Are in (Musical) theater, Drawing and design, photography, creative writing, and Singing. I'm always on the computer or playing video games that usually have something to do with anime, and this is when I'm not reading manga, watching anime, writing and drawing mangame, singing, and choreographing routines. Obviously I really want to major in musical theater and minor in drawing and animation, but seeing as all the careers for those interests are extremely competitive and don't pay very well. I know I will need to have a side career and something that is reasonable and still interesting is media animation/video game programing and designing. I know that all three degrees have a lot of overlapping classes, and I have heard that employers don't really care about minors, so I was wondering a few things: 1) Is it true that employers don't care about minors? 2) If so, does that mean it would be better to major in all three? 3) If that is the case, is that even possible? and 4) How impossible is it? I should also mention that I will have 11 fine arts credits when I graduate If all goes as planed, and that includes AP music theory, AP studio art, 1 Honers choir, and 4 audition classes. I'm best at art and singing and yes I'm good at both, however a will have no computer programing experience and my schedule is already full. more

Resolved Question: Do you think this is a good backup life plan?

I'm in 9th grade, I'm failing all my classes in high school because I won't do the homework (I know everything we're learning in class, but I just can't seem to bring myself to do the work) and I'm beginning a musical career with a band. I've been playing guitar, drums and keyboard/synth for quite a while, music is my deep passion and I also enjoy video production and graphic design, I just got my final report card for the semester and out of my depression I wrote a note to myself for a backup plan instead of going to college. Tell me if you think it would work. (If you're going to say something like, "just do your homework" at least tell me if the plan would work even if I DID have good grades.) If you see a number next to a word that is a footnote, look at the bottom for more info. This is the note: I'm reviewing my final options. My musical career will only be successful if I put a band out there, but right now there's nobody who shares my mission in what I plan to do with it. If I finish the instrument1 and it works I'm pretty much all set. And then there's joining the Air Force, I'd have to step up a lot in ROTC2 so I can get a scholarship, but that may involve academic grades as well. The Army would definitely be my last resort of all the Military. If all else fails, I'll find a job. Maybe at a restaurant or something as a waiter. And food is free for lunch breaks if I eat there, I think... I don't know. I'm seriously considering going to the career center, I'd do fine at that since it would involve something I actually enjoy doing. Yeah, I could do that and keep all the music stuff going. Once I get a part-time job I'll try to save up to buy a car. I wouldn't mind living in my car, I would actually prefer it to living in a house! No mortgages, electric bills, water bills, anything! Just for the payments and gas! All the while I could polish my music skills and get money for playing shows at venues and what not. And if I'm successful enough that may just solve everything! Okay, things I'd need money for: Food & Water Gas Car Payments Instrument Repairs CD's Toiletries Laundromats Cell Phone Bills Medical Bills Car / Life Insurance I'll try not to get hurt for medical bills, ha ha! Worst case scenario would be I'd have to get multiple jobs. I think the best plan would be to get a part time job once I'm old enough, save up to buy a car, switch to the career center junior year for graphic design, make an attempt at the Air Force, live in my car, play shows for money, and always keep a backup job. Hey that actually sounds pretty good! I would almost prefer it to college! I think there's hope for me no matter what! I should still try to keep my grades to minimum extracurricular eligibility at least, just so I can stay on drill team3. So that's the plan, let's get started! 1. My mission in music is to create a new instrument to create a new sound, and I've actually begun it and it sounds pretty good but everybody else I know thinks it's a stupid idea. :( 2. ROTC is an extracurricular I'm involved in that I absolutely LOVE. If it weren't for ROTC I would probably give up hope on school altogether. 3. Drill Team is part of ROTC and you have to have your grades to the minimum requirements to be able to participate. So what do you think? more

Resolved Question: A new hairstyle for me?

Hey! I am 16 years old, and I have had this simple hairstyle for a while now, so I decided to change it. It's just kinda put down and simple. And I tried spiking it up (not extremely), and it looks nice, but then my hair started falling out because of all that pulling. So now I just don't spike it unless I feel like it so my hair won't fall. I am from an East Indian decent, and my skin color is brown to light brown. And my eye colors are between black and brown. So, I was wondering which type of hairstyle I should have. Like I was looking towards Zac Efron's hairstyle because I found it pretty decent and nice. http://www.wearyparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/08/zac-efron-vanessa-anne-hudgens.jpg Like the one in this pic is nice, but a bit shorter. If you go to youtube and watch the video: High School Musical 2: Work This Out, the hairstyle that he has on that one looks nice. Now I was wondering how should I get that hair, and will suit on me? Like my head shape it like almost oval, and my hair is straight and black. Or is there another hairstyle that I should try? And my dad won't let me use any hair dye or highlights, because he says they aren't good. So just make any suggestions you can and any opinions and products and everything you can say about this. Thank you! And I am looking for something that looks decent and cute and something that doesn't require tons of gel or hairspray. And is hairspray better for simple hairstyles or is gel? And don't say wax! And it should be healthy! Thank you! more

Resolved Question: edit my essay please?? ( i don't care what you say as long as it relates to the essay)?

Dive for Destination Imagination ZALLKMS performed a music video using a literature. Our literature was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs by Walt Disney. My team included -------------. Using our names, it created ZALLKMS, our team name. Our overall performance wasn't perfect or horrible, but in between. It was intriguing to watch, as some of the audience would say. It was intriguing to watch because our music video ran smoothly, the choreography and the music were timed very well, we stayed on beat with the music, we used the whole stage, and our grand entrance worked as planned. Unfortunately, we needed to speak louder, perform bolder moves in the choreography, slowing down and not rushing our lines, and facing the audience. My main role in the group was basically supplying the props for the music video. I brought the poisonous apple, brought fabric markers to decorate the dwarf's shirts, created a poster that we didn't use in our performance, and I designed two out of the seven costumes. I also contributed by attending all meetings except for two, I helped a little with the choreography, and I helped a little with the lyrics, and wrote the main points of the story that Sara changed into a song. I think I was the 2nd person that contributed the most. I would’ve done a few things differently such as helping with the lyrics and the choreography a lot more. I think the person that contributed the most was ---- because she contributed by making most of the wishing well, writing most the song, typing the song and script, making the grand entrance poster, making the box that was used for Snow White’s heart, created most of the choreography, helped with the costumes, brought a CD player, and a place to practice. She came to all the meetings. ----- came second. She contributed by making the mirror, supplied the shirts for the dwarfs’ costumes, making the well, a place to practice, a little bit of the choreography and the lyrics. She came to all the meetings. --- came third. She contributed by bringing a pillow, a place to practice, a little bit of the choreography, and the lyrics. ----- came in fourth. ----- contributed by making a CD of an instrumental of the song Bop to the Top in High School Musical, she helped a little with the lyrics and choreography, she helped with part of the well, and she also helped the team stay on task by writing a list of things to finish before the performance. I think the person who contributed the least was --- and----. ----- didn't come to the lunch meetings because she wanted to be with her friends and she didn't really do anything for the music video. She helped a little with the choreography, the lyrics, and the costumes and that’s basically it. On the other hand, ----- contributed by bringing rags, a little of the lyrics, and a little on the well. She didn't attend the meeting where we made the choreography and practiced with the lyrics and the music because she wanted to be with her friends. I felt very excited to perform in front of an audience, but I was also nervous. Performing in front of an audience felt like I was in a Broadway play in front of the whole entire world. I felt like I did something wrong, I would be bringing my team and my grade down. There was a lot of pressure performing this video. In the performance, I would’ve changed how I said my lines by speaking louder, doing bolding moves in the choreography, and facing the audience. In Destination Imagination, I enjoyed working with other people that I didn't know before and learning new songs and dances in a certain amount of time. I didn't like the idea of performing in front of 300 kids and in front of judges. If I could change anything about the process of DI, I would change it by having more time to prepare, so our performance could be improved. I learned many things through this process. I learned how to work with other people that I didn't know anything about them, and how to come up with lyrics and choreography using a literature. For next year, I would change how we didn't start the first day of DI and spread the jobs out evenly; so one person doesn't have to do all the work. REQUIREMENTS: Paragraph 1: What was you overall impression of the DI challenge itself? (Explain the pros and cons of this particular challenge (music Video) Paragraph 2: What was you role in your group? How much work do you feel you did? How much effort did you contribute? What would you have done differently? How much work did other do? Paragraph 3: How did you feel about actually performing for an audience? What was the experience like? What changes, looking back, would you have made to your performance? Paragraph 4: What are the aspects that you enjoyed and what are the aspects you did not like of the DI process? What if anything, would you change about the process of DI? What, if anything, lessons did you learn through this process. What do you anticipate will change next year when you comp more

Resolved Question: Would guys ever go out with me?

I'm trying to find a few reasons why one boy particularly would ever say yes to ME...he's the only boy I've REALLY liked (and I had a bf for 2 yrs who passed away, we had a promise ring) I can never stop thinking of him, but I don't even stand a chance. Here's me: age:14 freshman in highschool I wanna grow up and be a video game developer. Sports are ok. I did gymnastics for 7 yrs, and I'm still doing soccer. I WAS a cheerleader and hated it's guts. :P I love jokes. Almost anything will make me laugh if I like you. ...uhh...I do like pornos, and uhh...(how embarrasing) often fantasize about sitting on a bed with my husband watching them. I'm saving my first kiss for my wedding day :P sorry I love anime and video games Everytime I take a stereotype quiz, I get the same results: 0% prep 0% gangster 0% redneck 0% jock 90% emo (I'm not because emo is a type of music...emocore is a good genre of music to me though) 100% geek or gamer I'm kinda shy when you first meet me, but when you're my close friend (I have about 3 or 5) I talk a lot more. Unless you love video games and such too, then I can talk a lot. But I'm a good listener, and I'm always there no matter what and would do anything but sex, kissing or anything like that. :P sorry!!! X] Do you think he would ever go out with me? EVER? And would you guys maybe like me? wow...I sound totally desparate right now... Here's how the whole friend thing goes. I talk to about 5 people in person, but on the internet I talk a lot more... a LOT more if you could tell. XD I'm about: 85 lbs 4'11 short :P creative high honor roll student (behind right now, I just got out of the hospital again last week) I hate high school musical, Hannah Montana, Jonas brothers and that stuff, but I love Utada Hikaru (obsessed since I was 5), Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, Frank Sinatra, Blink 182, Green Day, and many many more. I have a large music range XP and i love it My fave video games are Oblivion, Diablo, Star Wars KOTOR and Jedi Academy and Battlefront I and II, Fable, Final Fantasy games and Kingdom Hearts, Soul Edge and Soul Calibur games, and many many many more! please answer truthfully. I sound desperate because I really really lov- ...uhh, like him. So, yeah. ^_____O more

Resolved Question: Stage fright/confidence issues!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP MEEE!!! (youtube videos)?

hey! im 19 years old and just graduated high school. I am a freshman in college and am a double major in criminal justice and theatre. i will eventually minor in vocal performance =]. the reason im telling you this is to kind of prove my commitment to performing. I have been singing for 11 years, acting for 2 and have had a voice coach for about 3. throughout highschool, i was surrounded by theatre kids and singers/actors because well, i WAS a theatre kid and in an audition only choir. the only problem was that i wasnt in any shows! i screwed up ALL of my auditions! no one thought i could sing OR act.... because i had/have MAJOR stage fright. i wanted to prove myself sooo badly to soo many people. now theyre all in different states. I want to establish myself as a performer at my college but havent found any auditions yet. they only do musicals in the summer. in the meantime, i have headshots and a resume and im in the process of recording a demo CD. im just worried that when my auditions (through agencies) come, i will screw them up. i sound and perform completely different infront of my voice coach. i love the way i perform for her... how can i do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abjX-x4cDx0 for the people who dont believe in me? (everyone) when i sing infront of people, my voice shakes, i crack, and cant hit any high notes. (normally, i can hit a double high G which is above a high C... the highest note ever written in any opera was a double high F)... i cant even hit a normal G infront of people... its so bad, i even start crying after i perform. please, please help me =[  more

Resolved Question: Could anyone recommend some pop music for my preschooler? PLEASE, NO DISNEY!!!?

I am looking for some pop music for my three and a half year old daughter. I'm so, so fed up of her Pop Jr CDs. My problem is this. Most of the music I own is a bit, erm..., adult, so I need to find something a little less morose, a little less noisy and a little less rude. Whatever you decide upon will need to satisfy the following criteria: 1) The music should be fun and upbeat, but not so over happy that my teeth will start to itch. 2) No profanity or adult themes please. She is three and a half remember. 3) PLEASE! NO DISNEY! So no spawn of Billy Ray Cyrus, Jonas Bros. or Musical High School. Or for that matter anything to with Bratz, Barbie or any other tie-in animated character. I'm trying to cultivate an interest in music beyond product placement. 4) A fun animated video you can watch on Youtube would be a bonus. 5) The genre of music isn't important. Really, it isn't. So far she has heard (and liked) pop punk, dance music, ska and the more obvious top 40 stuff. The acid test is this... If you can imagine yourself driving in your car singing along to your choice of song without feeling intense embarrassment when you are stopped at traffic lights, then I'm interested. Thanks for the feedback so far! The reason why I stipulated 'No Disney' is because I know that there is lots of fantastic music out there and there is no real need to pander to or patronise her nascent musical tastes. The profanity thing only occurred to me when I realised that 'clean' versions of certain songs often sound like Norman Collier's broken mike act. Keep the suggestions coming! more
