Resolved Question: Where can I find list of items that are allowed on a airplane?
Haven't travelled by plane in years. Many changes that I am not aware of I'm sure. Need to know what you can carry on or pack? moreResolved Question: I am going on a trip from California to Alabama, What items are not allowed on the plane?
Can I take cigarettes in my carry on?? Can I store a lighter in my luggage? I'm guessing its no allowed in the carryone but what about in my suitcase? What other things are not allowed on the carry on? anything not allowed in the suitcase? I know there are some new rules so help me out! moreResolved Question: What items are not allowed on planes in the U.S?
Im thinking of flying from ohio to Alaska sometime soon and need to know what I can and can't take on a plane. moreResolved Question: When will we stop thwarting the past terrorist attack?
...and focus on the NEXT one? I've been amazed by near-sightedness shown by both the administration and the media, but it's just the latest example in a backward security strategy: liquids, shoes, and now lavatories and not getting up? We just hop between countries to run around the latest patch of desert Al-Qaeda hides in. Every time an attack is attempted, the rules bar whatever method was employed. We're like a car with the driver facing backwards. But (sadly) the nature of terrorism is evolutionary - like some anti-matter, terrorism shapes to be what we're not. We denounce human shields so they hide among civilians, we bar items from planes so they use what is allowed; we value life, so suicide bombers don't. This is harrowing, but it is the reality. It's time to focus on the basics like intelligence procedures and collaboration (which is rightfully under scrutiny now), and stop panicking. Whenever we're fearful, terrorists write down a victory. One of the only sensible things I've seen in the media recently: http://www.sphere.com/2010/01/07/opinion-our-reaction-is-the-real-airport-security-failure/19307060/ moreResolved Question: Have the new proposals by the government for airline safety been rushed through without much thought?
On the radio today Alan Johnson said that passengers on transatlantic flights would not be told where the position of the plane and that an hour before landing they would not be allowed out of their seat, this was to ensure that the terrorist would not know when to explode a bomb over a US city. 1 hour before : well most people and terrorists would have an idea they where nearing their destination if they were told they had to stay in their seat and they could just look out the window anyway to see if there was land below or they where still over the sea. and he also said that they would not be able to to access their bags from 1 hour before ,well you just take what you need out as soon as you enter the plane. Is this another rushed through idea? Would it not be better to stop all hand luggage apart from babies essentials and medical items (they would have to have security additional checks) and subject every person to a physical body search by somebody who knows what they are doing ,if they object they don't fly ,much more secure than mr Johnson idea's. moreResolved Question: Please help me!! It's going to be my first time EVER on a train! I know nothing about how the ride is...?
I've never ridden on a train before, EVER. I want to know how the experience is before I totally embark on this journey of 12 hours on a train for the very first time!!! I know that I'm in business class and that there are meals and drinks and plenty of leg room and electricity plugs for stuff but that's it. Is it a rough ride? Are the attendants like those on an airplane (coming to check on you frequently)? Is the food good or at least edible?? What items am I not allowed to take with me (I haven't needed to be on any "public" transport since the terrorism scare started so I don't know anything about what I'm allowed to take even on planes)? Is it like the airplanes where you have a carry on bag and the rest of your luggage is in another section? Can I take my laptop and charger and my cell phone and its charger in my carry on bag?? Are there certain size restrictions for suitcases and carry on bags? How many seats are there in an aisle?? Thank you soooo much!!! moreResolved Question: coming to Mumbai from JFK, New York via Kuwait Airways and dealing with indian customs officials?
Can I take a box of chocolates for my family? Is that allowed? Does Kuwait airways or Kuwait(where my plane will be stopping for few hours for refueling) has any restrictions on passengers carrying any chocolates in their original packing? Asked Kuwait airways, but no response since 10 days for email and they don't answer the phone. Should I take it in carry in bag or checked in baggage? Do Indian customs have any restrictions on bringing chocolates from US? I hear Indian custom officials ask for money from passengers coming from abroad and if not given money confiscate items of passenger which they have brought from abroad. How should I deal with them? Can someone offer some suggestions for both questions? Thanks moreResolved Question: Are there any obscure items that are not allowed on planes in carry on luggage?
I haven't flown in about 2 years, I was wondering if there is anything that I wouldn't normally think of that isn't allowed on planes? In my purse alone I keep tweezers and a mini bottle of perfume. I know some airlines are very strict about what's in people's luggage. What is normally allowed/not allowed? I am not going to have enough luggage to check a bag either so that isn't an option. Thanks. moreResolved Question: Can I bring a car seat without a baby on an international flight?
I am buying a new car seat for my cousin in China and do not want to check in the car seat in its original box as luggage. I was wondering if I could just carry the car seat onto the plane as a carry on item and have it left someone in the back of the plane (I am sitting in the last row) during the flight. Is this allowed to count as 1 carry on item?I am flying on United if that changes anything. moreResolved Question: I'm flying with my 15 month old daughter (her first time!)?
I believe you are allowed to bring a diaper bag, a purse, plus a carry on bag with you on the plane. Then I plan on checking one suitcase. I'm thinking its a good idea to pack just enough diapers for the airplane ride then buy diapers when we get there bc it will take up too much space. But what else should I pack in our carry on?. What am I NOT allowed to bring? I wanted to bring some snack for her plus some juice boxes, and perhaps a bottle of water with formula if I need to make a bottle. What are some good items to have in the diaper bag to keep her occupied? I'm more nervous about keeping her " happy" while we are waiting to board the plane. When I traveling by myself I usually I arrive two hours before the plane takes off but with her that seems like a long time. Then its two hours on the plane. I think she will be enterained with people on the plane. Shes a people person. I am going to bring a portable dvd player to play Barney and an ipod with Barney songs. Should I save that for the plane only? Or should I break it out while we are waiting? OMG Im so nervous bc I never traveled by myself with the baby before!! Are they any mothers who know how I feel? moreResolved Question: How do you make a mousetrap car that can travel 8 meters and stop? Are there any loopholes in these rules?
Rules: 1. You must use ONE Victor Brand mousetrap. You cannot use a “have-a-heart” trap – it won’t work! 2. The mousetrap must be the sole power source – with the spring attached as originally manufactured. The mousetrap may NOT be altered. You are not permitted to alter the base, snapping arm, spring or release. 3. The mousetrap must be and remain a part of the traveling car. 4. NO alternate power sources may be used to help propel the car. (This includes (but is NOT limited to) rubber bands, additional springs, motors, magnets, string, wind, etc.) You can use these items to help build the car, just not for propulsion. 5. The mousetrap car must be self-starting, meaning no push starts of any sort will be allowed. The vehicle must be started by releasing the mousetrap spring in a manner that imparts no additional energy. YOU MUST release the trap by touching a pencil/stick to the trigger. You will not be permitted to hand release the trap. 6. The car must conform to the following maximum dimensions (when in the ready position): a. 15.2 cm (about 6.0 inches) b. 31.8 cm (about 12.50 inches) c. In other words, it must fit into a shoebox with the above dimensions WITHOUT THE LID. HOWEVER, you are to imagine that the sides of the box extend vertically infinitely. 7. The cars will be constructed outside of class. NO class time will be used for design or construction. 8. NO KITS are to be used to construct your vehicle. If kit parts are used you will be disqualified and receive a (non-droppable) zero. NO CARS FROM PREVIOUS YEARS are to be used. You will earn a (non-droppable) zero for reusing a car or using a kit-car! 9. You may not use CDs, DVDs, or any other 5” digital media discs for any part of your car. Also in accordance with school rules you may not use any latex balloons or any other latex products. If your car incorporates either of these materials or other illegal/inappropriate school substances then you will receive a non-droppable zero. Testing: On race day, a racing area will be marked off. The track will be 8m (about 25 ft) and 61 centimeters (about 2 feet) wide. The distance traveled by the vehicle will be measured from the starting line to the leading wheel of the car at the end of its trip. If the car leaves the lane from either side, it will be considered stopped when it breaks the plane of the line boundary. YOU MUST START YOUR CAR WITH THE FRONT WHEELS AT THE EDGE OF THE STARTING LINE. ITS STOPPING POINT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE LAGGING FRONT WHEEL. •Time will be used to for extra credit purposes only. •The time portion of your grade will be based on the time from which the car starts its motion to when it STOPS! •The time points will be based on the fastest car in your class period, with the fastest car receiving +3 points and the 2nd fastest getting +2, and 3rd +1. If you work with someone from a different period…the extra credit will be based on the class period in which your car was tested. moreResolved Question: How do you make a mousetrap car that stops after traveling 8 meters?

You may work with any student who is taking honors physics (with the same teacher as you). 10. Your car must be in class and “ready to roll” on October 23rd. NO EXCEPTIONS – Your car must be in school whether you are or not! Testing: On race day, a racing area will be marked off. The track will be 8m (about 25 ft) and 61 centimeters (about 2 feet) wide. YOU MUST START YOUR CAR WITH THE FRONT WHEELS AT THE EDGE OF THE STARTING LINE. ITS STOPPING POINT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE LAGGING FRONT WHEEL. Grading: Your car is worth 30 points, and breaks down in the following manner: •15 points for building the car to all “ready position” specifications, and above-mentioned regulations. If your car fails to meet specifications it will receive ZERO points and will NOT be tested. This is a non-droppable zero. •The remaining 15 points will be based on your distance. •The distance potion of the grade will be pro-rated (your distance/8m). If your car doesn’t move you will receive a zero for the testing portion of the grade. To earn 100% of the distance points your car must stop at exactly 8m. •Falling short of the target will result in point loss. •Over shooting the target will result in the same point loss as if it fell short (so if your car travels 8.2m it is the same as traveling 7.8). •If your car travels less than 0.5 meters you will receive a zero. •If your car travels less than 1-foot you will receive a zero. moreVoting Question: Am i able to bring these items, and what should i bring?

I have never been on a plane before and I would like to know, if the things I am bringing are allowed. First off: I have a Cosmetic bag that I have all my toiletries in. Everything is in 3.2 or smaller oz bottles/containers. The only thing I'm worried about is a little perfume. It's in a 1oz GLASS bottle and I'm not sure if they'll allow it on. Second: I have my personal item which is my purse. I completely jam packed this thing, it's kind of funny. But what I have is my MP3 Player, Headphones, Nintendo DS, and an extra game, two DVD cases (one of which has two dvds), an Xbox360 control and Xbox360 game case with two games inside. I also have my cell phone, it's charger and my DS's charger. Do you think they'll allow me to bring those things in my purse? Lastly my Checked Bag: I have my clothing and I have a curling iron. Should I keep my curling iron in my checked bag? or should I put it in one of my carry-on's?I have all my liquids toiletries in a one-quart ziplock bag IN my cosmetic bag. That is the reason for the bag. I do not have enough room in my purse or in my check in. And according to the airline I'm taking official site it says: "Continental will permit one bag plus one personal item" and a purse is included as a personal item. moreVoting Question: What items can't be carried on anymore?
I haven't flown in a few years, not since that hole in the side of a plane incident that one August. I know they got really up tight about crap after that. I'm fly US Airways tomorrow and I'm curious about some items that may be banned now. Mascara Chapstick Foundation(powder) Also, my wrist has been pretty messed up in the last few years. Recently I've gone through a bout of tendinitis. I just finished up physical therapy last week and my therapist recommended I take this stuff called Thera-Putty with me. It's basically just putty that's a little stiffer and it's meant to continues strengthening my wrist. Will they allow me to take that on? I'm going to carry on my bag. moreResolved Question: Gun Control introduction help please?
i need to write a paper on gun weather it should be allow or not allow in California. i believe it should be allow in California but i don't know what to write or how to start it. Also i need to write 3 counter arguments for both side allow and not allow. so far i got: Guns kill people: true but so does cars. planes, bowling balls, baseball bats too. Are you going to band those too? Also did you know every one second in the world someone dies of a car accident. why haven't we band cars yet? why need guns when we have cops? my argument would be cops are not only here to protect us. they have other things to do. In addition if you dial 911 and a cop doesn't get there in time and you died. Your family can not sew the cop because of an amendment( i think it is he 2nd one i am not sure) Guns for protection: throughout the years guns has been out in the world for decades.back then people made guns to hunt animals for food. Now criminals use it to still money and high jack cars etc. If civilians had guns it would be a different story because it would be harder to rob someone when they are lock and loaded. Did you know in Texas (there are two states like this but i don't know the other state) there are less crime rates then California. Also in New York where they don't allow guns, teasers, and pocket knifes they have one of the highest crime rate in the USA. that's all i got i need 3 more please help me and i need an introduction for my gun law essay. i don't know how to start it Please help me find 3 more arguments for Pro and Con and a introduction for my essay Thanks so much =( i miss school because i didn't finish my essay in time... D= need to finish =D Thanks for all the help!!! =D if you can add to my arguments please do thanks if you can Gun for protection, Gun kill people, and why guns when we got police is this a good introduction or can you guys revise it or something to make it professional Banding guns is a mistake. We need guns for today society and the future. i believe that civilians in California should carry guns with a permit but under the law of the right to bear arms. In California there are so many criminals that rob people cars and stealing valuable items from civilians. the reason criminals are getting away is because people these day don't have guns to protect them self. In addition in Texas and Wyoming has less of a crime rate compare to California and New York. Don't you believe in the Holocaust where over 6 million Jews died but some of them could of survive if they had guns and weapons to protect themselves over a dictator Hitler. that's all i got for my introduction i need help to expand it and add a thesis. please help thanks again =D moreResolved Question: Protective Undergarments for Traveling?
I was just recently on a plane, in the very last row beside the bathrooms, and while flying there was a great deal of turbulence and as a result the flight attendants forbade anyone from getting up and going to the bathroom. Because of this at least 3-4 children, ranging in age up to around 11 or 12, wet their pants on the plane. Having an entrepreneurial spirit I realized there may be a way to prevent this from happening again, and allow me to make a healthy profit. I believe that selling youth pull-up style diapers, specifically designed to be worn by children from the ages 7-12 while traveling, is a great solution. Encouraged by this idea I looked around the airport after my arrival and realized that it did not sell any diapers larger then size 3, so the perfect place to sell them would be at the airport. I also realized that this airport did not sell any of the undergarments aimed towards bed wetters such as Goodnites or Underjams. Therefore this would hopefully develop into a near- essential traveling item for bed wetters, just in case they fall asleep, and eventually spread into a recommended item for all children within the age range of 7 to 12. Because of the nature of such a product advertising is the key, and as long as I can appeal to parents I believe this product could become a huge success. This product would be designed for all children, even those already potty-trained who are not bed wetters or have frequent accidents, because any child could have an accident while traveling. I was just wondering what others think of this product and would you use this for your children while traveling, if it was socially acceptable or even if it wasn't yet, or if you aren't a parent would you think that you might use this if you had children. moreResolved Question: Input for a business proposal?

I have to go on a trip to London in about 3 days. I want to take my laptop, a tote bag, and my purse, but I am only allowed one personal item and one bag on the plane and I want all of them to go on it. My purse can fit in my tote bag, but will that count as two items or one? Do I have to pay extra money if I bring an extra carry-on or will they just plain-out not allow me to have three things on the plane? My laptop can also fit inside my tote bag, but not with the purse in it.((American Airlines)) ((When I say I have to go I mean I'm a minor and my parents are forcing me to go with them on the trip. haha.)) moreResolved Question: luggage rules for airplanes?!?

hellooo. i live in the states, and am taking a 2 hour flight to chicago soon. i was planning on bringing these following items in my carry on, but am not sure if they are allowed. I am hesitant to check them in my checked luggage, just in case of breakage, loss of luggage, or the airline people going through my suit case and taking them away/roughly handling them because some items are expensive. so i was planning on bringing the following items in my carry on: hair straightener eyeshadow eyeliner makeup brushes (im not too worried about these lol.) i think thats it.... just some reassurance is all i ask :) moreResolved Question: I am flying to Las Vegas in a few days, can you please make me a list of items I CAN NOT* take on the airpane?
I just need a list of all the things that you are NOT allowed to take on the plane... 10 points for best answer! Thanks in advanced moreResolved Question: What can I bring onto the plane for carry on items?
I am flying to Colorado for a wedding so what am I allowed to bring and not allowed to bring on the plane? I want everything to be carried on because I hate checking things in; something always goes wrong! Things I need to know if I can bring them on the plane are: A curling Iron A hair Straightener A dress in a hanger bag w/hanger Deodorant Makeup Perfume Nail polish Nail Kit (nail file, nail clippers, etc.) Pocket knife and scissors (less then a inch long) Sewing needles and thread (travel size) Tooth paste Mouth wash Shampoo and conditioner And if there is anything an everyday traveler might have that's not allowed. Please let me know so I am not to pack it. moreResolved Question: what aren't you allowed to take on a plane?
I'm going on my first ever flight on Saturday May 30th and I don't know exactly what I'm not allowed to bring on the plane. I know that all liquids, gels, and aerosols have to be under 3 oz. and be placed in a plastic zip lock bag and has to go through the x-ray machine. But what I am not sure about is everything else. Like some items are only allowed to be checked and some doesn't matter if checked or carry-on. So what are regular things not allowed on planes like nail clippers and jewelry and other stuff. Thanks for all answers. moreResolved Question: Can I Take These In My Carry-On?
I am flying this week with only a carry-on, which I have never done before. Usually I check a bag and this isn't a problem. I have checked the TSA website but I just want to be sure. Some of these fall under the 3-1-1 rule I'm pretty sure, but I just wanted to make sure I will be able to carry the following items onto the plane with me: -Lip stick (solid tube type) (3-1-1?) -Lip gloss (3-1-1?) -Mascara (3-1-1?) -Powder type makeups -Digital Camera -Laptop Computer I also wanted to know how often TSA rejects/refuses/takes away items in your 3-1-1 in other words, what types of things they don't like that are supposed to be allowed. I don't have a choice about flying with just a carry on, this was a trip arranged by work and they will not pay for a checked bag. Thanks for your help!Forgot a few..oops -Hairdryer -Flat Iron -Over The Counter Medications moreResolved Question: nicaragua- flights and bringing items back?
Just wondering about what i can bring back from nicaragua without having any trouble at the border! from manitoba, but we are driving to minneapolis then flying to miami from there to Managua. (same for return). I assume we will have to pay duty when we land in minneapolis, correct? but are we also going to have to pay duty when we get to the Canadian/US border on everything again? how does it work? are there any restricted items that are not allowed into the us/canada from nicaragua? I know when i went to cuba i was not allowed any raw wood products and only a specific amount of alcohol. i assume the same in this situation, but is there anything else i should be aware of? This is only my second time flying so im still not to sure how everything works. (never had to switch planes either). any advice would be great!! Thanks. moreResolved Question: limited carry on items, what is the best to bring on the plane?
We are traveling with our daughter for the first time on an airplane. She will be approx. 16 mos when we leave. We are trying to avoid checking any baggage and sticking to carry-ons because it is only a 4 day trip. What is best to bring and leave behind? We are not planning on bringing a stroller because she won't need one when we get to where we are going and she is already walking. We don't need a carseat either. This is what I had in mind, let me know what you think: 1 carry on for me (small suitcase) 1 carry on for her (small backpack with toys, blanket, etc) 1 carry on for my boyfriend (small suitcase) Plus, I wanted to know what is and is not allowed to bring. Can I bring juice or snacks, or does all of this have to be purchased inside the airport? Do all personal hygiene bottles (soap, etc) have to be the small disposable ones? Thanks! moreResolved Question: Are you allowed to wear kevlar and a parachute when boarding an airline?
I know that it sounds crazy b/c people might think that you're planning something, but I'm talking about for your own safety such as for what happened on 9/11. Kevlar could protect you from a bullet and if the plane explodes in mid-air or is damaged, then you have your parachute to rely on. Can you wear these items? If not, why not?I know it's a stupid question, but I was wondering. Although, you would look kind of dumb wearing a bulky vest and parachute. moreResolved Question: Going on a trip to California. (within the states).. question about the restricted articles..?
I was reading the AA website and I was wondering what exactly we can take on board? I know you can take 2 bags with you.. a personal item and a bag.. but the size restrictions seems to be a bit confusing.. I'm gonna take a purse with me.. and a small rollaway bag.. (it's about 21highx7widex15long which is 43 inches.. but this is just the size of the bag.. and not including the handle/wheels.. is that ok? It has important stuff in it that I need to take with me on to the plane and not through the baggage claim.. Also I was wondering.. you are only allowed to take a 8x8 bag with 3.5oz of liquid max per item.. but how many of these 8x8 bags can you take? Just 1? per person? per bag? or as much as long as the liquids are 3.5oz and less? Only questions I can think of right now.. but If i have anymore I will be sure to update. Thank you!OH! And for liquids larger than 3.5oz you can put them in the baggage claim, do these need to be inside ziploc bags too? or can they just be in there by themselves. moreResolved Question: Is this item restricted on checked luggage?
I'm moving cross country by way of plane and as I was throwing my soaps, hair products, and other liquids into my checked bag I wondered if hair developing cream was allowed in there or if it would cause my bag to need to be searched etc and eventually lost. I have about an ounce of 20 volume hair developer left in a bottle. Is this okay to go in my checked luggage or should I leave it? Obviously it's not necessary for me to bring it, but if It's ok, I would like to have it at my new home ^_^ moreResolved Question: Can you bring these items on a plane in your carry-on?
Our team is taking a domestic trip (from san francisco to san diego) this week. We're only allowed to bring our team duffel bags as we're not going to be checking in any bags. Thanks!By the way, the razor is a Gillette Fusion. is that allowed? moreResolved Question: Question # 17 On The Seventeenth?

i was reading a blog on yahoo and i agree so much that i took it straight from the blog and put it here This morning on SportsCenter there were eight separate items on the ticker about NFL coaching changes. Eric Mangini was going to the Browns, Jason Garrett was interviewing in Detroit, the guy T.O. yelled at had a talk with the Seahawks; it was an endless stream of personnel news. Though the divisional playoffs kick off in two days, the eyes of the football world were focused off the field toward teams that didn't qualify for the postseason. It's time for the NFL to ban coaching hires until after the Super Bowl. The teams will scream that they need to get their staffs in place for mini-camps and how it's unfair for those who don't make the playoffs to wait a month before they can sort planing for next season. It's all hogwash. If there are restrictions on when players can be cut, signed and released, why can't there be a moratorium on coaching hires? It's not like the Mangenius is going to be able to do all that much in Cleveland in the next there weeks anyway. In the long run, would things really have been that different if he couldn't have spoken to the Browns for another month? A restriction on coaching hires would kill two birds with one stone too, since it would allow coordinators of playoff teams (usually the most in-demand coaches, like Steve Spagnuolo) to exclusively concentrate on their own teams instead of jetting off for interviews three days before a game. It never seems right that the hottest defensive coordinator has to juggle interviews and game-planning for Tom Brady in the same day. This should be a week for the NFL to focus on the final eight teams remaining in the chase for the title. Instead, the media is concentrating on who's going to be the next man to fail in Detroit. Put the attention back on the field where it belongs. so what do you think? moreResolved Question: Thinking about joining the Navy, but...?
I am a junior in high school, I took the AS-VAB, and I received a 78 on it. But, what job is a good job to try to get? I am not very intelligent with autos, so like fixing planes or whatever it is they do isn't exactly my cup of tea. I would like a traveling job, where you go to cool places, preferably outside the continental US, such as Japan, Hawaii, Italy, Alaska? Also, an Un-biased list of Pros and Cons of joining the Navy, please be balanced and fair :) And the physical requirements for joining the Navy, do they require to be a certain weight to join, i'm over weight, in fact under weight. Do you have to be able to, I don't know bench a lot? Also about this "A" school, do they allow you to have civilian items, such as cell phones, laptops, civilian clothes? Also, if you have a car and you are deployed to an overseas country, are you allowed to get it deliver? Also, how is the "barracks life?" Are you allowed to go out and do stuff, and how is the housing arrangements, do you have you own room? Also, how is the collage money they talk about so much, i hear them say you can get up to $ 50,000, i like the 50,000, but I don't like the up to part of the statement, when they say up to, does that mean you might just get like $5,000? Sorry about the amount of questions, big decision, would like all my facts.I would like a personal opinion of someone whos been in the navy, I went to the Navy website, but you know, its all water downed biased information to get people to join. moreVoting Question: What can I take on the plane?

There is blantant racism against Muslims! Somehow its considered "okay" to just hate Muslims. What the hell is going on? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7R-s-71csY I mean if Mccain had said, "No ma'am. He's not a Jew; he's a decent man." We all know how the world would have reacted. And when a radio jockey aired a show saying make all Muslims more identifiable, some people called in saying no, thats wrong BUT many were like, "yes, we should be able to idenitify them more easily (like putting Jews had the Star of David)" and one even said "deport them all cause that's they want to kill us." http://www.asiamedia.ucla.edu/article.asp?parentid=58909 Can you believe that??? Also, this: On 16 August 2006 British passengers on-board a flight from Malaga to Manchester requested the removal of two men of Asian descent from a plane. According to a spokesman for the Civil Guard in Malaga, "These men had aroused suspicion because of their appearance and the fact that they were speaking in a foreign language thought to be an Arabic language, and the pilot was refusing to take off until they were escorted off the plane." A security sweep of the plane found no explosives or any item of a terrorist nature. Monarch Airlines booked the men, who were Urdu speakers, into a hotel room, gave them a free meal and sent them home on a later plane. The men later responded, "Just because we're Muslim, does not mean we are suicide bombers." The Islamic Human Rights Commission blamed "ever-increasing Islamophobia" related to the "war on terror" for the incident. SERIOUSLY!!!!! It makes me so mad! People don't even know what Jihad is!!!!!! There are fake versus from the Qu'ran going around! It's so wrong. I feel like the whole world is crazy. http://www.asiamedia.ucla.edu/article.asp?parentid=58909 ^ & you'll see my angry response there. I guess I'm just wondering how this is allowed to happen. Is it because we're at war with two countries who are Muslim? Is it going to go any farther than jut discrimination?@William F: Okai, so when you think Muslims do you think brown or what? Most of them are Brown. There are converts of course. If you want to be so correct, fine, change it to Arab.@Tri-Polar: YOU are what I'm talking about. "We value reasoning, they value eliminating us as a threat to the group." Huh? They do? Since when? I know the terrorists groups do. But Muslims? I don't think so.
