I'm not gonna' be insulting or rude, but I am VERY curious about this... Why are MJ fans SSOOOO fanatical? When someone even cracks a joke about him, they lose their minds. Personally, never liked his music (to be fair, I can't stand any pop music), ALL of the charges about him doing what ever to kids cannot have been a coincidence. And even if they were, what does it say about him that he kept putting himself in those situations. He was a drug user. He hung his baby out a window, not a great parenting move. I feel he was very confused/insecure about himself with all the plastic surgery & whatever he was doing to lighten his skin. I just don't get why everybody thought he was so great!?!A vicious bunch aren't we? As far as the skin disease goes (I am not even going to try to spell it), I have seen that on on blacks before & it was always very blotchy & not consistent, his was all encompassing. And who ever said he didn't have any surgery, come on, his nose & cheeks alone were completely different from his younger years. It is a shame most of you are so defensive. My question was serious & I was not being rude or nasty to the dead. There are a lot of musicians I don't like, doesn't mean I don't like them because of their skin color, I just don't like their music. Hard to hold a conversation with someone when they won't listen to the other side. I'm not saying he is any better or worse than any other performer (many of them have/had drug or alcohol habits) & have behaved poorly, but MJ fans are very sensitive about every aspect of him & I just don't get it. my psychiatrist diagnosed me with asperger's syndrome. i don't think i have it, but i'm still kinda curious. i'm sixteen and female, if it matters. :) the symptoms i have are: -i dislike physical contact (hugging, stuff like that) -i scare very easily -i laugh during inappropriate situations (sad movies, serious situations, i can't help it. it's a nervous response) -i blush a lot, and hate eye contact -i'm bad at recognizing faces -i have a really hard time learning the way other kids do -i have synesthesia (songs/numbers/letters/days of the week have colors to me. the letter A is bright yellow, B is brown, C is pink and so on. the song smooth criminal by michael jackson is blood red and forest green. you get the point) -i hate showing emotion. i've never let ANYONE see me cry but i don't have all the symptoms. for example... i can understand social cues. i can often tell what people are thinking. i'm not a very serious person, i'm a screw-off. i joke around all the time. also, i'm bad at math. people with asperger's are supposed to be smart, and i'm really not. xD i'm pretty sure i was misdiagnosed. and i don't really care if i do have it, it's just a title and it doesn't change who i am. but my mom believed the psychiatrist and now she's freaking out about it. what the eff. so yeah, opinions are greatly appreciated."Why'd you ask this twice?" umm, because i didn't get any good answers the first time, so i thought i'd ask in a different section. did you really have to ask to figure that out? xD"Perhaps your trying to rationalize your way out of it indicates that you think people who have Aspergers aren't smart enough ot rationalize and that would be wrong." i'm sorry if it came across that way, but it's actually the opposite. i know people with asperger's are very intelligent, and i don't think i'm SMART enough to have it. xD the reason i'm trying to figure out whether or not i have it is because my mom wants me to meet with my psychiatrist twice a week.if this offended anyone with asperger's, i'm really sorry. it wasn't supposed to sound like that. the truth is that i've been diagnosed with ADD, general anxiety disorder, OCD and NLD. and i'm really sick of being diagnosed with stuff and having my rents freak out and try to medicate me. hahaha. more

I know it's not good or anything but I love writing for th fun of it/ When I pulled into the crazy caffeine car park Melanie was already waiting next to the door of the store. “What happened to you today?” “It's a long story, I'll tell you inside.” Melanie had been my friend since I moved to Sommerset, I remember my first day of school I didn't know anyone and I was petrified. Melanie had offered to show me round all of my classes, I thought she looked nice; with crystal blue eyes, black hair that looked blue in the sunlight and a row of freckles over the bridge of her nose. She talked non stop the full day and I barely said a word, but the next day she came skipped over to me and I felt a connection. I could be myself with her. We had been friends ever since and shared all of our secrets, so she might be a little crazy with her Michael Jackson obsession but she was fun. When Michael Jackson died last summer she was distraught and didn't leave her house for days she sat and listened to his music all day long eating ice-cream, it was like she had just been dumped or something. I began to get a bit worried but she's fine now and she had a tribute for him, we got together some of his fans and played his music and danced then Melanie said a few words whilst crying hysterically. I assumed her obsession would be over after that but she is still wears one white glove occasionally and listens to his music non-stop. We walked inside and went to our booth at the back of the store, it was were we always sat. Crazy Caffeine was our place, we had been coming since it opened four years ago. Voting Question: Serious problem with my friends?

I've always been paranoid about my friends hating me secretly. I'm not the most popular of people and only have like 4 proper friends and I only talk to 1 of them on a daily basis. When I first started my school I was friends with lets say Alice. She has been my best friend since my first year of academy but then in second year I suddenly became friends with lets say Alex. Alex is in my class but Alice isn't so they never really talked to each other before. I couldn't be bothered going around talking to two people who didn't like each other so I introduced them to each other. We were all friends then. When MJ died Alex was one of those people who suddenly became so obsessed that it was all she talked about and I don't like this but I can handle it. But since I have a dislike for MJ Alex started just talking to Alice about it. When we sit down to eat they sit opposite each other and I just sit at the side. Neither of them talk to me and if they sit next to each other they just look at each other and it makes me feels like I'm just a spare part. I always end up walking around behind them and getting ignored by them and it really annoys me. When I try to speak they sometimes just tell me to shut up. Even when I tried to tell them I was depressed they ignored me and later couldn't understand what I had to be depressed about because everything was perfect for me but the thing is whenever I try to tell them something they don't listen so they don't know the reason behind it. One of the worst cases of them ignoring me was the anniversary of Michael Jackson's death when the music channel was purely his music. I told them I couldn't stand and listen to his music for another hour so I went outside (we were at school) and out there I sat for about 5 minutes they came out and started laughing at me. When they went back in for MJ I walked away annoyed. When they realized I'd gone they followed me but quickly gave up. I talked to my other friend who I can't really talk to at lunches because her friends don't like me and I talked to her about it but she didn't know anything I could do. They don't trust me anymore either. I found out that Alice had liked a guy for months and I only found out a week ago when Alex accidentally mentioned it. There is actually no one else I can go to, I only have like 4 friends and 2 of them are the problem, 1 of them is two faced and the other doesn't know what to do and her friends hate me. What can I do to make them trust me and it just be like before when we were all good friends and nothing got between us? Most of all how can I get them to stop ignoring me? Nothing seems to work anymore. It's fine when I'm alone with one of them but not together, I don't think they realize they're doing it. And one more thing, they don't take me seriously, when I try to talk serious they think I'm joking so I'm not sure how much talking will help. Sorry for the really long explanation.me and Alex are opposite people apart from our love of P.E. (which I'm terrible at). Apart from that I like stuff like football, xbox games (violentness games), I'm not girly at all. I wear boys clothes!
