The main reason im coming on here discussing this is because i want to hear opinions from other people who have felt isolated for living or likeing certain things that isnt really harboured in the mainstream society. Im 19 now, and i have never really had many friends, just really some people i used to hang with from time to time, but no one i would call a true friend. Ive mainly been cast aside for my taste for unpopular music, and for expressing my opinions, and most people dont like it if they decide to be popular instead of being themselves and having their own opinions. Most of the people in my school liked music such as, rhianna, techno music, 50 cent, and pretty much what makes up mainstream popular music. I was never into that music because i always felt the need for complexity and feeling in a piece of art/music. So i developed a taste for creative music, like death metal, thrash metal. Bands like Megadeth, slayer, metallica, cannibal corpse, Dying fetus, necrophagist ect. And i also love orchestra music, with conducters like john williams. And i always used to come out with my opinion on subjects that took my interest. For example, one time in college, the whole class was talking about how great rhianna's music is. In my opinions, shes an overated, very low talented 'muscian' if you will, but i didnt tell the rest of the class what i thought about her. And they saw me in my cannibal corpse and slayer t shirts, and they'd be like, "look at that freak, what a horrible taste in music he has. All it is screaming and talking about pain and raping people, and yadda yadda youve heard it all before". And i responded with, "So having a different taste in music to yours makes me a freak". And they all went silent for about 20 seconds and one of the girls said, "wearing t-shirts like that and listening to music like yours, makes you a freak because they talk about horrible things like murder death and pain, youre never going to get a girlfriend because your a depraved, psycopathic loser and no-one likes you". And i responded with " If listening to music, which includes lyrics about pain and death..." (actually not all of my music is about that, but whats wrong about those sorts of subjects anyway, just because theyre different to what other sing about) "... makes me different from people who listen to mainstream music and live mainstream lives just to fit in with the crowd, then im totally happy, because the less i am like you, the happier it makes me feel, i dont care what you or anyone thinks about my way of life, or the choices i make, because i live for me and not for anyone else, and im proud that im expressing myself like this, because it shows i have more character than you or anyone in this classroom could ever hope to posses" Ofcourse the whole room burst into laughter, and i had words like loser and retard thrown at me, but i didnt care. Im sorry to all who are reading this, but my main point is yet to come, please read on, thank you and i really do appriciate your answers. Anyway, When we got into our final year of college, a new girl had joined my form. She didnt look very happy, and she wasnt sociable at all. She had long flowing black hair, and a very perculiar dress sense, and the minute i spotted that, i loved her from the moment i saw her. Because she wasnt afraid to express her self and dress the way she wanted. She was also named " the freaky goth girl" after about 3 hours of being in the school. She was pretty much the girl version of me. I couldnt believe that i was actually nervous to talk to her. But after about a week, i saw her sitting by herself at a dinner table in the school lunch room, and since i was obviously by myself aswell I spent 30 minutes building up the courage, and i went over to her table, and asked her if i could sit with her. And basically from that moment on, we totally clicked like a perfectly oiled clock. We both appriciated each others terrible sense of humour (haha), and the fact that we like the same things. We were friends from that day on, and we werent called freaks anymore, we were called the freak couple. Which were more than happy to take. To cut a long story short, she was italian, and the day i finally plucked the courage to ask her out, or was going to, she said she was going to move back to italy, and that it was best that we didnt carry our friendship onto a relationship. I was totally heart broken because she was the absolute perfect girl for me, And i dont think i spoke for about a month. That was a year ago. And ive never met a girl half as good or as nice as her. Am i destined to walk this planet alone? Im constantly ridiculed for wanting a girl with a nice personality, and someone that isnt afraid to express themselves, instead of wanting a hot girl to have sex with and go down to the pub with. I have a friend who I've known for several years. We went to the same school and everything. I broke up with my ex in October, and shortly after the breakup, I confessed to this friend that I had feelings for him. He was blown away, but since we have so much in common, he's definitely warmed up to the idea of us dating. The only thing that's stopping us is that he's in college 2 hours away from where I live. He also has a girlfriend, but for some reason, all the girls he dates dump him after a few months. I dreamed a really weird, scary dream last night... I don't remember it accurately, but it went something like this..: I was in my living room with my dad and my older cousin (I think?) and he was yelling at me, telling me how I did something to my cousin. Then all of the sudden my cousin was engulfed in flames. She kept screaming "I'm burning, I'm fucking burning! HELP ME!" It was weird, I had this dream twice in the same night... I looked online for "dream interpretations", and I found out that dreaming about something or someone burning means you have a lot of regret about something, or you are very angry or anxious about something. I was neither regretful, nor angry or anxious the day I had this dream. I was sick though, if that means anything. OK, I have a very limited amount of information here. The song has a quicker pace to it. The guy who sings is has a VERY deep voice. The song starts off with your typical country instrumental, and when the vocalist begins singing, he starts off with what I like to call a "George Jones" progression, where he starts the lyrics off with a very low bass note and works his way up to a tenor. (Think Jones's line "Hotter than a two dollar pistol"). Within the lyrics are the following: Something about a house being foreclosed on in two weeks. I am 13 and i have a friend that i have known for 3 years. I go to church and he goes to church and i am christian and he is catholic. Open Question: Why is my ex bf so angry at me?

Hi everyone, I need some insight regarding my ex bf. A bit over a month he dumped me. He was the one who had chased me for well over 3 months, professed his love and moved cities to be with me. We were together for a year and a half and lived together for 6/7 months. I am 31 and he’s 28. I am pretty sure he is depressed cos he got fired from his job last November and since then ran back to his city and decided things were going well between us. When he first told me I of course tried to fight it and he kept telling me he didn’t know what he wanted. He cried about hurting me. Finally I took the risk and visited him in his city. When I met him we had a wonderful time initially but then had a horrible fight and broke up. I had never seen him that angry ever before – it was scary and it was alcohol fuelled. Since then I haven’t called him once. He spoke to one of my friends about me and asked him how I was doing – that was in the first week after we broke up. He has not once contacted me this past month – not even on Valentines Day :( I emailed him to let him know that he needs to redirect his mail. Then I asked about some money he owes me and we discussed about his stuff that’s still at my place. Everything was cordial. Then I emailed him and apologised about having spoken to his dad – this was before the breakup when I thought his dad needed to intervene to force him to go to therapy. Since I wanted to get it off my chest and explain my actions I emailed him – but he got very emotional and angry and blasted me for having spoken to two of his friends. I told him that I had spoken to them a while back and that the conversation wasn’t always about him – but was a lot about their problems. He was also angry that I still have 10 of his friends on my facebook and I told him to ask them to delete me since he’s so territorial. His friends and family love me and they will never listen to him but. Besides a lot of them, including a cousin of his, added me themselves. My responses to his angry emails were very calm and collected and I also told him that I had accepted the breakup and that it was the best for me. I told him he was being paranoid cos he was using the money as a bargaining chip – he’s scared I will throw all his things away. I assured him I am not vindictive or immature to do that. I know he’s been checking my facebook where I have put up a pleasant front – putting pictures up of my social outings, nice status updates and even a reference to a date I had (very subtly though). He’s been very angry of late and has been snapping at other people as well to the point that his friends have asked him to shut up. Besides he’s drinking as well and that’s adding to his problems. Now yesterday I noticed that he put up the following Michael Buble lyrics on his facebook: I'm not suprised, not everything lasts, I've broken my heart so many times I've stop keeping track, talked myself in.... talked myself out, worked myself up then let myself down!! He of course did as I had predicted and told people who had commented that they were just lyrics he liked. But to me it seems deeper. He seems to be in pain and I wonder if this breakup is something he doesn’t like either. I love him a lot and feel he will come back to me cos we definitely have a connection and I get under his skin a lot. We shared a lovely relationship – of course with fights but far more good memories. And he genuinely loved me. Well obviously to me he is the Greatest Rock Artist this country ever had and he is well known to be the father of Greek Rock as well!Some other people dislike him and consider him overrated and are very biased against him because of the way he died (over dose) and his drugs problem! All i know is that all the French,Italian,British,American friends i have had during the years who were Rock fans , they all told me one thing about him after listening his music and i translated his lyrics to them and the common thing they all said was that "This man's music and lyrics can be compared only with Jim Morrison " so i guess if Paularas was born in UK or USA now he would be an ultimate Rock legend worldwide now! I heard a new song on a hip hop station in Biloxi, MS that sounded like a white boy rapping but the lyrics were hysterical... it was like im so cool or im so fly and he put himself down saying he posted on his own wall on facebook and he asked his mom for ten bucks and she told him to take his skinny butt to the gym... anyone know what it is called or who sings it? more
