Satan's Assistant- sr I never knew what I was ever capable of doing of doing with my life, but I have always had the feeling that whatever it was, it wouldn't be good. Throughout the entire sixteen years of my mortal life, I always wished I was something different, something more than unusual, something unexpected. But life isn't always what you expect it to be. The thread of life fades away everyday- inch by inch, piece by piece, until one day; you're left stranded by yourself, holding onto that last inch of thread. What you do with it though, is entirely up to you. As for me, well, I didn't exactly get to choose what I got to do with my last piece. All throughout middle school, and the first two years of high school, I would wander day after day, wishing that I was a different person. I hated being the geek, the nerd, the guy with zits all over his face, and glasses too big to stay perched on the bridge of his nose. Sure, looks aren't everything, but when you're someone like me, you'd do just about anything to look more attractive. Most of the guys in my grade, and many of the older ones, just loved to pick on me. I know I couldn't have been the most unattractive guy at Timberland Valley High, but that didn't stop the snide comments about my looks, or the fact that not one girl would look me in the eye. Every day, someone would point and laugh at me for no reason, other than the fact that I was a nerd. But I was so self conscious, that I would always run to the boys bathroom and look over myself, making sure that my fly wasn't unzipped, or that I didn't have a note taped to my back saying 'Kick me- I'm a Geek'. One day, I got my wish. I would no longer have to be Stephan the Nerd, for a price. It was a price that I was willing to pay, and I didn’t care how evil it was. The day was September 20, 1917. It was like any other fall day in the small town of Dreamland, North Dakota. I was walking home from another long day of school, and I remember thinking that it was unusually quiet outside for such a nice day. The sun was shining at its brightest, and the breeze was blowing at a soft rate. I took the shortcut home, going through the dark forest behind my home. I didn't think much of it-occasionally I would walk through the thick rolls of trees when I needed to clear my head, which was quite often these days. But it was strange- there were no birds chirping, nor were there any small, furry animals skittering across the dirt earth. Perhaps something had scared them away. A hunter maybe? Or a gunman? Or was it something even more frightening than the two put together? I started to walk faster, speeding up my pace. Now I was starting to get scared. For the first time in my life, I was scared of the forest. A twig snapped from somewhere close to me, and I stopped walking. I didn't turn around, because I knew that whoever had snapped the twig wasn't me, because I didn't feel anything except dirt underneath the sole of my worn out tennis shoe. I wanted to run, but my fears got the best of me, and I stayed paralyzed in one spot. “Who- who's there?” I asked, looking straight ahead into the empty forest. No one spoke, nor was there any other sound to be heard. My first thought was that I had to be hearing things and that I should just continue on my way home, but then another thought crept up on me. No, I wasn't imagining things, and if I move, surely whoever, or whatever it was, will come after me. Another twig snapped again, louder this time. Okay, so whatever IT was, it was coming closer. I turned around, and looked straight into the blazing red eyes of the monster. If you could really call him a monster. He was a beautiful, but elderly creature. His hair was a light brown, the color of toffee, and hung straight down to his shoulders. He had bluish bags underneath his eyes, making him look as if he hadn’t been asleep in years, and a torso that looked as if he lifted weights for a living. I looked down at his hands, and noticed that his nails were yellow. What surprised me more though, were the black, angelic wings spread out behind him. If it weren't for the canine teeth he bared, I would've though he was God's angle, sent down from Heaven to help the humans like me living on the Earth. “Who are you?” I asked the God-like figure standing before me. I was trying my hardest not to sound frightened, and I figured I was doing a pretty good job, considering my voice wasn't uneven yet. The man looked down at me, taken in my features. He was at least a good foot taller than me, plus maybe a couple of inches or so. He had a booming, demanding voice, the kind that tells people that you are in control. When he spoke, I cringed, like a child getting scolded by his mother. “I AM SOAR, THE DOWNWORLD MESSENGER. since the age of 11 i was concious about my height...and always wanted to be tall...through out time when i became 18 i realized that a male adult stop growing at this age or the age 21... so i tried many ways..to increase my height..i always wanted to be 6"2 feet ( 188 cm) but iam quiet small ..iam 5"10 (178 cm).. although it is normal height... but it became a problem in me.. iam always self concious about height..i always wear a timberland boots..that have 3 cm heal .. but i like it too..it suits me..anyway... how can i overcome this problem? Voting Question: What should I wear, first date tonight?

I am 5'10", 168 lbs. I am taking a nice young lady to a restaurant downtown tonight. It's a nice place, but def. not worthy of a suit coat. I'm wearing dark blue jeans,a brown sweater that fits nicely and a charcoal pea coat. For shoes, I was planning on wearing dark brown timberland boots. This year already she has brought him: Slim 160gb Playstation 3 console 2 Playstation 3 games ($50 each) Yellow samsung genio touch cellphone iPod Touch 1 pair of kickers boots ($50) 1 pair of timberland boot ($80) & Lots of designer clothes It's RIDICULOUS how much she has got him this year, Don't you think that's alot?! And she has only got me and my sister an iPod touch each which we 110% appreciate, And are very thankful for it but he has also got 1 AND on top of that a Playstation 3 AND a phone. I wouldn't complain if we all just got an iPod but it's not like that, that's why I am so bothered. That's all. And when I asked her for a DVD box-set which is $15 she said "Sorry I don't have much money this year" and then I said "What you over spent on *Brothers name* again" and she's just like "Well..." I mean last year he got a PSP slim, a $300 BMX bike, tons of clothes and I got a picture frame and my sister got a PSP! but he still got double the amount as us. My dad has talked to her about it (because she does the christmas shopping as hes always working!) My dad hates him because he thinks my brother is a lazy f*g. It's so embarrassing because even my friends ask her "How comes you favor him so much" (about my brother) everybody notices. Resolved Question: Anyone know of a better or more popular brand/style of jean other then Anchor Blue jeans?

For years I've been wearing Anchor Blue jeans and they've been great, but I noticed of late they changed up their style and the way they made them. I love the fact they carry the black and different shades of the blue colored jeans in the style I liked but I'm trying to think of other brands that possibly carry these 2 colors as well and have somewhat of a variety of styles, like boot cut, loose, baggy, regular, etc. Can anyone help me with links on pictures or links to sites of certain brands that are more popular these days for a 30 year old man like myself lol? I usually wear black or brown/beige timberland like boots with my jeans and a dress shirt most of the time if that helps in what you might think on selection. I'm a 15 year old boy and i live with my big brother who is 21 years old. My mum and dad died when i was younger. I have been living with my Gran but she is getting really old and i've moved in with my big brother who has his own flat. I have been staying with him for about 3 weeks now. I have left school and i currently work for my big brother as he has a car valeting business. I really like it as i'm not really that clever, so i would find it hard to get a job as you need qualifications, its only me and him in the business. I'm really pleased to be working and living with him. Just last week when i thought he would be out for a few hours, i invited a girl over to my house (his flat), and he caught me and her having sex in my bed. I was naked and so was the girl. He started shouting at me, and then the girl got her clothes on and left. After she left he started shouting at me and telling me i was grounded. I told him its okay because we used protection. H just seemed to get even more angry. I then went to my room and after 10 minutes i decided i was going to go an see the girl. After a couple of hours of not being able to move my grandad walked into my bedroom. My grandad lives about an hour drive away from where i live so my dad had obviously told him what was going on. When he came into my room he started saying i'm ashamed of you after the way you have treated you father. He then said that he would have got the belt if he had done something like that when he was younger. He then said that he my dad has been to soft on me and that he is going to tan my backside till i see sense. My grandad then left my house. He had only stayed 10 minutes in our house. My dad then came into my room and said he's going to take the handcuffs off and that i'm going to take my trousers and boxers off, and that i'm going to bend over the bed. I just said that i would do it. Then i ran for it. As i ran he caught me and he had my arms in a position that i couldn't move. He then handcuffed me to the bed and said that i've just made it worse for myself. Next thing i new he was taking my trousers down and then my boxers. He then started hitting me with the leather of his belt, after about 25 times he started hitting me with the buckle. He hit me for about 15 times with the buckle of his belt. I begged him to stop but he just continued. My backside is killing me and it is bright red and it is bruised. He just left me lying handcuffed to my bed for another hour. While i was lying there he moved my tv, laptop, ps3, xbox 360, and ipod and allm my games out my room. He then took my mobile phone. That night he said that i would have 5 minutes to go to the toilet. He even came into the toilet with me and then said he's going to put the handcuffs back on. She has stolen my money (several times) in the past, she took my journal, she always called me names like "ugly face" and wished me dead. I am not ugly and I deserve to live! She always said she was playing whenever she said those things. But if someone keeps saying stuff like that over and over again to you, it hurts. I thought friends were supposed to be encouraging and supportive. But what kind of friend is she to be the total opposite? She's a big trouble maker and a liar. She was fired from her first job because she stole money from an employee there and was in another section of her job when she was not supposed to be there. She was also teaching the other workers how to dance. You are not supposed to do that on a job. She was running her mouth to these guys whom she called her friends, telling them that she was going to go to go away on vacation. She told them the exact date of when she was leaving. Then, the day she and her family went on vacation, those guys broke into her house and stole her X-Box 360 and a duffle bag full of her man clothing. She called the police and she tried to tell the police that she didn't know the guys but they probably threatened a lie detector test on her (because they probably knew how much she often lied) so she told the truth and said she knew them.they ended up not doing anything about the break in. but anyway, one day she was over my house and when i said i was going inside the house with her (you know just to make sure she wasn't going to take anything) she said "I'm not like those guys who broke into my house". I can't believe she said that because she's stolen so many things before. She had marajuana at school and was arrested for it. And then she complained to me on the phone saying that she only had fake marajuana and this other student had the real stuff and they gave him a lighter sentence. Seriously, how can you get ARRESTED for FAKE marajuana? Surely they would have been able to tell if it was fake. She is just a pathological liar. She is now on homebound until they figure out what to do with her..whether she should be allowed back into the school or to expell her or whatever. I tried ditching her many times before, but she always called my house EVERY SINGLE DAY. Even a month after I hadn't talked to her she still called. She is so dumb, she didn't get the hint that if I hung up the phone every time she called, I didn't want to speak with her. Until finally, my mom couldn't take it anymore and made me talk to her. So I tried doing the same thing a few more times, and ended up with the same results. I even thought I should still talk to her despite all the mean and ignorant things she said to be a nice person (which i am!!). However, she's still saying these mean and ignorant things. I told her to please stop saying those things, but she continues to do it. She never says anything good about me, even to strangers. and i did nothing to her. I don't know what the **** is wrong with that loon. I didn't want to tell her straight out that I didn't want to talk to her anymore because I didn't want to hurt her feelings. (yeah, i am cursed with a good heart). So now i am thinking about ditching her again and THIS time, I'm going to do it another way. My wife and I have been married for five years. Im 27 and she is 25. Voting Question: The best way to clean Timberland boots?

I bought a pair of Timberland boots a while back and wore them to a party. As you can imagine at the party they got covered in everything! Vomit, alcohol, the lot! I have heard that the best method is using boiling water, and old toothbrush and 'Carex' hand soap. Wetting and soaping the brush and cleaning the boots with it before rinsing it. Can anyone confirm this or give me a better method? more
